About: Since I can remember, dogs have always been a part of my life. From a young age, I took on the responsibility of caring for the family pet – bathing it, preparing meals, and taking it for walks every day. This wasn't just a duty; it marked the beginning of a profound bond between me and the dogs. As I grew older and entered the workforce, I decided to have a pet of my own, leading me to the adorable Teddy dog I have now. She was a little puppy when I first welcomed her into my life, witnessing my joys and sorrows as we grew together. Now, she has entered the twilight years at the age of twelve, and my dedication to her care and well-being has never waned. Over the years, I've personally nurtured her, not only in the routine aspects of daily care but also in addressing occasional health issues that come with aging. Perhaps due to the inevitable passage of time, she encounters minor health challenges from time to time, but I always approach them with patience and compassion. From simple colds to joint problems, each bout of illness has been an opportunity to deepen our connection and showcase my caregiving skills. I take pride in the fact that, even at the age of twelve, she remains in good health. Through a balanced diet, regular exercise, and routine veterinary check-ups, I ensure she maintains a healthy and joyful life. She isn't just a pet; she is an indispensable friend in my life, and her companionship enriches and adds meaning to my existence. In my heart, she will forever be the companion who silently stands by me. Regardless of what happens, I am steadfast in my commitment to her well-being. This beautiful and profound story not only connects the emotional bond between me and my dog but also highlights my genuine passion and extensive experience in pet care. I am currently planning to work full-time in pet care, with availability on both weekdays and weekends. Within a 5-mile around of my address, I can offer free picking up services for your pet's boarding. The key is to personalize the services I offer based on the pet's species, personality, and pet owner's needs. By providing attentive care, I can build deeper relationships with my pets and ensure they live healthy, happy lives in my care.

17. Melissa & Axel W.
About: My husband and I have cared for and trained our own dogs since we were kids, sometimes as many as 4 dogs at once. Our beloved dogs Blue & Holly (both weimaraners) died two and one year ago and we find ourselves missing them both so much. We would love to host or walk your dog and give them the same love and attention we gave our Blue & Holly. Axel works from home and our family is also home most of the day and our boys are homeschooled so we have flexible schedules during school hours, most times after 8am. We may be able to be more flexible, so please let us know! For visits/walking: We are able to fit in whatever your pup needs. From walks (including small amount of training, if desired) to playing in your house or yard, to simple affection. Depending on the time or scenario, we may be able to go running with your pooch a few times a week. We love dogs! We have a large backyard and also go on at least two long dog walks per day. Dogs can snuggle in the house or play in the backyard throughout the day. We have 4 kids who have experience with large dogs and are eager to meet your pop. Please, only dogs that are good with children and other dogs.
