“We had a sitter for our pup for 3 yrs and had to find him a new sitter since we moved. After looking at several sitter we ate really happy and blessed to find Christy and her family. They are very loving and caring and took a very good care of our pup. They also shared an update with a picture which gave us a peace of mind that our puppy is well taken care of. Thank you Christy and family!”

“Great visit! Norelvis was always responsive, kept us updated with photos and comments about how Caesar was doing throughout his stay. Nice, large space for the dogs to hang out and play. Caesar definitely had a relaxing time”

“Evegeniia is a great dog sitter! She came to our meet and greet with plenty of questions and was genuinely interested in Willow’s needs and how to care for her. We got plenty of videos, photos and text updates and it was clear that Willow was thriving while we were away. I definitely recommend Evegeniia to take care of your dog.”

“Highly recommend! Qi was fantastic with my dogs. I received regular updates and photos, which made me feel so much better while I was away. They clearly love animals and took great care of everything. I will definitely be booking with them again!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Jennifer. I appreciated her speedy responses when we were messaging back and forth to set everything up. You can tell that she and her family really love animals. Our dog Kona got a walk in every day we were gone and Jennifer kept us in the loop with pictures and updates on how the weekend was going. We already have our next booking with Jennifer set up. Thank you Jennifer!”

“Carole and Terry were great with our boxer Fig! They were very communicative and handled his leash reactivity and anxious non-eating really well. We're definitely booking a longer stay with them in the near future, and will feel much better about leaving our pup with familiar faces!”

“Jesse was great to work with from the moment of booking request. He was communicative, timely, and proactively shared messages/images during the boarding to keep us at ease. Our dog came back happy and seems to have had a good time!”

“Boris and Olga were amazing dog-sitters. They sent me continuous updates and pictures. My dog looked really happy and calm in all. I highly recommend them.”

“Pissamas took care of our baby boy and sent us bi-daily updates with pictures while we were on our trip. We couldn’t have chosen a better pet sitter!!! Highly recommended!”

“Steve loves dogs and is very experienced caring for them and making them feel comfortable away from home. Our large Shepherd/Rottie mix was well taking care off during a weeklong stay with daily walks and lots of playtime. It was clear from the many photos that he was having a great time, allowing us the peace and mind to enjoy our trip. Fantastic sitter - would absolutely recommend !”

“I was lucky to find Michelle and Michael. My dog is young golden retriever with high energy. Michelle and Michael gave my dog plenty of cuddles and attention. They gave my dog long walk and played fetch with him. Michelle sent me updates frequently that helped relieve my separation anxiety. I couldn't be happier to have my dog stay with Michelle and Michael, who are really nice and caring people.”

“This was the first time boarding Benito and Kimberly did an awesome job. Kimberly kept us posted and took good care of Benito. Thank you Kimberly for taking care of him!”

“Juliana was amazing. My dog, Pumpkin, is a senior pup who can be very sad when I leave her at boarding. She walked right into Juliana's and gelt comfortable - this was a positive sign. Juliana sent updates and pictures while we were gone. There a cold snap during Pumpkin's time, and Juliana had her in a sweater, let her sit curled up in a blanket on the couch, and I could see how relaxed Pumpkin was. The next time I leave town, I know who I will be entrusting to cate for Pumpkin. Thank you again Juliana!”

“Li-Ting was such an amazing sitter for our dogs. She not only makes sure to send frequent updates and pictures, but also will spoil your dogs in the best way! Our boys got to try so many different toys and treats and a hike on the weekend to boot! I would absolutely leave our dogs in Li-Ting's care again and I'm sure they can't wait to go back!”

“We are so grateful for Nadia! She took care of our 2 pups for 8 days and was absolutely wonderful. From the start, she was so pleasant, attentive, and clearly loved our dogs as if they were her own. She went above and beyond—sending us consistent updates, photos, and videos every day, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our pups got lots of love and extra attention, and honestly, they still miss her! It’s rare to find someone so dependable and caring, and we couldn’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for a dog sitter who truly connects with pets. Thank you, Nadia!”

