About: I’ve learned that the secret to a happy pup is listening to what they are trying to tell us. That’s why I adapt my sitting style to your dog's mood and personality. Dogs experience the world through their noses. If you're dog is an explorer; I am happy to accommodate their need for a slower, sniff-heavy walk. If your dog struggles with anxiety and is hesitant to even step outside the door, don't worry. I encourage them gently and treat them with the same love and respect that you do! I am available any weekend and look forward to spend spending time with your pets. Please reach out to me for availability, I’m really flexible. I set reminders for important tasks so that I can keep your pet on their schedule. I monitor any changes in their behavior, so that I know when something is wrong.
“Trina took incredible care of our dog Dolly, taking things like the weather into consideration and also keeping in constant communication with us. She left the house spotless and even tidied Dolly’s toys up.”

“Amy is the best dog sitter we could have asked for. I pride myself on how much I take my dogs on adventures but Amy even surpassed what I do for my own dog! Amy took my dog on numerous wonderful adventures while sending me amazing pictures from their adventures. When Amy left she left a gorgeous hand drawn picture of our dog. I recommend Amy to anyone with a pet that they like and want to leave in good hands. 5 stars. A+ dog sitting! Will hire again!”

About: I’ve lived with animals my whole life: dogs, cats, fish, rodents, parakeet. My sister is a marine mammal trainer, and I appreciate the advice she’s shared about shaping behavior and interpreting body language. I have yet to meet a dog I don’t like (and vice versa!) I’m a physician assistant student finishing up my degree in May. I currently have a lot of flexibility with scattered zoom classes and studying. Looking for pet sitting or walks to break up the studying ◡̈ Pets need love, attention, and patience. I walk my mom’s dog daily and tend to all her grooming (and of course give her lots of pets).
“Natalie was so great!! She was very kind and flexible and even left the house clean. She sent me lots of updates of the dogs and followed all the instructions. This was my first time having someone I don’t know watch my dogs and she was fantastic!”

“Justin took amazing care of Rio and was incredibly attentive to all of his needs. He was very patient, followed every instruction perfectly, and made sure Rio was comfortable and happy throughout. On top of that, Justin was great with other pets as well, which gave me even more peace of mind. He treated my home with care and respect, just like his own. I’m truly happy with the experience and would absolutely love to have Justin back again for future sittings!”

“Jenny is a fantastic sitter! She took excellent care of my dog, Akira. Akira is usually shy and takes time to warm up to new people, but she was immediately comfortable with Jenny. I will definitely be booking her again!”

“Paulina was able to take a late request to watch my 2 cats. She interacts alot with my cats, which I appreciate, as one of my cats NEEDS lots of attention. They look forward to her visits with them.”

“Francis did great! We have a reactive dog that doesn't do well with new people. He did great with Francis. We got lots of updates while we were away, came home to a clean house and detailed notes. We would definitely book again in the furture.”

“Scarlett took such wonderful care of our dog, Snow Cone! She was so kind, flexible to a couple of last minute changes, and took lots of great photos. She communicated really well with us, with very prompt responses, and asked great questions during the meet and greet. We are excited to book her again soon!”

About: I grew up on a farm surrounded by cows, goats, chickens, cats, and dogs. This evoked in me a deep passion for animals, but especially dogs. My current occupation is nannying and I have been doing so for 10 years. I have also worked as a petsitter when the occasion arises. I love both of these jobs and this is the reason for deciding to sign up for this app. The way that I would describe myself is: responsible, caring, calm, sensitive, trustworthy, and reliable. I can easily create a connection with children and dogs alike, which makes them more comfortable spending their time with me. I feel comfortable sitting dogs of all sizes. I will genuinely love your pet and will always make sure to respond to his/her needs. Thank you for reading! Caring for pets is something I naturally build into my day. I make time for regular walks, feeding, play, and attention, and I enjoy creating a consistent routine that helps pets feel comfortable and well cared for. I care for pets by maintaining their normal routine, including feeding, walks, play, and rest. I pay close attention to their behavior and well-being, making sure they’re comfortable and safe at all times. In clients’ homes, I respect their space, keep everything tidy, and follow all instructions carefully. I also communicate consistently with updates, photos, and any important observations.
“My cats warmed right up to Demi! It was a great peace of mind having her stay in my home with them so they wouldn't be bored or lonely with an empty house while I was away on a weekend trip. Demi was communicative and sent frequent updates and pictures, which I really appreciated. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I've trained and cared for my own dogs, both small and large breeds, all of my life. I've also volunteered extensively for shelters, walking and fostering all kinds of dogs. I'm also trained my own horses, giving me a strong sense of how to communicate with animals. I work from home on my own flexible schedule. As a result, i can accommodate your and your pets' schedules on weekdays as well as weekends. I can provide whatever your pet needs: walks as needed, playtime, comforting if he or she is anxious, and of course feeding and watering on their schedule.

