About: Hi, I’m Paulina! I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, with hands-on pet care experience dating back to when I was in middle school. Over the years, I’ve cared for all kinds of pets, including guinea pigs, dwarf hamsters, mice, turtles, freshwater fish, a cornsnake, a bearded dragon, and of course, cats and dogs! I have four cats of my own, so I’m very familiar with the responsibility and attention to detail that comes with caring for multiple pets and maintaining their individual routines. I’ve fostered two abandoned puppies, cared for them while they were looking for their next chapter, and helped find them loving homes. I also recently fostered a feral queen and her litter of 4 kittens that were just two weeks old (so tiny and cute!). I had them for about 6 weeks before they went off to their loving homes (yes, I was a foster fail and adopted one!). These experiences really reinforced how much I value giving animals patience, stability, and plenty of affection while they’re in my care. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and understand that every pet is different. Some need lots of playtime and attention, while others are shy, independent, or need a little extra patience to feel comfortable around someone new. I’m happy to meet pets where they are and follow their normal routines as closely as possible. I’m also very attentive to cleanliness, feeding schedules, fresh water, enrichment, and changes in behavior. I want you to feel confident that your pets aren’t just being checked on but they’re genuinely being cared for. I also completely understand the anxiety and concern when it comes to going on trips and leaving your fur babies at home, so I always send detailed updates with lots of pics. “Sumaira is always on time and I know I can count on her to take good care of my fur babies. While walking my Siberian Husky another dog that was unleased attacked my dog. Sumaira safely got my girl home and check her out from head to toe. She promptly notified me that the husky was attacked, however alright. Sumaira let me know there was a little blood on her ear, however she did not appear to be injured. I myself have had another dog attack us when we were walking. Sumaira did the responsible thing and notified me and ensured my girl was alright. In this type of situation that is best can be accomplished and despite this incident I will ask Sumaira to walk her again.”

About: I worked as a certified pet care specialist for 3 years and have been dog sitting and walking for five years. I have a 3 year old Pomeranian dog and been a dog owner my whole life. 😊 I’m currently working part-time so I will have plenty of time to play, walk, and attend to your pups! I also have a fenced backyard so can play with them in the yard as well and take regular morning and afternoon walks with my pup daily! I have a fenced yard and a 3 year old Pomeranian who is super friendly and can keep your pup company! We have plenty of room for a crate as well if you want your pup to be crated at any time and pets are allowed on all furniture in my home. 😊

About: Throughout my childhood I’ve been surrounded by animals of all kinds - dogs in particular. My family has always had at least one dog in our household and I’ve spent a combined three years volunteering, shadowing, and working at animal hospitals / clinics - learning how to meet the needs of every dog or cat I encounter. The passion I had as a child led me to pursue zoology. I recently graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt and while there I worked at the Humboldt Wildlife Care Center. It was here that I learned to confidently and humanely rehabilitate numerous critters. I’ve worked with everything from raccoons to seabirds! The experience I’ve collected throughout my life has left me confident in my ability to provide structured and comforting care to any cat, dog, or other critters you may have.