“Milo had a great time with Megha and her family! Especially with their dog Barfi! They sent lots of updates and lots of photos of Milo, which helped me feel reassured that Milo was in good hands and that he was having a good time. Milo played so much with Barfi, and it really seems like he has gained a new best friend. Will definitely be booking with them again!”

“Nasrin was very responsive and able to adapt things for us. We did a comprehensive meet and greet and she was professional and friendly. Would definitely have her watch our kitty again!”

“I would give Kristin a 6 star review if I could. We have a challenging cat, to say the least, and Kristin took this with stride. Kristin came over on time every day, fed Maddy, gave her water, and sent me updates. If Kristin can handle Maddy, I'm absolutely positive she can do anything. Thank you for all your help!!!”

About: Cats have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I've spent years watching cats for friends and family, from easygoing lap cats to the shy ones who take a while to trust anyone new. I know cats aren't all the same, some want attention right away, others need space and time, and I pay attention to what each individual cat actually wants rather than treating them all the same way. I currently have my own cat, Lucy, so I understand the day-to-day of feeding schedules, litter box habits, and reading a cat's mood. If something seems off, I'll notice and let you know. I'm new to Rover, but cats have never been new to me.
“Debbie went above and beyond watching our two fur babies. If Lupini & Truffle could leave 10/5 stars they would! She loved and cared for them like they were her own. We are so lucky to have found Debbie!”

“Rachel took excellent care of my senior kitty Bob. As a first time Rover user, I impressed that she came over to meet me and Bob prior to finalizing our booking. She answered all my questions thoroughly and took the time to connect directly with Bob so he would be somewhat familiar with her. I appreciate that Rachel proactively contacted me the day before our trip to review instructions. She was wonderful about providing regular communications and updates at every visit which was also reassuring to me while we were away. Thanks Rachel!”

“I couldn’t be more appreciative of having Elise as an in-home sitter for my cat when I have to be away for trips. She is so accommodating, friendly, and reliable. Most importantly she’s good with me and good with my cat, and puts us at ease. This gives me peace of mind when I’m traveling. She’s detail oriented with regard to his special health needs (insulin injections) and challenging dietary behavior as he’s gotten older. He recently threw up on the carpet, and she cleaned it up without a bit of complaint, though I honestly felt terrible. I could not recommend Elise enough to give your pet the best care and love you could get on overnight sitting services.”

“Carina was great. All the photos we got of our cats was of them playing or eating (their two favorite things so I knew they were happy). Carina also took a last minute extension which gave us a longer vacation and more peace of mind. Who definitely recommend and request Carina again. 5 stars”

About: I’ve provided drop-in care for cats, including feeding, refreshing water, litter box cleaning, and playtime. I understand cats have unique personalities—some are social and playful, while others prefer space and a calm presence. I’m patient and respectful of each cat’s comfort level, whether that means engaging in interactive play or simply providing quiet companionship. I pay close attention to routines and details to ensure your cat feels secure and stress-free in their home environment :)

“Finding a trustworthy catsitter for senior pets, especially for a long trip, can be stressful, but Kathleen gave me complete peace of mind. Her care for my two elderly cats (The Grandpas) was impeccable and deeply compassionate. I was so touched to learn she brought them toys and played music to ensure they felt calm and comfortable in my absence. She's a true professional who clearly cares and loves cats. I recommend her without any hesitation – she's a true gem!”

“Etta does a great job. I’ve used her services several times now, and she really cares for the girls well with regards to feeding and playing with them. She even helps with cleaning their litter box and taking out the trash which for me is above and beyond. Very satisfied.”

