“Vanessa was great! She watched our dog and Cockatiel for 2 days. She communicated well before and during the house sitting. She asked alot questions about our dog to make sure they would be comfortable and came by to meet our family a few days before the stay started. Even though we didn't need her to, she offered to water plants, bring in mail, etc. She sent me several photos and texts that really helped me feel better about leaving our pets with a sitter. I would definitely use Vanessa again. It was a great experience, our house was how we left it and our Pup Rosy seemed completely happy when we got home!”

11. Sofia S.
“Sofia went above and beyond to ensure my dog Bella was well taken care of while me and my family were out of town for a week. We ask her to check in with Bella, feed her, refresh her water, and take her on walks when she had the chance and she did a great job everyday. She loved Bella as if she was her own and gave her all the belly rubs and cuddles as humanly possible. As a friend of hers, I know she loves all cats and dogs and will take great care of your pets as well.”
12. Stacey B.
“I don’t know where to begin because Stacey did a lot for my fur baby. Stacey was a Godsent! Booked Stacey 2 weeks before our trip and she quickly arranged a greet & meet and worked out the details. My fur baby, Haley, requires special preparation for her meals. Stacey followed every directions well. Haley just recently got over really bad diarrhea, thought that it was over but it came back while we were gone. Stacey cleaned my carpet and the floor. She changed all the pads and cleaned up all the mess. Haley also lost her appetite. I told Stacey that when Haley is sick, she would eat rice with chopped up greenies sprinkled on top. Stacey brought her own rice and milk, and nurtured Haley with love. I felt powerless from being away while Haley is not well, but Stacey kept me at ease the whole time by making sure Haley was eating and drinking. Stacey sent pictures and videos of Haley everyday because she knew I’ll be missing Haley a lot. Stacey kept me well informed with how Haley is doing and would consult with me first before she does anything, which I really appreciate. When we returned, Haley’s appetite is back and the diarrhea had improved. Haley warmed up to Stacey so quickly. Haley doesn’t normally let strangers pet her but Stacey was able to pet Haley! Also, Stacey looked after our house so well. She watered my houseplants and kept the kitchen and living room area clean. The water hose in the backyard burst and it was pouring rain in our backyard. Stacey quickly took care of that too! I would book Stacey in a heart beat to watch Haley in the future. I highly recommend Stacey to care for your fur babies. You can tell she loves animals and truly care for them. Thank you, Stacey!”

17. Vanessa P.
About: Hi I’m Vanessa! I have 3 current pets, a cute corgi, a senior chihuahua, and a cat, I love and cherish them all <3 Spending time with them is important to me, which is why I like taking them on walks engaging them in play activities. I am good at following instructions and taking care of their needs! I am currently a college student studying architecture, having plenty of free time and a flexible schedule to take car of your pup. Along with having the joy of exploring the city’s architecture together on walks! I am free all through the weeks preferably early in the day, but also available later on. I can read a dogs expression well and know when they are uncomfortable, but I would like to know if there’s anything I should know about your dog beforehand, for example if your dog likes to be around other dogs, or likes to stay away and keep its distance, it’s all about keeping your pup and I safe and comfortable with their boundaries!
18. Ruchita K.
About: I have trained puppies and adult dogs, I have rescued dogs, birds (a spotted owlet) and other animals (a tortoise, a squirrel ). I am a nature lover and have volunteered at the Santa Clara Audubon society's events where we rehabilitated burrowing Owl colonies at a site near Milpitas. I deeply enjoy the nature and the company of animals. I am a Data Analyst/ Energy Analyst by profession. I love taking care of animals as my pass-time. I am super grateful to be in a company of a loving 3 yr old mutt called Circe. I have enjoyed company of pets since childhood and now I am better equipped to take care of them in my extra time (thanks to my pet Circe, who has taught me a lot about training and taking care of pets) . I started fostering puppies with Humane Society (Milpitas) back in 2020. On January 2021, I brought home Circe (a 11 week old pup who had multiple fractures and completely destroyed knee joint of her hind leg). I took care of her, gave her medicines, food and fresh water, carried her in my arms and took her for strolls every 2-3 hours as she could not walk, played with her, massaged her legs as per vet's instructions. Age was on her side and she recovered fast. When she finally started walking after 3 weeks, it was almost time to give her back and I ended up adopting her. She has made me (& my husband ) happier than I thought we could ever be. She has taught us a lot about pet care giving, training & living with dogs. Each and every pet, their personality and needs are different. Some need warmth and snuggles while others need company and their own space. I try to gather as much information possible from the pet owners, then I like to study pets (as their dynamic with people can differ) and try to provide best care with the available information till pets' parents are back! I usually use a small amount of treats to get pets to listen to me and follow my instructions.
19. Austin W.

20. Benjamin M.
About: I am a college student at Ohlone, majoring in Human Psychology, and has a certificate in Ethnic Studies, who has one dog at home. I had dogs since I was 13 years old, and relatives trusted me to take care of them. I love dogs, I don't care if they are wild and crazy, or soft and demure. I just love them. They're the perfect pets. I walked one other dog other than my own. I come with a smile, a grin, and a love for pets. Dogs are awesome, and I welcome any constructive criticism, or tips on how to take good and proper care of your dog and I will treat them like they're part of my family. I also believe that most dogs are social creatures. Therefore, it is my goal to have them socialize with other dogs that act appropriately. Sometimes, they will be around my dog, who I know I can trust to act appropriately and be a good role model. My hours are flexible. I can work with you to best suit your schedule and will try to accommodate you to the best of my ability. You trust me to treat your dog as if it were my own and I will uphold that to the best of my ability. I will keep them on a leash and correct their behavior positively and punitively. If they're treat-motivated, they will be given tons of treats for correct behavior.
