About: I had my Maltese, Solomon, for 12 wonderful years and cared for him throughout every stage of his life, including his senior years. He recently passed away, and while I’m not ready for another dog of my own yet, I really miss having dogs in my life and would love the opportunity to care for yours. I’m experienced with senior dogs, medications, feeding routines, walks, and dogs who need a little extra patience and attention. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone, and I’ll care for them with the same love and attention I gave Solomon. Schedule: I’ll only care for one dog at a time, so your pup will have my full attention. I live right by two parks, so I can provide plenty of walks, outdoor time, and potty breaks throughout the day. When your dog is staying with me, I will be home with them at all times and will not leave them alone. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my priority. I only accept one dog at a time so I can provide individualized care and constant supervision. Your dog will never be left home alone while in my care. This was our first time using Claire and she was great! We left a bunch of instructions for her and she took the time to read through them and from what we could tell, Momo had an awesome time with her :) It was very hot during this time and she made sure Momo had fresh water and had her normal potty times/walks but didn't overdue it. Claire sent us a bunch of cute photos everyday and that gave us an ease of mind to know that Momo was happy and wasn't missing us as much. Claire is also the dog photo whisperer because Momo usually hates photos and will turn her head away, but not with Claire! She was also very communicative of any issues that came up such as Momo's chaffing due to her harness. Since Claire house sat for us, when we got back the place was clean just as we left it and she was also on the look out for my package so I really appreciated that. Katie went above and beyond after our first house sitting experience with her this past week! She provided daily updates with plenty of photos of our dog, Ritz, while we were away which was so amazing and much appreciated as we didn’t need to worry about how their days were going together! Our dog is reactive and hesitant to strangers so leaving him this trip was a big step for us, but as his first day with Katie went by, he really warmed up to her and became comfortable which gave us a big relief as well! Katie and her boyfriend Preston are patient, caring and understanding! And also lovely photographers :) we got so many action shots of Ritz and that really helped us feel comfortable knowing he was being taken care of in great hands! They also left our house spotless once we returned :) We love Katie and Preston and Ritz will be excited for future visits with them!
Abby did an excellent job caring for my cat, Sherlock, this past weekend! She was very communicative leading up to and during the stay, which made me confident in her ability to care for him. She followed instructions well and provided me daily updates on his eating and litter habits. I came home to a clean apartment and a happy cat!
