About: I have had my dog Samba for about 8 years. When we adopted him I promised my parents that I would walk and take care of him, and I have kept. that promise ever since 😆. I also enjoy pet sitting for friends and neighbors dogs/cats/guinea pigs/bearded dragons. I’m an incoming college freshman and I want to stay busy doing something fun before school starts in late September. I’m also willing to wake up early or stay up late. I think it really depends on the type of pet, but for dogs I usually let them out in the morning after waking up, right before going to bed, and any time in between that they need to go. Walks will be 1-2 times a day to the park or around the neighborhood, and playing in the backyard is an option too if the dog seems interested. In a clients home it will probably be the same, or different as requested.

“Sumaira is always on time and I know I can count on her to take good care of my fur babies. While walking my Siberian Husky another dog that was unleased attacked my dog. Sumaira safely got my girl home and check her out from head to toe. She promptly notified me that the husky was attacked, however alright. Sumaira let me know there was a little blood on her ear, however she did not appear to be injured. I myself have had another dog attack us when we were walking. Sumaira did the responsible thing and notified me and ensured my girl was alright. In this type of situation that is best can be accomplished and despite this incident I will ask Sumaira to walk her again.”

About: Pets have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. There's always been a cat curled up somewhere or a dog waiting by the door, and taking care of them has never felt like a chore to me. It's just what I do. I work from home, so I'm around a lot during the day and can usually work around your schedule, even for midday visits or last-minute plans. If I'm looking after your pet, you'll hear from me. I like sending updates and photos so you actually get to see how your dog or cat is doing, not just a generic "all good" message. I'm new to Rover, but pets have never been new to me. I'll take care of yours the way I'd want someone to take care of my own. I work remotely, which means I'm home most days and have some flexibility built into my schedule. I can usually fit in midday drop-ins, walks between meetings, or last-minute visits that a lot of sitters with traditional 9-to-5 jobs can't accommodate. Afternoons and evenings tend to be my most open windows, but I'm generally easy to reach and can adjust as needed. I treat your space and your pet's routine with respect. I follow the feeding, medication, and care instructions you provide exactly as given, and I keep your home secure the whole time I'm there. I pay close attention to your pet's body language and comfort level, especially with cats or nervous dogs who need a little more patience before they warm up to someone new. If anything seems off with your pet or your home while I'm there, I'll let you know right away.

About: Hi, I'm Arthur Jackson and can't wait to meet you and your companion. I am a Certified Dog Trainer with Animal Behavioral College and I have 2 dogs of my own, ages 7(German Shepherd) and 2(Mini Aussie Border Collie) which I have both raised from puppies. Currently I am only offering walks to clients in a five mile radius to where I live and I am available from 7am - 3pm Monday through Friday. I take pride in all my work and since I am offering a service I want to do it to the best of my ability always improving. Hope to see you soon. I'm currently working as a martial arts instructor and have recently been certified as a dog trainer. As I teach martial arts in the late afternoon to night, I am available 7am - 3pm Monday through Friday for dog walking or sitting. Weekends are a more flexible schedule for me if you are looking for a later time dog sitter or walker. I currently do not offer dog sitting in my home. If you would like pet sitting, I do offer in client's home pet sitting and will abide by your rules and regulations and give your dog the care and attention he or she needs. Best house sitting days are Saturday/Sunday.

About: I am an energetic, sociable, caring, athletic, intelligent and fun loving person. You might say I have the spirit of a dog! I have owned dogs since I was a child and cats for my adult life and know what it takes to keep a fur baby happy and healthy. I have worked with dog groomers and have house sat for years. About: I am attending school at UCSC for legal studies and have a robust knowledge of dog parks, dog-friendly beaches and trails from Santa Cruz to the City! If you’d like to socialise your dog, you’re in luck because I have a 10-month-old baby 🐾 of my own. We have tons of doggo friends for your pooch to meet if you choose, and no matter what, your dog is getting top-tier handling and care when you trust working with me! If there are behaviours you’d like to work on or would like me to be aware of, please do not hesitate to reach out, and we can discuss them further. I am available for full time pet care, I am also available for part time + available to board if needed. There has not been an hour where I have not been in the company of 1 or more dogs since 2015. I have a fenced yard for the dogs to go potty and run uninhibited. I have a small scale toy and treat business which means the dogs will have plenty to keep them occupied and if he/she would like to go home with their favourites, we can arrange for that too. I am capable of pickup and drop off as well as supervised visits to the park, creeks, the beach, trails, etc.
