“What an amazing experience. Rachel is passionate about her job, and provides a stellar service for both the pups she takes in, and the people she helps! Our boy had the BEST time and came back so happy. We intend to continue using Rachel, and couldn’t recommend her more for Silicon Valley pup needs!!”

“First time Rover user and I liked Natasha’s profile. I left him for a couple of hours and Buddie seemed to really enjoy himself with his new friends. Natasha sent me some pictures and my pup was happy! Thank you Natasha and looking forward to our next visit!”

“We had such a wonderful experience leaving our dog with Megha! They took amazing care of him and made sure he felt comfortable and happy throughout his stay. We really appreciated the regular updates about everything — his walks, sleep, how he was doing, and how well he was settling into their space. Their whole family was so kind and caring, and it was clear that our dog was treated like part of their family. They were also very responsive, flexible, and accommodating with our schedule, which made the whole experience stress-free for us. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to take care of their dog. We would definitely feel comfortable leaving our dog with them again!”

“Bill and his family were a great host to my dog! She had a great time and coming back home very happy. They took her to the park and walk and play with her, and give her shower. Will definitely recommend Bill and rebook with him.”

“Malika was an amazing cat sitter for Gigi! Gigi is very shy and cautious around new people, but Malika was very patient and knew how to help her feel comfortable. Gigi is also a 16 year old senior cat with a more specific feeding routine, and Malika followed everything carefully. She sent regular updates a few times a day which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Malika was communicative and very knowledgeable about cats. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter!”

“Juliana took good care of Zonic, and she sent many photos of him throughout his stay there. Zonic went for a long hike too, and we are pleased with her service.”

“This was our first time using Kimberly’s services for our chihuahua terrier, Zoe. Kimberly was excellent and took good care of Zoe and sent us regular updates and pictures. Zoe seemed very comfortable and happy. Highly recommended!!”

“Brian, took very good care with my dog Vera. Ask questions about Vera likes and dislikes during dog walks. They treated Vera as a member of their family. I would recommend Brian for dog sitting, knowing that Vera is being taking care of with love.”

“Gary and Monica are two amazing people and dog-sitters! We have had them watch our 3 year old Australian Shepherd a few times now and each time we have have so happy with how things have gone - we receive texts and pictures to update us on how our dog is doing, they are very flexible with timing, always quick to respond and it's very clear that they love dogs... and dogs love them back!”

“Anusha took care of our 1 year old puppy when we were in vacation. She kept us informed everyday with lot of pictures. Zoey came home very calm and relaxed as she got enough play time with the whole family and lot of love. She also got a goody bag 😃. Thanks a lot Anusha.”

“I would definitly have Jaime watch Doug again! She sent us a lit of photos and from the looks of it- Doug had a blast with the other playmates too! Thank you for taking such great care of our high energy dog!!”

“Alma is a very good pet sitter. She watched my dog for one week. She was very kind and took my dog for walks. She talked to me every day when I sent her messages. She also sent me pictures and videos of my dog. Our plane got in very late, but Alma was happy to work with our times. She is a nice person and a good pet sitter.”

“Grace and her family were wonderful sitters for our dog, Kirby. Grace did all that she could to make Kirby feel comfortable in her home, and sent us routine updates on Kirby's meals and walks in addition to a lot of great photos. We felt really comfortable leaving Kirby with Grace and will definitely reach out to her again. Thanks, Grace!”

“Queenie and her husband took such good care of my dog, Eevee, for two weeks! She was responsive, thoughtful, and made sure Eevee felt at home and had a great time. Eevee also had a blast playing with their sweet pup, Summer. Highly recommend Queenie to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter!”

“Sadie and Ben really enjoy their time with Todd and Lucky. Todd was great about keeping us updated with pictures and how the dog’s day went. It meant a lot to know they were well cared for while we were away.”

“Lucy, Thank you once again for taking excellent care of Hazel. Your girls are so sweet towards her, and it warms our heart knowing that our beloved pup still receives love and affection even when we have to leave her. Thank you!!!”