“Stacey was wonderful! She truly went above and beyond to make sure our babies felt loved and safe. Stacey was great with communicating and made sure to reach out with any questions. She sent updates every day with pictures, and did more than we had asked (scooped the kitty litter every day, cleaned a bowl I had left in the sink, etc). This was the first time I had come home after having a pet sitter where my babies were obviously relaxed and happy, it was such a relief. I was able to enjoy my trip without being stressed about home. I will definitely work with Stacey again should the need arise.”

“I am very happy with the care provided to my cats. Yuki and Akira seemed really comfortable and playful. Yu-Wen was great about sending photos and giving me updates. I highly recommend him.”

A little more detail is that I am a responsible individual period, but I love dogs (my wife and I have two rescues) and I can guarantee peace of mind while you travel or take a break for taking care of your dog/s feeding, walking, playing and sharing lots of love. If you're interested in discussing how I can help also care for your home, please feel free to message me. I'm here to make your time away stress-free, knowing you have a responsible adult who loves dogs and is a homeowner himself in the Cambrian Park area of San Jose. I would follow all feeding instructions exactly as written or directed by a client and never feed my own dogs or a client's dog human food or snacks unless those are dog treats a client has asked me to feed their dogs.
“Katie was absolutely AMAZING with Dakota! This is my first time using Rover & I didn't worry in the slightest while I was away, and it was all because of Katie! She went ABOVE & BEYOND knowing I was a bit nervous leaving him! I look forward to using Katie in the future! EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION & ALWAYS KNEW HE WAS SAFE & BEING WELL CARED FOR!”

“Jesse is one of the few people who isn’t intimidated by a big dog. He is kind and calm and is very good with communication. Storm is cared for while in his care. I hope he’s ready to see a LOT more of us :)”

“Bhumi seems like a very nice woman, and I believe she takes care of Coco nicely and patiently. If she can send a text or a picture of Coco to show me how she is doing, that would help me feel more relaxed, especially at the beginning of the few times.”

“Trishalee was amazing. She saved me in a last minute pinch when I needed someone to watch my senior, deaf, and blind baby. She sent photos and was super kind and flexible. My baby came back happy, calm, tail wagging, relaxed—which says it all. I would absolutely trust her again. Thank you Trishalee!! From me & Mazel :)”

“Grace was exceptional in her care of our senior dog Chickee. Chickee loves being outside, so Grace allowed ample patio time including taking Chickee for a walk in the neighborhood. Chickee's daily routine involves some eye meds. Grace followed the instructions perfectly to keep the meds. on schedule. Grace also kept a watchful eye on Chickee when other dogs were near (due to her small size). Grace was also flexible with my schedule by allowing a 1/2 hr. window for drop off and pick-up. I would absolutely recommend Grace's pet services to other owners. -Lisa P.”

About: I grew up with many dogs and various animals. I love dogs! I often care for my friends and families dogs when they are away. You can relax knowing that your dog will get lots of attention, cuddles, and walks when they are in my care. I am a teacher off for the summer so I have lots of free time. I go back to work mid-August. Once the school year starts up I am still available for dog/pet sitting too. I strive to create a routine that is similar to yours. I want your dog to feel safe and calm while in my care. I will follow your feeding schedule as well as and other details necessary.
“So delighted to find Madhumita. Her quiet affectionate calm and patience letting my dog, who has a trauma history, come our of his shell was just what he needed to feel comfortable. Her elderly lab is also a friendly, calm, and reassuring presence. So happy to see my pup relax and make himself at home-- in her home!”

“Samie loved staying with Krystal! Krystal was very communicative and sent pictures throughout the day. Samie usually takes a while to warm up to people, but by the second day, she was wagging her tail and barking as we pulled up! We will be working with Krystal again soon. :)”

“We had a dinner party and needed a pet sitter for Cache fo just a few hours in the evening. Steve was accommodating of our schedule and welcomed Cache into his and Mya's home. Steve was confident, friendly, and engaging with Cache. Cache enjoyed long walks and playtime with Steve and Mya. Cache returned home exercised and ready to rest after his active play date. We will definitely call on Steve again for doggy day care!”

