“We had a great experience with Diana. She's clearly an experienced "dog person" and her backyard setup is great - I love that there are two gates keeping the doggies safely contained. Great communication and photos too. Our pup came home happy and tuckered out from all the play time. Will definitely book again!”

“Pissamas is the only sitter for us when we go out of town because she has great communication and keeps us updated daily with pictures and videos of our dogs! Our dogs love staying with Pissamas and her family!”

“We love Sofiya! Brave is a very happy doggy while in her care. She sends us the sweetest check in messages that we love to read when away. She is a true dog lover and will spoil your pups!”

“I’m so grateful and blessed because Farbod and his wife took my pup, and treated her as their own. They were very responsible, updating me here and there about Poochie, which I totally appreciate, and helps when you are away from your pup. They are very responsive also. For sure, without a doubt, I will be a repeat client. 💕 Thank you Farbod and wife, can’t thank you guys enough!!”

“Megha and her husband were awesome. Absolutely no complaints. Very professional and communicative. They have a beautiful backyard for your dog to roam. They gave my senior dog lots of attention and sent many updates with pictures as soon as I left my dog there. I found that extremely comforting because I’ve never left my dog with strangers before. They also let my dog roam around so I never worried that he would be stuck in a crate somewhere. I know my little guy was very comfortable and I would definitely bring Rascal back!”

“Extremely happy with our booking with Anusha. Great communication with video and text updates throughout the days Buddy stayed. Felt very comfortable leaving him in Anusha’s care. I would recommend Anusha to anyone and would use her again🤓”

“I was lucky to find Michelle and Michael. My dog is young golden retriever with high energy. Michelle and Michael gave my dog plenty of cuddles and attention. They gave my dog long walk and played fetch with him. Michelle sent me updates frequently that helped relieve my separation anxiety. I couldn't be happier to have my dog stay with Michelle and Michael, who are really nice and caring people.”

“Our dogs were so happy with Kimberly’s care, they didn’t even get overly excited when they saw us when we picked them up. They did some zoomies at home and then fell asleep since they had so much fun at Kimberly’s place. We will definitely ask for her help again when we can’t take our furry kids with us.”

“Joshua did a wonderful job taking care of my mini Goldendoodle for nearly 5 days! It was the first time I had left my puppy with someone, and Joshua was very patient and gave Raja such attentive care! We appreciated the regular updates throughout the stay. I highly recommend Joshua and look forward to booking future stays for Raja!”

“We had a sitter for our pup for 3 yrs and had to find him a new sitter since we moved. After looking at several sitter we ate really happy and blessed to find Christy and her family. Thank you Christy and family!”

“Hi, I can tell when my dog was not stressed upon return from a boarding experience and our dog, was happy when no the caring hands of Steve and co. I got regular updates and My dog went on long walks and hikes. He had the company of other dogs and behaved in Steve’s presence- him being a trainer himself. Both the parties felt that it was a good fit - before boarding. Will not hesitate to recommend Steve with a glowing 5-stars!”

“Son, her husband and children did a wonderful job looking after PENNY. As soon as I met the family, I knew she was in good hands. They gave her an immense amount of love and attention. She went on adventures with them throughout the Bay Area and coastal regions. She had so much fun that it was like sending a 12 year old to summer camp! I would highly recommend Son and her family to take care of your little dog or a big dog when the time comes. They are also my friends now.”

“I can't express how grateful I am for the exceptional care that Michael and Karri provided for my dog. About: I grew up with dogs since the wee age of four. From Rottweilers to Poodle mixes and adorable, rescue chihuahua-somethings, I have always been lucky to have a dog or two (or three) by my side. I look forward to learning the specials things you love about your pet. I start the day taking the dogs out for a walk by the Anacostia River. In the mornings I work and take my toddler to an activity before naptime at noon. The dogs go out again after work and before dinner. There is a dog park attached to our building and an even bigger one nearby. Then finish the night with a treat and a final walk outside before snuggling into snoozeville. I have crates available for smaller dogs that prefer them and many isolated spots dogs can relax solo. I also have a pen/stroller to store my toddler if I notice a dog is feeling nervous.

“Courtney was positively fantastic. We will absolutely be using her for all future pet sitting. She took excellent care of our 3 kitties and in my opinion went above and beyond. She always provided detailed reports and lots of pictures showing our babies having a great time with her. It really put our mind at ease since this is the first time we had someone other than family watch them. Thank you Courtney! Odibee, Cricket and Doug all say thank you too.”

