“Jenny was absolutely amazing. She came over for a meet and greet and brought both the cats and dogs treats. They instantly loved her. She is very responsive and very good with animals. My two dogs and two cats sat at the door after she left waiting for her to come back. She sends daily updates and took such great care of all of my four-legged kids. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants their animals to be well cared for. Thanks again Jenny!”

“Saana took care of my cat Ping Pong at my apartment for about a week over the 4th of July holiday. Saana and Ping Pong have become great friends, and I am very happy with all the detailed attention she gives him and frequency of adorable photo and text updates.”

I am so happy to have found someone who cares for my felines as if they were her own. My cats required medicine and are not the cuddly pair. But Jerri was able to build a connection. I'm so appreciative of how well she took care of my animals and hm.”

About: Hi! My name is Komo, and I am an energetic animal-lover excited to care for your dog, cat, fish, snake or even plant! I’ve enjoyed caring for friends’ pets for much of my life. I grew up helping feral kittens and watching Cesar Milan Dog training shows until I finally got my sweet rottweiler at age 12. Through raising my pup and over a decade of pet-sitting, I’ve come to understand how to care for and entertain dogs of any breed, age, and energy level. As the mom of a now senior (& very healthy) rottie, I am especially skilled at caring for puppies, high energy dogs, and senior pups. I currently have a pretty open schedule! I can be booked on weekdays morning and evenings and can accommodate any time on the weekends. For at-home petsitting, I function on the phrase “early to bed, early to rise” and am a light sleeper who can respond to any of your pets needs during the night. Each dog is different, and I make the effort to understand your dog and adapt to their needs. Aside from the energy and entertainment I bring to stimulate your pet, I know how to keep your home and belongings safe from their fun. Dogs will often communicate what they want before they act. By keeping an eye on their behavior, I catch zoomies and outbursts before it’s too late, removing them from situations where they can harm themselves or your belongings. My attention to their behavior will also keep me aware of their boundaries and comfort to ensure your pet trusts me and feels safe around me. I can easily crate, feed, medicate, and calm your pet, regardless of their energy level.

“Our puppy is a handful so we have a lot that we asked Victoria to pay attention to - she always took our instructions to heart and I really appreciated that! Our pup had a great time”

“We had a great experience with Sahil for housesitting of our pets. He was very attentive towards our dog and cat, communicated issues and questions and was very responsive. The house was also well taken care of. We had a overall positive experience and would book a housesitting or dogsitting again.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter! Amy went above and beyond while caring for our dog and cat, especially when our dog unexpectedly needed surgery during our trip. Amy was calm, reliable, and incredibly attentive—sending thoughtful updates and making sure they had food, toys, and attention. We came home to a spotless house and a sweet surprise: a painting Amy made of our pets! Her kindness and creativity really touched us. We’re so grateful and would absolutely trust her again in a heart beat.”

“Stacey was amazing. She kept me up to date on how my dog and cat were doing. She also made sure to ask lots of questions to be prepared to care for my animals. I was very comfortable having her housesit for me.”

“Suky was fantastic. Great communicator, knowable, responsible, flexible. Our GSD Sansa was recently diagnosed w/ Cushing's Disease and needed medicine and some extra attention. Suky took everything in stride and got along famously w/ Sansa. We would book Suky again in a heartbeat. Thanks Suky!”

“Patrick house sat for me last weekend. Everything was great and my pups were well taken care of. Patrick was very responsive and I will hire him again.”

About: I’ve always had dogs in my life, but only in the last few years have I had major care experience of any kind, but I genuinely really enjoy it. I’ve always loved dogs and pets in general and I’d love to have more opportunities I’m not working any jobs right now and want to make some money doing something I enjoy while saving up for things. So I’m free a fair amount of the time I’m sure the type of care I give certain pets will depend on their personal needs since I’m planning on house sitting, but as far as basics go I’ll make sure to be attentive and keep them happy

“Amazing pet sitter! I had a last minute trip and was scrambling to find a sitter. Lauren sent daily photos and took great care of my pets and my home. Will definitely contact again!”

About: Proud dog mom, cat aunt, and all-around animal lover here excited to spend time walking, playing with, and loving your pets. I know how important it is to feel your fur baby is happy and cared for while you’re away, and I’d love to help with that. My partner and I adopted our pup at 8 weeks old about 4 years ago, so I totally get those wild puppy days (and sharp little teeth!). I’ve also watched friends dogs and spent weeks at a time cat sitting for my sister over the years and loving getting to learn their little personalities and form bonds with them. I’d love to get to know your pet and make sure they feel safe, loved, and totally spoiled while we’re together. I’m just getting started here and would be happy to learn about your pet’s needs and can be flexible with scheduling as needed. I work remotely full time and can adjust to your pets schedule as needed. Trust and safety are my top priority wherever I am! My place has a fenced in yard, but my dog can be reactive and is not cat friendly. If you’d like to have your dog stay with me, I’d prefer to do a slow introduction with them before a long stay. When I’m at your place, I will care for it as my own. Before our first walk, I’d love to learn as much about your pet’s needs as possible to ensure I’m providing the best care while you’re away!

“We are so grateful to have found Mai! She takes such great care of our dogs and home every time we’re away. Our dogs absolutely love her, and it gives us peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. Mai follows all our instructions carefully, asks for clarification when needed, and keeps us updated throughout her stay. Plus, she always leaves the house spotless! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, responsible, and caring dog sitter.”