“Yoona and Minjae are amazing with our senior dog Lucky. He gets a ton of stimulation throughout the day, it is a lot of fun for him. He enjoys Buddy as well, they seem like a great pair. We hope to continue booking with them again and again!”

“Our Coco loved her stay with Jason. She had such a good time getting so much attention and spending time outside. The regular updates were great and we could truly enjoy our vacation. It is quite difficult to find someone who is good with reactive dogs. Our Coco is fine with other dogs, just not in the same house. So it was important to find someone who only takes one dog at a time. Jason loves dogs, takes such good care of them and we will definitely become repeat customers.”

“My babies enjoyed their stay with Shavonne and will definitely be back! She took great care of them both, and had no trouble with my problem child (has high anxiety). Thank you for making it easy to relax while we were away ❤️?”

About: I have lived with animals (mostly dogs and one cat) my entire life. I started off with taking care of my own dogs and then volunteered at shelters throughout high school and undergraduate school. I have house sat and animal sat for friends and family off and on since 2022. I've watched over a range of animal personalities from very excitable and energetic to reactive and anxious. I also find it very important to maintain grooming, hygiene, and activity/mental stimulation for your pets. I do not have experience with dog training, however, I have successfully trained my own dogs with basic commands. I moved out to the Bay Area 2 years ago to be a full-time PhD student at Palo Alto University. While I do have work and school, I am remote most days in the week (Thursday through Monday), so I can dedicate the time and care your pet needs :) I appreciate having an average schedule including times they go outside, walks, feeding, and hygiene so I can help your pet have as smooth of a transition as possible. I tend to follow your pet's cues and slowly build the trust between us. I love giving them affection while maintaining the training and expectations you have. I like to take pictures and/or videos for you so you can get your daily dose of your pet!
“Elise is the best! I’ve booked her service several times and is always consistent. She’s caring, reliable, and very competent. Thank you for taking such good care of my cat, Elise!”

About: Cats have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I've spent years watching cats for friends and family, from easygoing lap cats to the shy ones who take a while to trust anyone new. I know cats aren't all the same, some want attention right away, others need space and time, and I pay attention to what each individual cat actually wants rather than treating them all the same way. I currently have my own cat, Lucy, so I understand the day-to-day of feeding schedules, litter box habits, and reading a cat's mood. If something seems off, I'll notice and let you know. I'm new to Rover, but cats have never been new to me.

“Etta was great. She took good care of my cats during her visits with regard to feeding them and playing with them. She also helped with cleaning and vacuuming around their litter box, taking in my mail, and watering my plants. She went above and beyond.”

“We were leaving abroad for about two months. I’m very grateful to have found Weichen on Rover to take care of my cat. Weichen was very easy to communicate with and always thoughtful and considerate throughout the entire time. I really appreciated the care and attention given to my cat, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. I’m very grateful for the help and would absolutely trust Weichen to take care of my cat again in the future. I highly recommend Weichen to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter on Rover.”

“Debbie went above and beyond watching our two fur babies. If Lupini & Truffle could leave 10/5 stars they would! She loved and cared for them like they were her own. We are so lucky to have found Debbie!”

“Hu-wen is easy to communicate with. He replies in a timely manner and is extremely reliable. He took good care of our cat (who is very spoiled and doesn’t like to be left alone). We received photos and updates and everything was done as agreed on. I can only recommend :)”

“I can't recommend Carina enough! My cats, who are sometimes shy, come out to greet her and even pose for the adorable photos she takes during her visits. It's clear they feel comfortable in her presence, which gives me peace of mind know that they are being cared for by her.”

“Helen is a loving and caring person and it shows in how she took care of our cat “Jax”. She followed all our instructions to the tee and provided “daily” pix/video of Jax, that was such a “nice touch”. Professional and sweet of her! Jax was really “on vacation” in an air b n b. Didn’t want to leave when I picked him up. There’s no doubt that we will use her again soon.”