“Our dog had a good day with Joshua and Evangeline! They are nice people and sent cute pictures of the dog. I appreciated that they were able to accept a fairly last-minute care request too.”

“Ahiram took very good care of my dog & sent updates & photos. I was nervous at first because this is my first time leaving him with someone else but the updates kept me at peace. He was in very good spirits when I picked him up. Left my dog in great paws. 🐾”

“I contacted Eris on very short notice for day care due to a last minute event and I did not want to leave my puppy Blue alone for more than 8 hours. She responded quickly and we did meet and greet on the same day. Blue is very energetic and friendly and got along with her dogs and the other puppy she was boarding. She kept me updated on their walks and play times through videos and pictures. I am very happy with her amazing attention to detail and care for my pup! I will definitely consider her for future services. Thanks again!”

About: I’ve had a dog for 10 years and spent time volunteering in dog shelters, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all personalities. I’m patient, experienced, and always focused on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment for your dog. I provide constant care which means during boarding or doggy daycare I won't leave dog alone for more than 2-3 hours. My schedule allows me to walk with dog several times during the day and let the dog out for potty breaks in the backyard between walks. I follow your pet routine and any special instructions from owners. I'll always send updates with photos so you know your pet is doing well.
“My 7 month puppy stayed with Cristina over the day. I can only say good things about the experience. Hazel was happy when I picked her up and it was fun with a doggy friend. Cristina seems to really love dogs and was sending updates and really seemed to care about Hazel. She also took her to the park. I liked Cristina’s warm and positive personality. Will book again”

“Natasha was wonderful! I just moved to the area and she was able to accommodate me last minute! My puppy is very high energy and she kept her busy! She came back exhausted from the day but very happy! Natasha was kind to send me pictures and updates throughout the day! I would definitely not hesitate to have my baby girl stay with her again!”

About: Pets have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. There's always been a cat curled up somewhere or a dog waiting by the door, and taking care of them has never felt like a chore to me. It's just what I do. I work from home, so I'm around a lot during the day and can usually work around your schedule, even for midday visits or last-minute plans. If I'm looking after your pet, you'll hear from me. I like sending updates and photos so you actually get to see how your dog or cat is doing, not just a generic "all good" message. I'm new to Rover, but pets have never been new to me. I'll take care of yours the way I'd want someone to take care of my own. I work remotely, which means I'm home most days and have some flexibility built into my schedule. I can usually fit in midday drop-ins, walks between meetings, or last-minute visits that a lot of sitters with traditional 9-to-5 jobs can't accommodate. Afternoons and evenings tend to be my most open windows, but I'm generally easy to reach and can adjust as needed. I treat your space and your pet's routine with respect. I follow the feeding, medication, and care instructions you provide exactly as given, and I keep your home secure the whole time I'm there. I pay close attention to your pet's body language and comfort level, especially with cats or nervous dogs who need a little more patience before they warm up to someone new. If anything seems off with your pet or your home while I'm there, I'll let you know right away.
“It was so nice to have Danielle walk and play with my puppy while I was at work. I was relieved knowing Luna was in good hands. Danielle came at the agreed upon time and took Luna for engaging neighborhood walks.”

