Hi, I'm Jamie! I've had up to 4 years of professional dog and catsitting experience and have established great relationships with a few recurring families. I've also grown up around dogs for my entire upbringing and am used to their behaviors, mannerisms, and how to handle them. I've had years of experience as a nanny as well, so I'm well equipped to care for both humans and animals, and how much attentiveness it requires. I have experience with different breeds as well as dogs with different temperaments. (Some with higher energy levels and some more timid and anxious.) I love dogs of all kinds and the playful energy they bring into my life. I consider myself to be a punctual, kind, and responsible individual. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets!

Safety, trust & environment
I look out for behaviors that indicate when they might be feeling ill, or when they're needing to go outside to use the bathroom. I'll generally know when persistent barking or pawing indicates their hungry, or in need of potty or playtime. Given that I've grown up with dogs, I'm very used to scanning the environment for any potential crumbs or items they might find on the floor and am always checking to make sure doors are shut to prevent wandering.

Jamie was an outstanding dog sitter! She stayed at our home for four days and took exceptional care of our dog, Linda. From the moment we left, we had complete peace of mind knowing Linda was in such caring and capable hands. Jamie was reliable, punctual, and kept us updated regularly with thoughtful messages and photos, which made us feel connected and reassured throughout our trip. When we returned, Linda was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Our home was also spotless—everything was clean, organized, and exactly as we had left it. We truly appreciated Jamie’s professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals. Jamie was absolutely wonderful! She stayed overnight with my dogs and gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She was incredibly communicative, kept me updated throughout her stay, and sent lots of pictures, which I really appreciated. It was clear my dogs were well cared for and comfortable with her. I would absolutely recommend Jamie to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring pet sitter, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again!
Am adding the 5 stars to my prior review... Jamie is a mature, caring and capable pet person. We have a very anxious dog and Jamie was very understanding - taking the time to get to know him. It is very challenging to find someone who you can trust with your pets, and we are lucky to have found Jamie!
Jamie did a great job caring for my dog, Howie! I needed someone last minute after another sitter cancelled. She made herself available for a meet and greet, which I appreciated. Howie has stranger danger at first but warmed up to her quickly. I asked for lots of updates and Jamie understood the assignment! I hope she’ll be available to watch Howie again in the future.
Another great stay with Jamie! Our little dog remembered Jamie and everything went smoothly! He was healthy and happy upon our return and the house was clean. Highly recommend Jamie for your pet’s needs!

Schedule
I have a very flexible schedule with plenty of time to squeeze in the time necessary to care for animals. And since I love animals and the outdoor time, caring for them is an easy way to make sure I get to do both of those!