About: I have 2 dogs that are the absolute loves of my life. I’ve had dogs my whole life and always watch friends dogs and provide exceptional care! What can I say, I like dogs more than people!! I have a flexible work from home schedule and a large flat fenced yard. I love to take dogs for hikes and walks and provide food, pets and care as needed! I am very attuned and aware of dogs. If something seems off, I will take immediate action. I ensure food and treat schedules are adhered to and overall will just love and cuddle and pet and walk your dog! I’m super kind and believe dogs are the kindest souls on earth.

“Mahsa was so amazing with my senior cat, Nori! She sent daily pics and videos along with updates about how she was doing. Nori settled in so quickly with Mahsa, which was such a relief when I was out of town. Would highly recommend Mahsa for your cat-boarding needs!”

“Teresa watched my 2 kitties for a week over the Christmas holiday. She took care of them as if they were her own; lots of love and care plus daily picture check ins! I am so thankful I could have peace of mind during my trip. Teresa is definitely my new go to!”

“Grace was SO caring for my puppy and sent me pictures constantly throughout the day. She brushed his hair and taught him some commands, and went above and beyond what was expected for his daycare. I will not hesitate to leave my puppy with Grace in the future. Thank you so much Grace!”

“Megha and Avi are the absolute best! Barfi is icing on the cake 🙂 This was Luna’s first day care visit ever. I was anxious about how she would do without me, but Megha and Avi made her feel right at home. They kept me updated about her with pics and videos. Gave me a report when I went to pick her up which was insightful. She had such a great time, and even came home with a bandanna! I would definitely go back with them and recommend them to other pet parents”

“I am so grateful to have found Soyoung through Rover! My 8-month old puppy, Archie, had a great time with her at doggy day care while I was in town for work. He had fun playing, going for walks, and zooming up and down her stairs. I loved getting his daily report cards, and he was absolutely exhausted and calm by the time we got back to the hotel in the evenings. I'm thrilled that I can take him with me for work travel because we now have a trusted sitter to rely on. I'm looking forward to future trips to the SCV area so we can book with Soyoung again.”

“Diana is awesome! Our dog had a great time and felt that we set up the right foundation before day care during our meet and greet to confirm that everyone was a good fit.”

“Bhumi seems like a very nice woman, and I believe she takes care of Coco nicely and patiently. If she can send a text or a picture of Coco to show me how she is doing, that would help me feel more relaxed, especially at the beginning of the few times.”

“Courtney took such great care of Otto! She sent me lots of pictures throughout the day and even gave him a bath for me! He came come squeaky clean, happy, and tired.”

“Jennifer was great at communicating and our dog, Meeko, seemed to have a great time spending the day with her. Meeko has separation distress and is generally anxious especially in new environments. Jessica took him for walks, several potty breaks, to the local park and even to a restaurant! He seemed calm and not stressed when we picked him up. We liked that he was exposed to new environments at his pace and that we received updates throughout the day.”

“So delighted to find Madhumita. Her quiet affectionate calm and patience letting my dog, who has a trauma history, come our of his shell was just what he needed to feel comfortable. Her elderly lab is also a friendly, calm, and reassuring presence. So happy to see my pup relax and make himself at home-- in her home!”

“Serena is amazing with Doug and Eddy. She's attentive and always on time, and thanks to her my dogs have a great morning every single day. I couldn't ask for a more reliable dog sitter.”

About: I grew up with a dog for 18 years, watching him go from playful pup to wise old boy. I've experienced every stage of a dog's life firsthand — young, middle-aged, and senior — so I'm comfortable and caring no matter your dog's age I am able to walk dogs and do drop-in visits. I have a flexible schedule at the moment, so I can adjust to you and your pet's needs! I Since I offer dog walking, most of my care happens out in the neighborhood. I always keep dogs secure on leash, stay attentive, and make sure every walk is safe and enjoyable.