About: I’ve been dog sitting, walking, and providing overnight care for several years, working with dogs of all sizes—from Chihuahuas to Great Dane mixes. I’m comfortable with energetic, playful dogs as well as shy or fearful pups who need patience and reassurance. For the past several months, I’ve taken shelter dogs on field trips through County of Santa Clara Animal Services, where I’ve gained experience handling dogs in new environments, on hikes, and in stimulating settings. This has strengthened my leash handling, situational awareness, and ability to read canine body language. I also have experience with both senior dogs and puppies. I understand that seniors may need a slower pace and gentle care, while puppies require consistency, structure, and positive reinforcement. My goal is always to make your dog feel safe, exercised, and loved while you’re away :) As a student, I have a structured but flexible schedule which allows me to consistently fit pet care into my daily routine. I’m typically available for morning, midday, and evening drop-in visits, and I plan my class schedule to allow time for reliable pet care commitments. Pet care fits naturally into my week—whether that means morning walks before class, midday drop-ins, or evening visits and overnights. I’m organized and intentional about managing my time, so I only accept bookings I can fully commit to. On weekends, I have even greater flexibility for longer visits, extended stays, or multiple drop-ins per day. I prioritize clear communication and reliability so you can feel confident your pet is in consistent, attentive care! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, walk routes, house rules, and any specific behavioral needs. Safety is always my top priority. I double-check doors, gates, and harnesses, remain attentive on walks, and closely monitor pets during visits. I’m mindful of potential hazards and ensure your home is left exactly as I found it—clean, secure, and respected. I also provide regular updates with photos and messages so you can feel connected and reassured while you’re away. I understand that trusting someone with your pet and home is a big responsibility, and I treat both with the highest level of care and respect.
“Sumaira is always on time and I know I can count on her to take good care of my fur babies. While walking my Siberian Husky another dog that was unleased attacked my dog. Sumaira safely got my girl home and check her out from head to toe. She promptly notified me that the husky was attacked, however alright. Sumaira let me know there was a little blood on her ear, however she did not appear to be injured. I myself have had another dog attack us when we were walking. Sumaira did the responsible thing and notified me and ensured my girl was alright. In this type of situation that is best can be accomplished and despite this incident I will ask Sumaira to walk her again.”

“Despite me making an appointment with very short notice, Mamoo was super responsive and suggested doing a meet & greet the same night I made the booking, to be ready for the walk the next morning. When they met, my dog, Hanoi, was pretty nervous, barking defensively for some reason, but Mamoo handled it to perfection, allowing Hanoi to control the interaction, without Mamoo losing the role of authority. Thanks for your dedication to making it work, even when Hanoi didn’t make it easy. 100% recommend.”

About: I grew up with a dog for 18 years, watching him go from playful pup to wise old boy. I have a flexible schedule at the moment, so I can adjust to you and your pet's needs! I Since I offer dog walking, most of my care happens out in the neighborhood. I always keep dogs secure on leash, stay attentive, and make sure every walk is safe and enjoyable.

“Sydney has walked my dog, Louis, on several occasions. His interaction with Louis is very positive and Louis is excited when Sydney comes. Sydney has always been on time and sends pictures during the walk to let me know that he has Louis. I definitely recommend Sydney!”

“Heidi is an excellent and professional dog walker. We appreciate her for taking care of our dog, cats and turtles when we were traveling, that’s lot of works but she’s done well. We would be very happy to recommend Heidi our friends.”