“Madeline is a very honest person. She followed instructions very well. She cared for Joey (my GSD) like her own sent daily updates and left my home spotless Reliable loving and professional I highly recommend her to anyone needing a trusted pet sitter. I plan to hire her again! 💙”

About: I have 4 years of hands-on experience fostering dogs across a wide range of ages, from very young puppies to senior dogs, and I’ve cared for many different personalities, temperaments, and needs. Through fostering, I’ve worked with playful, high-energy dogs, shy or anxious dogs who need extra patience, and older dogs who need a gentler pace and more attentive care. That experience has taught me how important it is to meet each dog where they are and make them feel safe, comfortable, and understood. I’m currently completing my master’s program at Johns Hopkins online while also applying to medical school, which gives me a fairly flexible schedule. Because my program is remote, I’m able to plan my time well and make pet care a consistent part of my daily and weekly routine. I’m reliable, organized, and able to give pets plenty of attention, care, and companionship. I always try to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I pay close attention to each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level, and I know how important consistency and patience are, especially when pets are in a new environment or away from their owners. With my fostering background, I’m very used to adapting to different ages, temperaments, and needs, and I always prioritize safety, trust, and calm, dependable care.
“Devin cat and house sat for us for two weeks while we were out of town. Our cat is a pandemic cat so is accustomed to frequent attention and it seems she definitely got that while we were away - possible more than when we’re home! Devin sent regular photos and updates and Misty always appeared very content. The house was left tidy and Devin helped with extra tasks such as bringing in the mail and putting out the trash for collection.”

We loved the way Vanessa took care of our two dogs and also our house for the 10 days we were away. She kept us updated daily via text and sent us pictures of our happy dogs. She even alerted us that we were getting ants in the kitchen and did a great job getting rid of them. Thank you Vanessa, we appreciate you!
Jennifer is incredibly kind and genuinely cares about animals. She is also very responsible and communicative. She sends regular updates with photos and videos throughout the day, so we feel connected even when we’re away. The house is always spotless when we return — she keeps everything very clean and tidy, way beyond what we expect. She’s reliable, professional, and truly a joy to work with. If you’re looking for a trustworthy pet sitter who treats your home and pets like her own, look no further. Jennifer is the best! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

Diana was absolutely amazing with our little cat. We were abroad for 3 weeks and she was booked in for a home stay to live in with our cat. She treated our cat as her own and looked after her so well, and gave us lots of updates on her, which gave us so much peace of mind. Diana also treated our home so respectfully and it was so clean and well kept to return to. Our cat definitely loved her company too and got comfortable with her really quickly. I believe we have found our forever pet sitter for any future trips away too. Thank you so much for the perfect 3 weeks for our cat.

Sahil was an amazing dog sitter! He was very responsive and communicative throughout the entire stay, which gave us great peace of mind. He took wonderful care of our dog for a few days, and it’s clear that he genuinely loves and understands pets. The best part was seeing how happy and relaxed our dog was when we returned, which really showed how well he was treated. We would absolutely trust Sahil again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!

Read my other review! I will Only use Aurora to watch my babies. This time one of mine even threw up and she was SO kind about, cleaned it up, informed me, and even saved what he threw up (a foreign object) so I could Look at it. If that’s not a real dog mom idk what is!

Tatyanan was incredible kind and supportive throughout the whole process. I had never used Rover, let alone a pet sitter. Before even booking with her she came to meet my cats and I and walk me through the process. While I was out of state for my fiance's surgery, she went above and beyond to make sure that my cats were taken care of, regularly sending pictures, and that the place stayed clean from pet messes. I greatly appreciate Tatyana and would absolutely book her again! Thank you Tatyana!!

Rose did an excellent job watching our two doodles. Both of them are a bit of a handful as one is a senior with incontinence issues (he needs regular outsides and diaper changes) while the other is younger and requests regular attention. Rose arrived on time, she made sure both dogs had regular breaks and she shared lots of pictures. We will definitely work with her again.

We are thankful for having met Dixie and for her expertise in handling two elder dogs. One who is usually very anxious when we leave took to Dixie with no problem. Looking forward to future sitting from Dixie. Thank you so much and we felt our furry family members were in good hands.