About: Hi! My name is Megan, and I'm a college student home for the summer with a flexible schedule thanks to my online classes. I'm a huge animal lover—especially cats—which is why you'll notice a lot of my photos are with cats! I've been caring for my mom's boss's cats for the past 1–2 years, and I've also helped care for and walk my friends' dogs. On top of that, I've owned guinea pigs for over 5 years, so I'm comfortable caring for pets of all kinds. I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. I may be younger than some sitters, but I'm dependable, patient, and genuinely excited to gain more experience doing something I love. Pet sitting is also helping me fund my college education, so I truly appreciate every pet parent, their booking, and the trust that comes with it. When your pet is with me, I'll treat them like they're my own. I'll follow your instructions carefully, keep their routine consistent, and send plenty of photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I’m a very active person in my daily life, so I will have no issues with walking, carrying, or other high energy activities I may need to do with your pet! I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family members, thanks for considering me! I’m currently enrolled in online classes for college, which only take place in the afternoons and gives me a lot of free time in the mornings and evenings. My weekends are also completely free. I keep my schedule organized and am happy to work with pet owners to find times that fit both our schedules. I communicate clearly, plan ahead, and do my best to be as flexible and accommodating as possible to provide reliable care for your pets. I always do my best to maintain every pet’s daily routine to make them feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away.. Whether I'm caring for your pet in your home for an extended period of time or stopping by for quick visits, I’ll follow your instructions carefully regarding feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and anything else you need. I believe every pet deserves patience, attention, and plenty of love, and I'll make sure they are well cared for. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you are aware of what your pet is up to, and to give you a little peace of mind while you’re away from them!

About: Pets have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. There's always been a cat curled up somewhere or a dog waiting by the door, and taking care of them has never felt like a chore to me. It's just what I do. I work from home, so I'm around a lot during the day and can usually work around your schedule, even for midday visits or last-minute plans. If I'm looking after your pet, you'll hear from me. I like sending updates and photos so you actually get to see how your dog or cat is doing, not just a generic "all good" message. I'm new to Rover, but pets have never been new to me. I'll take care of yours the way I'd want someone to take care of my own. I work remotely, which means I'm home most days and have some flexibility built into my schedule. I can usually fit in midday drop-ins, walks between meetings, or last-minute visits that a lot of sitters with traditional 9-to-5 jobs can't accommodate. Afternoons and evenings tend to be my most open windows, but I'm generally easy to reach and can adjust as needed. I treat your space and your pet's routine with respect. I follow the feeding, medication, and care instructions you provide exactly as given, and I keep your home secure the whole time I'm there. I pay close attention to your pet's body language and comfort level, especially with cats or nervous dogs who need a little more patience before they warm up to someone new. If anything seems off with your pet or your home while I'm there, I'll let you know right away.

“Sydney has walked my dog, Louis, on several occasions. His interaction with Louis is very positive and Louis is excited when Sydney comes. Sydney has always been on time and sends pictures during the walk to let me know that he has Louis. I definitely recommend Sydney!”

“Sumaira is always on time and I know I can count on her to take good care of my fur babies. While walking my Siberian Husky another dog that was unleased attacked my dog. Sumaira safely got my girl home and check her out from head to toe. She promptly notified me that the husky was attacked, however alright. Sumaira let me know there was a little blood on her ear, however she did not appear to be injured. I myself have had another dog attack us when we were walking. Sumaira did the responsible thing and notified me and ensured my girl was alright. In this type of situation that is best can be accomplished and despite this incident I will ask Sumaira to walk her again.”

“Despite me making an appointment with very short notice, Mamoo was super responsive and suggested doing a meet & greet the same night I made the booking, to be ready for the walk the next morning. When they met, my dog, Hanoi, was pretty nervous, barking defensively for some reason, but Mamoo handled it to perfection, allowing Hanoi to control the interaction, without Mamoo losing the role of authority. Thanks for your dedication to making it work, even when Hanoi didn’t make it easy. 100% recommend.”