“5 stars! Tingting & Willow were fabulous cat sitters. Excellent communication, paid attention to details, and sent pictures daily of Mary. I highly recommend them!”

“Ariana is professional, detail oriented, and goes above and beyond. Her Rover cards were super thorough and transparent. She took such care of my baby - you can tell she is a true cat whisperer by how quickly my baby began to trust her. I will definitely be requesting her top notch services again in the future.”

“Stephanie is so approachable and her communication is top notch. Very professional! Patrick loved her and she gave him the minute he needed to warm up to the idea. Perfect experience all around. Highly recommend.”

“Valentina house-sat my cats for two weeks, and she was absolutely wonderful from the moment we met. She was responsive, attentive to my cats’ needs, and consistently communicative with me throughout the stay. I noticed that both of my cats were happier and more relaxed than they’ve been with any previous sitter. She also took great care of my seedlings, which were thriving when I returned, and my home was in even better condition than when I left it. I would gladly work with her again.”

“Rachel took great care of our 3 cats while we were gone for the weekend. I didn't have any issues communicating with her, and she was very prompt when replying to my messages. Rachel was very thorough, and the cats were happy and healthy with her. Just like other pet parents, leaving your fur babies at hole whole you're miles away isn't always easy but Rachel made us feel comfortable. She sent videos and photos of our cats, which were really appreciated! Would love to have her again in the future to take care of our cats.”

“We were leaving abroad for about two months. I’m very grateful to have found Weichen on Rover to take care of my cat. I really appreciated the care and attention given to my cat, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. I’m very grateful for the help and would absolutely trust Weichen to take care of my cat again in the future. I highly recommend Weichen to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter on Rover.”

About: I have taken care of cats since I started pet sitting 8 years ago. I have cared for all kinds of cats in a sitting setting and when working in veterinary clinics. I can care for all breeds, ages, and needs of cats and my knowledge is much more extensive than your average pet sitter due to my studies of vet med in school!

About: I have two amazing cats at home that I’ve helped take care of since we brought them home at 11 weeks from the shelter. I’ve loved taking care of shelter cats and strays, entrusted by my family and friends, throughout my years in college as well! I’m currently home for the summer before leaving for my full-time job in fall. So my schedule is completely open to take care of pets! I’m able to stay for extended periods of times and multiple stop bys. I have extensive experience taking care of different aged pets with varying backgrounds. I love playing, cuddling, or just existing in the same space to provide company!
“Our pets love when Elsa comes over to play while we are away. She went above and beyond accommodating our new food bowls and my over the top directions. Our fur babies are happy and healthy on our return. Will book her again in the future.”

About: I have lived with a cat for the past 9 years and help with care ranging from cleaning the litter box to specific dietary regiments that included medications to following her around to brush her. While a loving cat, my orange tabby is incredibly anxious so I am quiet observant as to her body language, as well as that of other cats. I have helped care for four weaned kittens who were on wet food and yet to be fully litter box trained so I am also comfortable with young cats.

About: I’ve been cat sitting for friends and family for 10+ years and truly love getting to know each cat’s unique personality. I’m very gentle, patient, and attentive. Whether your cat wants playtime, cuddles, or prefers their space. I pay close attention to their needs, from fresh food and water to a clean litter box, and I’m comfortable giving medications if needed. My goal is to make your cat feel safe, calm, and cared for while you’re away 🤍

“Natalie did a wonderful job taking care of my Persian cat while we were traveling. He was well cared for, and it gave me great peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. Highly recommended!”

“Hu-wen is easy to communicate with. He replies in a timely manner and is extremely reliable. He took good care of our cat (who is very spoiled and doesn’t like to be left alone). We received photos and updates and everything was done as agreed on. I can only recommend :)”

“Nasrin made the whole process simple and stress free. She communicated clearly and kept me updated. My cat warmed up to her quickly and seemed to genuinely enjoy their time together. I would happily book her again.”

“Courtney is the only person we trust to watch our cat! We’ve had other sitters in the past, and she is by far the best. Clear communication, responsive, friendly, and stress free - and, our cat loves her! She takes all the anxiety out of leaving our pet when we have to travel. I highly recommend her!”

“Our dog had a good day with Joshua and Evangeline! They are nice people and sent cute pictures of the dog. I appreciated that they were able to accept a fairly last-minute care request too.”

“Charlie had a wonderful stay-cation :) I felt confident with the care and love he received and would definitely like to have Charlie stay again. He cried for Christopher when we drove away which I found really endearing. Thank you!”

