“Sumaira is always on time and I know I can count on her to take good care of my fur babies. While walking my Siberian Husky another dog that was unleased attacked my dog. Sumaira safely got my girl home and check her out from head to toe. She promptly notified me that the husky was attacked, however alright. Sumaira let me know there was a little blood on her ear, however she did not appear to be injured. I myself have had another dog attack us when we were walking. Sumaira did the responsible thing and notified me and ensured my girl was alright. In this type of situation that is best can be accomplished and despite this incident I will ask Sumaira to walk her again.”

“I feel so fortunate and grateful to have found Anke on Rover. After a smooth meet and greet before their first walk, I was confident that things would work out during their walk today and I was right. Anke is a spectacular communicator, and she’s skilled with dogs like mine who require extra attention. I can tell Fred loved their time together!”

“Sydney has walked my dog, Louis, on several occasions. His interaction with Louis is very positive and Louis is excited when Sydney comes. Sydney has always been on time and sends pictures during the walk to let me know that he has Louis. I definitely recommend Sydney!”

“Heidi is an excellent and professional dog walker. We appreciate her for taking care of our dog, cats and turtles when we were traveling, that’s lot of works but she’s done well. We would be very happy to recommend Heidi our friends.”

About: I just moved to the area with my sister and I’m looking to make some furry friends while getting to know the community! I have a lifetime of experience caring for all kinds of animals from dogs and cats, to fish and rabbits, even chicken and turkeys. Growing up I was relied on by neighbors and friends to cat and dog sit, and I continued to help out family friends when I had spare time throughout college. I love to make animals feel loved and cared for, and most importantly safe and healthy! I’m currently unemployed as I just moved to the area, so I have a lot of free time as I look for more permanent employment. To me, the most important thing in animal care is open communication with my clients. I want the pets in my care to feel as comfortable as they can with someone who knows their needs, and no one knows their pets needs better than their owner. Making a pet comfortable requires a level of respect for the deep bond between animal and their owner. My aim is to honor this bond through an approach that is both loving and informed
About: As a dedicated dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find a trustworthy and loving sitter. I've always loved the idea of having a pet and was fortunate enough to meet my Australian shepherd/German shepherd mix dog Darwin when I was 19! I am now 24 and caring for Darwin and spending time with him is a highlight of my day everyday. I provide personalized care, ensuring your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or just extra cuddles, I treat every pet like my own. I have experience with dogs of all sizes. I lead a very active and fit lifestyle, so I have the strength necessary to handle bigger dogs. I’m also attentive to unique needs, such as administering medications, basic training reinforcement, and ensuring a comfortable routine. Your pet’s happiness and well-being are my top priorities! I recently graduated, and I currently work remotely full-time. This means my schedule is generally flexible, more so on the weekends, of course. I can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits, whether for walks, drop-ins, or extended stays. I love spending quality time with animals and make sure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they need. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free while you're away. Let me know what works best for you, and I’ll be there to help! In your home, I respect your pet’s routine, providing attentive care, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. I also make sure to follow any special instructions, including feeding schedules, medication needs, and training reinforcement.
“Rebecca responded quickly when I needed someone with only 2 days notice to walk my pup! My dog loved her and she sent me great updates! I was so grateful to find someone to jump in and help us out. I will definitely keep using her to help walk my dog!”

About: What makes me the best candidate? I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. I have also had the privilege to watch puppies all the way up to elderly dogs. Being a dog mom myself I know every dog is different and has their own personality. That’s why I always like to make sure the dog and I are on the same page to ensure we both have an amazing time. I do work with kids on a day to day basis. That leaves my mornings and middays with a lot of free time. I do love the kids but would like to have a change of scenery and dopamine boost with walking dogs on the daily. I’d care for pets the same way I do mine in my house with all the love and cuddles I have to offer. I do love communication so if there’s anything special that is needed with your pets I’m more than willing to listen. I know how special you hold your pets to your heart so I want to give them the same treatment.
About: I love spending time with them, taking them to get some fresh air, my time is theirs, my children love them and I take them in. I have three children and therefore I have all the time to share with the furry ones who are children who need all my love I have a yard in the back of the apartment, it's very big and there we have fun and spend time together todos en casa
“Liubov is wonderful! She is an excellent dog walker and we are lucky to have her looking after our fur babies. She does a great job keeping us in the loop and always arrives on time. Highly recommend! :) Thank you, Liubov!”

About: I love all animals and love to interact and care for them. Animals are part of our family and needed to be treated as such. I am currently a stay-at-home homeschooling mom so I could spend almost every minute with your fur baby to make sure they are having a wonderful time. I have a dog as well so your fur baby will have some company. Also my daughter just loves dogs as well and your fur baby will be extra loved.
“Karlin was very reliable and we felt safe leaving our dog in her care. Would be very happy if she will take care of Hazel again next time we need someone. She was thoughtful and a good communicator too. Thank you again, Karlin!”

About: I’ve been around dogs ever since I was 3, my dad owning 2 Pitties, then a rescued Shiba Inu, and now a yorkie/silky mix. People perceive pet care as easy, but I believe the dogs personality, behavior & body language, and breed history take a lot of time and understanding. My experiences with family dogs have helped with watching others pets recently, and I enjoy people/dog watching to see how they handle their dogs on walks. Since I've departed my part time job and recently got my first car, I've had a ton of free time! I've been exploring local parks and trails for possible walking routes. I enjoy sending daily or nightly updates on how the animals may be fairing while you're away! And I'll always be thorough in questions or uncertainties if something should arise.
“I am so impressed with Sarit! She is punctual, caring and responsible. She shares detailed notes & pictures and communicates in a timely manner. Most importantly, she obviously loves and cares for our dog. It’s great to be at work and not have to worry about our dog - knowing she is in good hands with Sarit! I feel fortunate that we found Sarit on Rover!”

“Maria is a wonderful dog walker. Our puppy is quite nervous with strangers, and he absolutely loves her. She is kind to him and makes every walk / visit a nice experience!”

Pam did a great job of walking our puppy while we were out of town. Our daughter was working from home and was unable to get him his usual walks. Pam was punctual and communicative and had some good feedback for us about our pup. Will definitely use her again in the future.