About: * Long walks, happy paws, and loving care. * Where every walk feels like an adventure. * Treating your pets like they’re my own. * Making tails wag and pet parents smile. * Trusted pet care with a lifelong love of animals. After recently retiring, I now have the freedom to spend my time caring for pets. Staying active is important to me, and my daily 4-mile walks make me a great companion for dogs who enjoy exercise, adventure, and lots of attention. I specialize in drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting at your home so your pets can stay where they feel most at ease.
About: Hi, I’m Ivory — a lifelong animal lover with over 30 years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all kinds. I’m currently in nursing, and compassion, patience, and gentle care guide everything I do — for both two-legged humans and four-pawed family members. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, goats, sheep, rabbits, ducks, and livestock, including experience with breeding and newborn care. I’ve raised puppies, helped train a guide dog for the blind, and spent 12 years in 4-H, learning responsibility, respect, and how deeply animals depend on the people who love them. One of my greatest loves was my Yorkie, Lil May Girl, who was by my side for 12 beautiful years. Today, my heart belongs to my 2-year-old Goldendoodle, Stella Bella — my joy, my daily companion, and a constant reminder of how special the human-animal bond truly is. 💛 I treat every animal as if they were my own, creating a calm, safe, and loving environment so your pets feel secure, happy, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. I know how hard it is to trust another to care for your loved ones…they will always be in the best loving hands! I would be honored to care for your furry family. 🐾💕 Because I work in travel nursing, I have the ability to choose my own contracts and shifts, which gives me flexibility and control over my schedule. This allows me to intentionally open availability for pet care and easily accommodate bookings. When I commit to caring for your pets, my schedule is arranged so I can be fully present and attentive to your loving paws, whether for daily visits or weekly care. If you want it even more relaxed and conversational, or slightly more professional, I can adjust the tone—but this version builds trust and removes scheduling concerns right away 🐾💛 I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment in my home or yours, following your pet’s routines closely. I offer bathing, light grooming, medication administration, and special-care support. Basic training reinforcement is also available for an additional charge when time allows. If you want it slightly warmer, more detailed, or more structured, I can tweak it—but this version fits Rover perfectly and builds strong trust right away 🐾💛

“Heidi is an excellent and professional dog walker. We appreciate her for taking care of our dog, cats and turtles when we were traveling, that’s lot of works but she’s done well. We would be very happy to recommend Heidi our friends.”

I make time each day for feeding, walks, playtime, exercise, and giving pets the attention they need. I plan my schedule to make sure they receive consistent care, whether that's sticking to their routine, providing companionship, or making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I care for every pet as if they were my own by following their normal routine and any instructions provided by the owner. I make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of exercise and playtime, bathroom breaks, and lots of attention and affection. I also keep their environment clean, monitor their well-being, and provide updates with photos so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for.
“Yaisa was awesome for walking Toko and Arya when I was away at work during the day! She showed up on time and would take them for a nice long walk through the neighborhood. My pups were surprisingly well behaved with her and I loved all the pictures she would send me! They always looked happier on days after she visited. I will definitely book again when I need someone to check in with them if I'm out on a day trip or any long work weeks.”

“Scott is awesome! We are so thankful to have found him! Our dog recently was put on new medication and needs potty breaks more frequently, he's also older so he's either highly energetic or a bit slow. Scott is very attentive and patient with him and always communicates to us his demeanor and temperament on the walk. He really cares about our dog and is an immense pleasure to have as our dog walker!”

“Jill is great! She comes to our apartment at 1 during the weekdays to let our qtip out and play with him, and sends updates at the end of each visit. We are so happy that we found someone we can trust and are comfortable with to take care of our 4 month old puppy. When jill came for the meet and greet qtip ran right up to her and was clearly comfortable and not scared at all. Would recommend jill in a heartbeat.”

“Sadie and Ben really enjoy their time with Todd and Lucky. Todd was great about keeping us updated with pictures and how the dog’s day went. It meant a lot to know they were well cared for while we were away.”