“Pissamas, was waiting in front of her house o greet us and our dog LuLu . She sent pictures and video of LuLu several times during the stay which reassured us that LuLu was doing OK. We will definitely be using Pissamas again for future boarding”

I am available Monday’s, Tuesdays and Thursdays afternoons, Fridays and weekends. I have a fenced yard and 1 small male dog, (5.5 yrs old). I have 3 kids ( 20,18 and 15). “I want to give a huge thank you to Bruno and his fiancée for taking such amazing care of my husky, Nova, especially on such short notice! From the moment I reached out, Bruno’s communication was clear, professional, and thoughtful. He asked about Nova’s allergies, schedule, and any personal preferences to make sure she’d feel comfortable and safe throughout the day. Within the first hour, I received pictures and a video of Nova walking and playing happily with their sweet pup, Jojo. Throughout the day, Bruno continued to send updates, pictures, and videos, in total, I received 15 photos and 4 videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear from the start that Nova was not only being watched, but truly cared for. They even gave her snacks and a fun new topping on her food to make her feel extra special. On top of that, Bruno made sure to update Nova’s Rover report with a detailed summary: two long walks, potty breaks, food and water intake, every detail was covered. To top it all off, at the end of the visit, Nova went home with a goody bag and so much love. It genuinely felt like she had a mini vacation of her own. 💛 If you’re looking for responsible, loving, and attentive care for your furry friend, I can’t recommend Bruno and his fiancé enough. They treat your pup like family and make the whole experience stress-free and joyful. I will absolutely bring Nova back again, this is the kind of care every fur friend deserves!”

About: I used to have many dogs and experience with dogs of all sizes. All of my family members have dogs of all different breeds so I am familiar with different personalities and temperments. Dogs get a lot of attention and frequent walks. I would take them for leashed walks around the neighborhood and they can roam around indoors and outside in the fenced patio area. I am familiar with administering oral medications and applying ointments. I have a furminator and can offer bathing. I am available every day of the week including weekends. Dropoff and pickup times are flexible. I have different toys that the dogs can play with. I can follow specific care instructions for your dog. Your dog will be treated like family. I am home with my kids full time so I have a lot of time to spend with your pets. Pets should be good around children. I have a 4 year old and 1 year old and I do not want them to get hurt and I do not want the pets to get stressed out by the children. I have a fenced patio/yard. Lots of grassy areas outside for leashed walks. Pets are allowed on couch and in bed. Area in home for puppy pads if they are used to using those. Pets would be treated with lots of love and care as if they were our own.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over seven years through the Wag! platform in addition to friends and family’s pups, and have experience with a wide variety of breeds and personalities. Over time, I’ve discovered that I truly excel with smaller, calmer, and more mellow dogs—and that’s where my focus is for Rover. I take a gentle, attentive approach to dog care, paying close attention to each dog’s comfort level, routine, and preferences. I’m especially mindful of dogs who thrive in quieter, low-stress environments and do best with patience and consistency. Whether it’s relaxed walks, cozy companionship, or simply maintaining their normal routine, my goal is always to create a safe, low-stress experience where dogs feel secure, respected, and genuinely cared for. Pet care is my top priority. My schedule is flexible so I may step away for some dog walks, but I am mindful of my schedule and adjust taking additional walks accordingly. I take safety, trust, and comfort very seriously in both my home and my clients’ homes. I approach every pet with patience and respect, allowing them time to adjust and feel secure in a new environment or routine. In my home, I maintain a calm, clean, and pet-friendly space that’s especially well-suited for smaller, mellow pets. I have a fully fenced yard, and all outdoor time is closely supervised to ensure safety at all times. I’m mindful of doors, gates, and potential hazards, and I create a quiet environment where pets can relax without unnecessary stress or overstimulation. I closely follow each pet’s routine, feeding instructions, and any specific care preferences shared by their owner. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with the same respect and attention as my own. I follow all instructions carefully, maintain consistency with the pet’s normal schedule, and ensure their environment remains safe, familiar, and comfortable. I’m attentive to changes in behavior or mood and communicate promptly with owners if anything seems out of the ordinary. Above all, I aim to build trust—both with pets and their people—by being reliable, observant, and genuinely attentive to each pet’s well-being.