“Yaisa was awesome for walking Toko and Arya when I was away at work during the day! She showed up on time and would take them for a nice long walk through the neighborhood. My pups were surprisingly well behaved with her and I loved all the pictures she would send me! They always looked happier on days after she visited. I will definitely book again when I need someone to check in with them if I'm out on a day trip or any long work weeks.”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, growing up with both dogs and cats, and today I’m the proud dog mom to Leo, my 4 month old Siberian Husky. Caring for animals is something I genuinely love, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I have several years of experience house sitting and caring for pets while families are away. I previously worked as a nanny for a family and was also responsible for caring for their energetic Labrador, including daily walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure he received plenty of attention and exercise. That experience made me very comfortable handling large, high energy dogs. I also regularly care for my dad’s 3 year old German Shepherd/Husky, Luna, and have house sat for them on numerous occasions. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’m committed to providing reliable care so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand that every dog has a unique personality and needs. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your furry family member is in caring and dependable hands. I currently have a flexible schedule Monday through Friday, which allows me to easily accommodate pet care visits, walks, and check ins throughout the day. This flexibility means I can tailor my availability to each pet’s needs, whether that’s morning feedings, midday drop-ins, or evening care. Because of this open schedule, I’m able to give pets consistent attention and stick closely to their normal routines, which helps them feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I’m also able to adjust my day as needed to ensure reliable timing for feeding, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and companionship. Pet care naturally fits into my routine, and I prioritize it as a meaningful part of my week. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so incorporating visits and care throughout my day feels seamless and rewarding. I prefer to care for pets in their own home or take them on walks around their neighborhood, as I currently have my own young puppy at home. I find that pets are most comfortable and relaxed when they’re able to stay in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, consistent experience that mirrors their usual schedule. This includes feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning if needed, exercise, playtime, and plenty of companionship and attention based on each pet’s personality and comfort level. If in the future, it works out to where our animals get along with each other, I would not mind making a special arrangements to care for your animal at my home. For dogs, I enjoy structured walks around their neighborhood so they can feel secure in familiar surroundings while still getting the exercise and enrichment they need. For cats and other pets, I make sure their environment stays clean, calm, and stress-free while they receive attentive care. My goal is always to provide reliable, in home care that keeps pets comfortable and helps owners feel confident while they’re away.

“Scott has been taking our dog on regular walks since October. He is always reliable, easy to communicate with, and sends lots of pics/info from the walks. I recommend him very highly. Look no further!”

“Julia was great! She took many wonderful, long walks with Hunter. She also played with him, took him to the dog park and spent extra time with him. We are extremely thankful that Julia and Hunter were able to bond and that Hunter was exercised while we were out of town. Julia came to our house everyday while we were on vacation and we appreciate all the extra time she spent with Hunter. He was very excited to see her when she came to drop off our house key and I could tell that she was very kind and caring. We will definitely call you again, Julia! Thank-you so much. Liz and Peter”

“Lanie and Family were great with Hunter! With updates throughout the stay, and knowing that Hunter was well taken care of! Hunter definitely showed he enjoyed his stay, quite relaxed and happy!”

“Robyn & her family were absolutely wonderful sitters for Clover! Clover had the best time hanging with their family, going on regular walks, swimming, playing with Jacoby, and getting loved on while we were away. We really appreciate all the updates throughout the weekend, which made our first Rover experience so great. Thank you Robyn!”

“Lana took great care of our golden Maggie over the Christmas holiday. Maggie had plenty of exercise at the nearby park and Lana provided great pics of Maggie throughout the course of the stay. Definitely recommend and will use again in the future.”

“My large dog Yeti can be prone to anxiety, but looked very comfortable and relaxed in Diane's care. She took him out several times on walks and also let Yeti explore her beautiful backyard. Diane also sent detailed updates with photos and was very kind when I messaged that I was running a little late. Thanks again for watching Yeti!”

“Christopher and his wife took such great care of our dog Zoey while we were away. We got text updates on how she was doing and photos and videos too! It helped us feel at ease knowing she was well taken care of. The meet and greet before hand helped to confirm our decision to book with them and we are so glad we did!”

“Karri, Michael and Hank were incredible! They treated my dog like a member of their family. The daily pictures and updates reassured me that my dog was having a great time. Karri and Michael really pay attention to the details and went above and beyond to make both me and my dog feel comfortable. My family and I ran into some travel delays and they were so wonderful and accommodating, they watched my dog an extra night without question. Their dog Hank is my dog's new best friend! Thank you guys so much!”

“Gimli's stay with Olga was great! Olga made sure everything was ready to go when we arrived, and was punctual with consistent updates while we were away. I would highly recommend Olga to others looking for a dog sitter for extended time away!”

“Zuko had a great time with Brian. He got multiple walks a day and a lot of play time at home. I got multiple updates with pictures throughout the day. It was reassuring to see that Zuko was well loved and was enjoying his time.”