About: I’ve cared for many animals while their parents are away. I love getting to know each and every one of them while giving them the space they need to rest and be. I’m an experienced house, dog, and cat sitter and can also care for your plants while you’re away. I offer long-term sits as well as dog walking services. I currently have a very flexible schedule. I work with pets through multiple platforms and will block off any dates where I am already booked on my calendar. Please feel free to reach out directly to confirm availability and dates. I rely on the client to direct me towards the protection of their pets and their home. Each home is different, some are equipped with cameras (outside only) and others are not. In the same way, each pet is different. We can discuss how you leash/harness your pet and other safety considerations for your animal and your home on a as-needed basis.

“This was my first time ever using Rover. I was really skeptical and a little worried about having a stranger in our house. We met Emily one week before our trip. We had asked her to stay the night because our dogs are super clingy and cuddling is their love language. Emily was more than willing to stay the night. She left the house exactly how she found it. She sent pictures through out the days, asked questions if she wasn’t sure what to do. One of my dogs has some health issues so she has to pee every 4 hours. Emily never acted like it was a nuisance, and was absolutely accommodating. I trust her entirely and will be using her again and again!”

Centerville pet parents share their Rover experiences
Saana is truly a dog whisperer. We reached out to her with an urgent, last minute request and she stepped in without hesitation. Even though it was our first time working with her, it didn’t feel that way at all. She was warm, professional, and clearly has a deep love for dogs. She cared for our golden retriever, Jonny, as if he was her own. When we returned, Jonny was happy, calm, and clearly well-loved. In fact, Jonny missed her for days after she left, which is a clear sign he felt safe and cared for. Saana is dependable, caring, and someone we would absolutely trust again in the future. Highly recommended.

Great as usual! My two arnt the easiest pups, couple of crazy German Shepherds, but Lauren handles them with ease. Thanks again!

Very happy with the sitting. My pups were happy too. I got routine updates and photos. Recommend for sure

Jenny was terrific She went above and beyond with our pets(dog and cat) we had photos every day of how they were playing and walking in nature. We will definitely ask her to stay with our pets again Jenny watered our indoor plants and outdoor plants and herbs

We had a great experience with Sahil for housesitting of our pets. He was very attentive towards our dog and cat, communicated issues and questions and was very responsive. The house was also well taken care of. We had a overall positive experience and would book a housesitting or dogsitting again.

Tori did a great job taking care of our cat! You can tell she loves animals and our cat was in great hands. Tori was nice, professional, and has such a calm presence. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks, Tori!

Stacey is an amazing sitter! She did an excellent job caring for our little doggie, as if he were her own. He is a special one with quirks, diet needs and meds and none of that phased her. She did her best to make him feel loved while we were away. We received regular updates which really helped us to feel better about leaving him behind.

SaiSai was very responsive and timely. She took time to get to know Boomer and kept us updated throughout her stay with him. Thank you!

Melissa did a fantastic job taking care of our dog Brenna and our home. Everything was perfect! Thank you!!

Happy and relieved to have found Alani on Rover after our previous pet sitter moved out of state! Alani was kind enough to come by beforehand to do a meet and greet with the pups and entire family. We knew the pups would be in great hands after that first meet! Alani sent pictures and kept me updated while we were away on our trip. We will definitely hire her again the next time we are out of town!

Tearsa did a wonderdul job house sitting and evwn left our home better than when she arrived. She sent a lot of great update photos of our dog and even made a cute little summary video. I definitely recommend her for house sitting your pets.

Issel was a new sitter for us and she did a great job. We have a new, young, large dog that is still working on manners and she managed both this newer, challenging dog and our polite older dog very well. She was very responsive and flexible. She managed both dog's need for constant human contact very well. I give her extra high marks because I messed up the date on the original booking request and she showed up to watch the dogs a month early based on my error. She was very kind and understanding and agreed to move the booking to the correct month but, when she came to the house that first time, my wife and I were out walking the dogs and she showed tremendous concern and resourcefulness when she found the dogs missing and the gate open. I highly recommend Issel.

Very caring for our senior dog and took responsibility for feeding and giving medication. I felt very comfortable knowing that Emily was house sitting for us, this way our fur baby could be in her own house where everything is familiar. Highly recommended!

Mayna is an absolute gem and was the best sitter for my Bella. She was very responsive with any questions or concerns, and gave regular updates during the stay. She went above and beyond with my girl and I couldn’t ask for a better sitter. Thank you Mayna for all your hard work and great communication!

Marney was very detailed and caring for Timon. She not only messaged and sent pictures throughout the day, but also left detailed notes and a cute report card on how the day went. She handled Timon well on their walk, even when he started acting up and biting the leash, clothes, and even her arm :( She also handled another dog who sprinted up to them and kept the two separated. Marney is very reliable and your dog will be in good hands!

Jenna was wonderful with our senior dog Randy, we can’t wait to have her back to housesit. Highly recommend.

Ashi stayed in my home to care for my dog, Onyx and it was so very evident that she did an amazing job. Upon returning it was clear that Onyx was well-fed, happy, and not anxious at all. Typically when we're going away, Onyx chooses to start a hunger strike and needs extra care and support to eat his meals; Ashi put forth that extra effort. Ashi was also very communicative with us through text. We received many updates, photos, and even videos of how Onyx was doing which was so relieving while away. Lastly, she was an excellent houseguest. We returned to our place just as clean as when we left it. I would definitely book with Ashi again and recommend her to any pet parent :)