“Absolutely love, Rachel and her family! She is so willing to work through problems that arise during day care. Very supportive! Your puppy would be so happy to call her home their second home.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for friends, relatives and clients for years. Our house is their pets’ second home when they travel or need us. I can do the same for you, too. During the weekend I am mostly home. Weekdays, I partially work from office and home. There is plenty of time to spend time with your pet or walk them frequently. My husband works from home full time, so there is always one or two adults at home. We live in a single house with a fenced backyard, and there is a big greenbelt right outside our backyard ( see images). Therefore it’s very convenient for frequent walks or play time for your pet. They can also meet other dogs as well. As a family, we are comfortable with being around furry friends. We volunteer with my daughters at a local farm cleaning, caring, patting…. Love it! Our own cat-Zeytin is very calm and friendly. We love to play, walk, cuddle, spend some quiet time with our pet and guest pets and will do the same with yours, too. Looking forward to meeting you and your pet! Nevin
About: I’ve always had dogs around, and we adopted Annie, our latest furry friend, four years ago. I treat my dogs like my babies, and spend a lot of time playing with them and making sure they are looking pretty at all times! I work from home, so I’m free to care for your dogs during the week. Weekend availability might be a bit spotty. I only leave the dogs alone when I’m heading to the gym (about an hour), but otherwise I always bring them along, even to restaurants! Please provide food, treats, a food bowl, and a dog carrier (it’s super important!). I have plenty of toys :) I live in a townhouse, I don’t have a yard but I take the dogs out for pee breaks every 3-4 hours and 2 20min walks (morning and evening). I have puppy gates in the house to confine them to the 1st floor if we step out, and a crate (if needed). I also have a camera on that floor to monitor the dogs!
“Megha and Avi are the absolute best! Barfi is icing on the cake 🙂 This was Luna’s first day care visit ever. I was anxious about how she would do without me, but Megha and Avi made her feel right at home. They kept me updated about her with pics and videos. Gave me a report when I went to pick her up which was insightful. She had such a great time, and even came home with a bandanna! I would definitely go back with them and recommend them to other pet parents”

“Diem took great care of my dog—very kind, genuine, and clearly someone who really loves dogs. She has a secure fenced setup (including the front/driveway area), which made me feel comfortable right away. She showed my dog a lot of love and even took the time to ask about what she could eat because she wanted to give her something extra, which I really appreciated. By the end, my dog felt completely at home. Honestly, I think my dog was a little sad to leave… and I can’t say I blame her. Would definitely book again.”

“Laura was so great with Rogue. We’ve had some reservations about booking during 4th of July due to Rogues anxiety but we felt at peace knowing she was in good hands.”

“Thao took such good care of Cacau. She was very sweet and kept sending pictures and videos. Cacau had a lot of fun and was super tiered from all the play time with Thao’s dogs. I really recommend Thao’s services 😊”

“This is my first time ever hiring dog walkers, and while I was always open to the idea, I was a little hesitant at first. Willow and Tingting have completely exceeded my expectations. They have been amazing with my little girl, Pepper, and always provide thoughtful updates after every walk. Their communication is so detailed that I almost feel like I'm right there with them. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing that Pepper is happy, well cared for, and in such loving hands. I couldn't recommend them more!”
“Charlie is the absolute best! She has been doing daily walks for my dog and it is the highlight of his day. His sits by the door waiting for her to arrive, gets so stinking excited when she shows up and toodles off with her in heaven. Charlie provides detailed updates on the walk and is highly communicative with us. In short, I could not recommend Charlie more!”
“So happy with Abby! She walked our babies several days both this week and last, and she did a great job. She made me feel comfortable having to leave them for longer periods of time. Highly recommend working with her!”

“So glad we found Courtney! My dog, Ivy, and I did a Meet & Greet and walked around the block. Ivy can be a handful on the leash, but Courtney did a great job managing her energy and pulling. We had a nice chat while walking together, and it’s clear Courtney has a natural way with dogs. Ivy liked her so much she was ready to head off on a longer walk without me! She's responsive, easy to talk to, and definitely someone I trust. I felt completely comfortable leaving Ivy in her care and have added her to my 'favorites' list for future walks.”