About: I’ve always loved animals, and caring for them is something that genuinely brings me joy. In addition to raising my own pets, I’ve also helped many friends care for their dogs while they were away, so looking after other people’s pets isn’t new to me. I currently have two rescue dogs and one cat, and they’re truly part of my family. Because of them, I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and little quirks, and I love getting to know what makes each one special. My dogs are medium to large breeds (about 50 lbs and 100 lbs), so I’m very comfortable handling bigger, energetic dogs during walks and playtime. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, including Bichons, Labrador Retrievers, Samoyeds, Huskies, and other breeds. One thing that sets me apart is that I don’t just “watch” pets—I genuinely love spending time with them. Whether we’re going for a walk, playing fetch, cuddling on the couch, or simply relaxing together, I treat every dog and cat like they’re part of my own little family. Seeing them happy is one of the best parts of my day. I also love taking photos and videos of all their adorable moments and sharing regular updates, so you’ll always know your furry family member is safe, happy, and having a great time. In my free time, I volunteer at a local animal shelter because spending time with animals is something I’m truly passionate about. Since I’m currently home full-time, your pet will receive plenty of attention, companionship, exercise, and care throughout the day. My goal is simple: I want your pet to feel loved, comfortable, and at home while you’re away, and I want you to have complete peace of mind knowing they’re being cared for just like one of my own. I'm currently not employed so my schedule is very flexible, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. Since i'm home throughout the day, your dog will have lots of companionship, playtime, potty breaks and exericse. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their normal routine as much as possible. In my home, your pet will have plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day since I’m home most of the time. I live in an apartment with a private patio where we can enjoy some outdoor time and play games like fetch. We also have a convenient dog potty area just a short walk away, making bathroom breaks easy and frequent. For dogs that enjoy exercise and socializing, I’m also close to a community dog park and can take them there with your permission. If your dog prefers quieter walks or isn’t comfortable around other dogs, I’m equally happy to provide individual walks and one-on-one playtime instead. My two friendly rescue dogs love meeting new friends and make wonderful playmates for social dogs. However, I always prioritize every dog’s comfort and personality, and I’ll introduce dogs carefully and only if everyone is comfortable. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll follow your routines and instructions closely to help your pet feel relaxed in their familiar environment. I’ll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can enjoy seeing how your furry family member is doing while you’re away.

“Bruno & Katie were so good to work with! Very responsive, always sharing pictures and updates, and on top of that Jojo is a very well trained dog. Starki had a great time with them!”

“Nabil took wonderful care of Raisin for two days. It was Raisin’s first time staying away from home, so we were a little nervous, but Nabil and Sunny made her feel comfortable and safe. She quickly warmed up to them, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that she was well cared for and treated with kindness. We truly appreciated the updates and the loving care Raisin received. I would highly recommend Nabil to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter!”

“Our pet was well taken care of. He seemed happy. He had lots of place to run around since they have a nice backyard. It was his first time socializing and boarding with other dogs and they made sure he was fine with all. Our pet didn't seem like he wanted to come back when we went to pick him up 😂 he surely misses his stay with them. I would 100 % recommend anyone to board your pets here. Nice and very clean place too. Norelvis and her husband is very kind and understanding. Great human beings!”

“Robin and her family took amazing care of our 7 year old lab, making her part of their routine and family from walks to car rides and even church! Really can't say enough good things about our pup's stay, we will absolutely be asking Robin for dog watching in the future if they're avalable.”

“Best Rover couple ever! They took care of Baxter for almost 3 weeks and sent pics and comments multiple times a day. So we had total peace of mind. Needless to say, he wasn’t sure he wanted to leave. Lots of walks, snuggles, and patience. Thank you Carol and Terry.”

“Son and family were great to board Oreo with. He was happy and well exercised when he got back. Son sent us pictures and kept us updated on his escapades and he recieved love and attention from all members of the family!”

“Huimin did a great job taking care of our doggo while we were out of town. She made our dog feel welcome and accommodated her complicated breakfast and dinner process and medications. She also provided regular updates and photos of our dog which reassured us that our dog was in great hands! Would recommend Huimin for anyone who needs a dogsitter.”
