“This is our second time using Jennifer and she always took such great care of our home and fur babies. My dog has pretty serious food allergies and is on a strict diet, Jennifer was incredibly careful, measured portions perfectly, and even texted me a quick photo of the food container to confirm she had the right one. My cat is very high energy and needs a lot of playtime to stay happy, and Jennifer had daily interactive play sessions with him. Beyond the pets, Jennifer fed and checked on the stray cats I care for every day, hauled in a mountain of Black Friday packages and left the house spotless. She even surprised me with a thoughtful birthday gift that made coming home extra special. I can’t recommend Jennifer highly enough and will definitely use her again for future trips. She was great with both of them - our younger guy is usually really hesitant with new people but he warmed up to her immediately. About: I've walked and fed both my sister's and friend's dogs for the last few years. Been going to the dog park interact w/different breeds of dogs to get used to each of there own quirks and personalities. I work full-time so I can take care of your dogs on the weekends. Some Holidays i should be free, just have to give me heads up. I am available on weekends after 11am I offer care and company for your dogs. I can be an "uncle" for them, when their parents are not home. Essentials such as food water, toys bathroom etc. always kept in mind!

Because I maintain a very active lifestyle and regularly strength train, I am fully capable of safely handling large breeds or strong pullers. When entering and leaving a client's home, I double check that all doors and gates are securely locked, water bowls are topped off, and the house is left exactly as I found it.

About: I've been pet/house sitting consistently for about 15 years. I have experience with all ages and sizes of dog. I currently have 2 furry companions, 1 dog and 1 cat. I work weekends for a non-profit that runs Farmers markets. This gives me tremendous flexibility on weekdays (Monday-Thursday). I can fit weekends into my schedule after 3 pm and with reasonable notice. I cater my experience to the needs of the animal I am caring for. “I have to be honest, using Rover makes me nervous because I’m hiring a stranger to not only care for my beloved pets, but to live in my house while I’m gone. Under the best of circumstances that’s awkward, but luckily I found Mayna and all my worries were tossed out the window. Mayna is fantastic, and I knew it literally the second I met her. We met in a public location first to kind of feel each other out, and then when it was clear that we both wanted to continue the meet-and-greet process, she came by the house to get acquainted with my dogs, and their routine. We were together for a total of about three hours, and the whole time I knew she was going to be perfect for this job. We only went away for a weekend, but Mayna took excellent care of our dogs, which is the number one priority for me. Secondarily is the house, which I don’t expect anything to be done to or for, but Mayna went above and beyond. She washed and dried every towel and linen she used, even though I told her she didn’t need to do that, and the house was extremely clean when we got home. It was like she had never been there. She also kept in touch many times while we were gone to show us pictures of the dogs, or tell us about them, so I was never left wondering how they were doing. And it was clear that they were having no anxiety with her being there, which is great because my youngest dog has major separation anxiety. Overall, this was an extraordinarily positive experience and if you are on the fence about hiring a stranger from an app to care for your fur family, get off the fence and hire Mayna. You will absolutely not regret it. She is very well spoken, educated, kind, friendly, happy, and most importantly she takes pride in what she does as a petsitter. As a plus, at least for me, her work schedule is very flexible and allowed for a very good amount of time to be spent with my dogs. I would hire Mayna as a petsitter again in a heartbeat; in fact, she’ll be staying with the dogs again this weekend!”