About: Hi! My name is Tim, and I’ve always had a strong love for dogs and the outdoors. I currently own and care for Kali, my energetic Belgian Malinois/Rottweiler mix. Raising and training a large, high-energy breed has given me hands-on experience with daily exercise, leash handling, basic obedience, socialization, and providing consistent structure and care. Because of Kali’s energy level, I’m comfortable walking active dogs that need both physical exercise and attention. I understand the importance of patience, safety, and reading a dog’s body language to help ensure a positive experience on every walk. I’m reliable, active, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs of all sizes. Whether your dog prefers a long adventure, a neighborhood stroll, or extra attention and playtime, I’ll treat them with the same care and respect I give my own dog. My goal is to make sure your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away! If dogs could text, mine would probably spend all day asking, “Walk now?” If your pup feels the same way, I’d be happy to help! I’m primarily available on weekdays and love making sure dogs get plenty of exercise, attention, and tail-wagging fun while their owners are away. Weekend availability is sometimes possible too—just ask! 🐾 I treat every dog as if they were my own. Safety and trust come first, and I take pride in creating a positive environment where dogs feel comfortable, secure, and cared for. As an active dog owner with experience handling energetic large breeds, I understand how important exercise, attention, and consistency are. You can count on me to provide safe walks, reliable care, and plenty of love while keeping your dog’s well-being my top priority.

About: I’ve been a pet owner my whole life, growing up I had three different dogs, Ruby, who died when I was 8, Ollie, and Zoe. I’ve had three fish, two mice, a lizard, and a hamster. Starting at age 12, I began dog and cat sitting for my neighbors and friends, and many families have relied on me for the care of their animals when they cannot be there. I also study animal science with a pre vet concentration in school so I'm extremely knowledgeable on how to correctly interact and care for pets I am currently a full time pet sitter, so sitting is my whole life at the moment. During the year I study animal science but when I am not working over the summer I love to read and bake! The only time I am busy throughout the week is when I have class which is for max of 3.5hrs, so I can make your times work! I usually will dogsit in your home, unless unusual circumstances where it would have to be at my house. I live in a house with a yard that’s gated so room for them to play.
About: I’ve grown up my whole life with at least one dog and currently have 4. I have a 14 year old border collie mutt, a 7 year old aussie/german shepherd mix, and two 2 year old border collies. My oldest dog is around 90 pounds and my youngest around 30 pounds so I have a lot of experience handling/taking care of a wide range of dogs. I take them on walks or to the park very regularly and also take them on runs! I’m currently a full time student at UC Davis and missing my 4 dogs so I would love to take your pups on a walk to help fill that void:) I am home for the summer so I’m free most days of the week and am flexible on times. Like I mentioned previously I currently have 4 dogs so I have alot of experience with taking care of dogs. Two of my dogs currently sleep in crates so I’m very familiar with crate training as well.
“Riley was excellent with our dog Nova. She was on time for morning walks for two full weeks while we were on vacation. She provided Nova with plenty of exercise and care and provided us with detailed updates and lots of photos. We will definitely book Riley again!”

About: I volunteered with the Humane Society of Silicon Valley to help socialize rescue dogs and cats of all levels of shyness. My own dog was a rescue who needed a lot of time and care to open up to people. I have also dog sat for multiple dogs at a time! I have very open availability! I am a university student on break so I have no other obligations. I can stay overnight as well to keep your pet company. I'm used to cleaning up messes if your pet gets sick, and am able to let your pet out to pee/clean their litter box at any time! I also have experience giving medicine to dogs.
About: Hi! I'm new to Rover, however, I've loved animals all my life. And I understand how important it is to ensure your fur baby is cared for ❤️ I have my own pup, Cloud (my goober bear) and fish at home. My family also has cats, so I’m very familiar with all kinds of personalities. I’ve also volunteered at a horse ranch and helped care for chickens, and one day I’d love to have my own little farm + animal sanctuary 🐾 My biggest priority is making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and as close to their normal routine as possible like you never left. I really take the time to understand what matters most to you and your pet, so I can mirror that same love, energy, and care while you’re away. I’m very active, mindful, and intuitive (I’m also a yoga teacher), which helps me tune into animals and their nonverbal cues. Whether your pet wants playtime and adventures, or calm energy and space, I’m happy to meet them exactly where they are. I’ll treat your pet like my own with so much love, presence, and care 🐾❤️ With a flexible, part-time schedule as a yoga instructor, I’m able to offer consistent, attentive care and be fully present with your pet. I prioritize quality time, routine, and making sure they feel safe and at ease while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and attentive environment, follow routines closely, and ensure fresh food, water, and care at all times. I’m mindful, reliable, and treat your pet (and home) like my own

From the moment I met them, it was clear they genuinely love animals and treat them like family. They went above and beyond to ensure my dog felt safe, happy, and loved during her stay. It was such a relief for me to know she was in such capable hands. Their attention to detail and affectionate approach truly made all the difference.
