I always hate being away from my pups, but after the first two short stays for my business trips, I felt really good about being far away for 10 days over Thanksgiving, knowing they were in good hands. As always, Elizabeth was communicative, responsive and I could really tell she was getting to know their personalities and quirks. She also sent really fun updates, with a bit of humor and witty writing, but even better, the stories she texted me about were spot on with how they behave as a little pack. In addition, after her stay, I was putting harnesses on them to go on a walk, I noticed that my 9 month old pup Evie, who always ran around crazy when it was walk time and wouldn’t let me put her harness on, was coming up to me to get her harness put on. So, not only did she take good care of them, she somehow got Evie to understand how to put her harness on, and that chase was not part of that process. I’ll be forever grateful for whatever magic she did to get Evie to want to put on her harness! I will absolutely use Elizabeth again and highly recommend her to stay with your pets while on vacation or business travel.”

I currently am training for my upcoming hockey season! Monday-Thursday I’m available for morning visits before 1 PM (as early as 7 AM), and for afternoon/evening visits anytime after 3PM. On weekends, I’m fully open and can do multiple visits, walks, or overnight stays. I plan my week around confirmed bookings and make sure your pets care never overlaps with something else. When caring for pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible so they feel comfortable. I always leave the home clean and like to send updates (whether it’s a text or a photo) after visits so you know how things are going. If anything comes up (a change in behavior, a mess, or something out of the ordinary), I’ll let you know immediately. I treat every pet and home like i’d want mine to be treated.

About: For most of my High School education I had watched The Dog Whisperer religiously, which helped to ingrain my love for animals especially towards canines. I slowly began to pursue fields in which I could help surround myself with animals and careers pertaining to animals. I started after high school and became a volunteer at the San Jose Animal Care Services located on Monterey Rd. in San José. I was working on the side while going to school as I volunteered to help compensate the volunteer hours. As a designated dog walker I was introduced to small toy dogs down to 4 pounds up to larger breeds ranging upwards of 100 pounds. I am located in a single-family residence in a suburban enclave in Evergreen. We have a fenced backyard with lots of space to stretch out and enjoy the outdoors. The local elementary school is a 5-minute walk away, featuring its own walking trail and a fenced grass area. Animal care is my second nature. I can understand body signs and cues when it comes to how an animal is feeling and the best way to approach them. I've held up against big dogs all the way down to the little ones. Each animal is unique. The most important thing is love and respect.

“Zhi is phenomenal ! She took care of our two dogs for a week at our home. They enjoyed time with her spoiling them with treats and plenty of attention. Our older dog requires a little more care and Zhi did just that. She was so kind and caring to him, he truly loved her attention. Our younger dog has separation anxiety, Zhi was very attentive to him. He loved the walks she took him on. He loved her so much that when she left for a bit his howling made my neighbors worried lol. All in all, Zhi is an exemplar dog sitter. How she cared for our doggies and kept our home clean and tidy was well beyond expectation. Thank you Zhi ! Ollie misses you already.”
