About: I have supported my wife in watching animals on Rover but recently took the jump to make my own profile on Rover! I have professionally cared for dogs on Rover since 2017. From pet boarding in our home to house sitting in the homes of others, I have professionally cared for pups of all ages- from puppies to senior dogs. My wife and I have two goldendoodles (8 and 6 years old). Growing up, my family has fostered many dogs and so I have experience with various breeds and pups with special needs. Currently I am taking classes to further my education and work a flexible schedule professionally reffing soccer games which are usually one to two hours in length. I live an active lifestyle but also love to have relaxing days depending on your dog’s needs. I understand how much trust goes into having someone else care for your furbaby let alone opening up your own home. I treat the home I come into with respect and follow any rules and cultural considerations for any homes I enter. I respect rules set by you and my main priority is to keep the dog(s) I am watching on their normal schedule until their humans are back home!
“Zhi is phenomenal ! She took care of our two dogs for a week at our home. They enjoyed time with her spoiling them with treats and plenty of attention. Our older dog requires a little more care and Zhi did just that. She was so kind and caring to him, he truly loved her attention. Our younger dog has separation anxiety, Zhi was very attentive to him. He loved the walks she took him on. He loved her so much that when she left for a bit his howling made my neighbors worried lol. All in all, Zhi is an exemplar dog sitter. How she cared for our doggies and kept our home clean and tidy was well beyond expectation. Thank you Zhi ! Ollie misses you already.”

“Elizabeth stayed with my Pomeranians for most of November due to work travel and then a personal trip over Thanksgiving. I always hate being away from my pups, but after the first two short stays for my business trips, I felt really good about being far away for 10 days over Thanksgiving, knowing they were in good hands. As always, Elizabeth was communicative, responsive and I could really tell she was getting to know their personalities and quirks. She also sent really fun updates, with a bit of humor and witty writing, but even better, the stories she texted me about were spot on with how they behave as a little pack. In addition, after her stay, I was putting harnesses on them to go on a walk, I noticed that my 9 month old pup Evie, who always ran around crazy when it was walk time and wouldn’t let me put her harness on, was coming up to me to get her harness put on. So, not only did she take good care of them, she somehow got Evie to understand how to put her harness on, and that chase was not part of that process. I’ll be forever grateful for whatever magic she did to get Evie to want to put on her harness! I will absolutely use Elizabeth again and highly recommend her to stay with your pets while on vacation or business travel.”
“Niva is truly exceptional — we cannot recommend her enough! She took care of our 2.5-year-old cat for an entire month, and from the very beginning, she was absolutely wonderful. Despite accepting our request on short notice, she showed up with full commitment, not only caring for our cat with incredible attention and love but also looking after our home as if it were her own. Niva is an excellent communicator — proactive, thoughtful, and consistently keeping us updated with daily photos and messages that gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear she took the time to deeply understand our cat’s personality and needs, asking insightful questions and going above and beyond to ensure comfort and happiness. On top of everything, she handled deliveries, collected mail, looked after our plants, and left our home in a pristine condition. Niva was truly a godsend. Nicole was fantastic. She took care of our senior dog and two cats and all three were doing great when we returned. She took time and care with each animal, especially with our skittish cat who is very frightened of new people. Our house looked fantastic when we returned, Nicole had even changed the sheets and washed her towels! And she stayed in constant communication with us, sending pictures all the time. We highly recommend Nicole and will definitely use her again in the future.
Ben was great. He cared for Sophie, our high-energy German Shepherd mix for 10 days, in our home. He took great care of Sophie, and she liked him immediately. He did everything exactly as we asked, and took good care of our home as well. He sent photos of their walks and playtime every day, and always made us comfortable that things were going well. Marilese just spent a little over a week with our beloved boy Jacoby. Jacoby is a 6 year old black labrador. Marilese took very good care of our Jacoby and he was showered with love and presents and treats...the direct way to his heart. Sharon is the BEST!!! She provided prompt communication, several pics and videos of our pups, and took wonderful care of them!! She even vacuumed the pile of dog hair I usually come home to, took out the trash, and left the house as she found it!! She is 10/10 and I would absolutely recommend her!!
Jacquie is excellent! Right off the bat, our pup loved her vibe and was drawn to her. At our meet and greet, she was prompt, personable and genuine. Over the course of our trip, we received daily updates and photos, and Jacquie made sure to check-in if there was something we hadn’t explained or something came up that was off-schedule. She even brought our sweet girl to Thanksgiving with her family, so she wouldn’t be lonely. We will definitely book with Jacquie again!
Renin is the best of the best. Our dog Bandit (who has huge separation anxiety) just loves her. Renin kept us up to date with regular photos of Bandit looking as happy and pampered as ever. And she left the house spotless when she left. Could not recommend her more highly.

Sydney was absolutely fantastic. He went above and beyond to take care of our dog and our home and we were very pleased with his services. He provided consistent and helpful updates and pictures and we could tell our dog was having a really great time going on walks, playing, and hanging out. Maddie was terrific! We had a last minute cancellation of our regular dog sitter, Maddie was able to make an adjustment and care for our dogs while we were out of town for a weekend. The dogs definitely adored her, she sent numerous updates and photos along the way. One of our dogs is a senior, she has a couple medications and play restrictions. Maddie did a great job caring for her special needs. Our home was left in great condition as well, we will definitely schedule Maddie again and highly recommend her.
Ashley is just the best! Having her taking care of our little zoo makes me want to plan our next trip simply because I know the critters are cared for so completely and spoiled as much as they are when we are home. She sent regular updates, photos and videos and even worked around our anti-social kitty who wanted to be extra elusive 😂 Banjo adored his daily walks and having her to snuggle with back at home. I didn’t worry or stress at all which added another layer of relaxation to our vacation.
