Fun fact! I always wanted to be a vet since I was a little kid so I naturally have a huge passion for taking care and rescuing animals. I definitely have more cat experience than dog but I have worked with dogs before and grew up with 4 different dogs in my household. My mom has a dog with behavioral issues that I have taken care of multiple times so naturally I know how to read dog body language pretty well. I have rescued a one dog stray and about 8 cat/kitten strays. So on that, Thank you for considering me as your pet sitter and I will take care of your animal as if it were my own 🖤 I am currently full time working Tuesday-Saturday 9:30 am - 6:00 pm. I can absolutely do mornings and evenings before and after my shifts and I usually have full availability all Sunday Monday if get plenty notice ahead of time. I can do over nights for Saturdays and Sundays as well. I will make sure your animals are safe and loved and cared for appropriately. I am a very accommodating care giver so whatever special needs your animal has I have no issue with. I have been a cat owner for ten years now as well as I have also taken care of dogs for family. Your fur baby will have to climb 8 stairs (or I can assist them) to get to the main floor which is where we will hang out. I also have an enclosed patio, but most of our outdoor time will be outside at the park right next to my home.

I like to check the litter 3x a day as well. I have a spacious apartment for your cat and toys from my own cat. I let my cat roam around and don't have restrictions being on the bed or couch. My cat stays indoor ands sleeps in my walk-in closet and can be separated if needed.

I don’t have a fenced yard, but I love taking dogs to trails and parks nearby for exercise, fun, and potty breaks. They can relax in a crate or snuggle with me on the couch/bed. Fresh filtered water is always available and treats are given as allowed.

About: I’ve cared for pets many years prior to getting my own in order to prove I have what it takes. I treat your pets like they’re mine, with much love and respect. I’m currently working part time, 3 days a week which gives me a lot of flexibility to work other jobs on the days I have off. I tend to spend a lot of time at home so it is convenient to dog sit at home as well. If pet sitting at my house I tend to let the dog tone the house and get a sense of belonging before getting situated. Then I go as follows with their routine. I live in a neighborhood with many dog parks around so your dog will be guaranteed a walk at least every 1-2 hours. If dog sitting at home I like to greet myself to the pet before anything else so they can smell me and get used to my scent. Afterwards I like to check for any dog parts in the area before getting into the routine that is needed for the day.

I believe whenever the a dog or a cat misbehaves, always review what happened and ask how your actions or inactions may have contributed to their misdemeanor. Just like humans, every pets basic needs has to be fulfilled. For example, your dog needs the chance to go to the toilet regularly without soiling the house or itself. It is inhumane to keep a dog cooped up in a kennel for hours on end without human contact or any love/fun activities.
