“Jenny is a fantastic sitter! She took excellent care of my dog, Akira. Akira is usually shy and takes time to warm up to new people, but she was immediately comfortable with Jenny. I will definitely be booking her again!”

“Since Mowgli is a senior dog I wanted him to be as comfortable as possible while we were away, so house sitting was our best option. Having Lauren house sit gave us such peace of mind. We appreciated the pictures and her checking in with us about his day. Will definitely book with her again if my husband and I plan another trip.”

“Quynh Ann (QT) was fantastic with my dog Rex. Rex is a senior blind dog and she took great care of him for a week while I was out of town. QT also took great care of my apartment and I would never have guessed that she had been at my home the last week!”

“Aurora was truly a gift having her dog-sit our precious girl Sadie. She was caring, responsive, gave many updates throughout the long weekend and made me feel at ease while I was away knowing that my dog was in good hands. Thank you Aurora. You are top on my list for future dog-sitting needs.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter! Amy went above and beyond while caring for our dog and cat, especially when our dog unexpectedly needed surgery during our trip. Amy was calm, reliable, and incredibly attentive—sending thoughtful updates and making sure they had food, toys, and attention. We came home to a spotless house and a sweet surprise: a painting Amy made of our pets! Her kindness and creativity really touched us. We’re so grateful and would absolutely trust her again in a heart beat.”

About: Hello! After many years working in IT, I’ve happily retired to follow my heart—becoming a full-time dog mom. I’m warm, caring, and detail-oriented, but most importantly, I truly love dogs! I share my life with Bo, my joyful 4-year-old girl. She enjoys at least three walks a day and trips to the dog park almost every day. Your furry friend will get the same love, attention, and fun-filled activities as Bo does—plenty of walks, playtime, and companionship. As a photographer, I’ll also keep you connected with your pup by sending photo and video updates as often as you’d like. If your dog stays with us for a longer visit, you may even receive a beautiful portrait as a keepsake. 💛 Love, play, laughter, and tail wags are all here waiting for your fur baby! I’m home full-time, so I can give plenty of attention and care. I usually take the dogs out in the morning, around noon, and in the evening—most often to the nearby dog park. We also have a spacious garden courtyard where the dogs can walk and explore if we’re not heading out of the building. We have a beautiful, walled garden courtyard where the dogs can safely walk and explore, and the Fremont Central Park Dog Park is just a few minutes away. My 4-year-old dog, Bo, is a sweet and friendly girl who loves both people and other dogs—she’ll be a wonderful companion for your fur baby
“Saana and Nitin were truly wonderful. They took such marvelous are of our dog Buggy, they went above and beyond what we asked for and made us both feel at ease while traveling. Buggy is not an easy dog to just jump in and start loving, she is obstinate and untrusting, but both Saana and Nitin were so patient with her and let their new relationship happen organically by providing her constant support and peanut butter. We will absolutely use them again in the future, and you should too!”

About: I am new to Rover but I have been pet sitting for friends and through word of mouth for the last five years! It is always a joy for me! I am currently working part time so I have a lot of time to help others with pet care. I can travel to you and I can stay over night. I am able to stay with your pet and keep them company over night or just for a visit. I’m used to caring for dogs and cats!
“I highly recommend Alex. My Boston Terrier, Mojo, is very stubborn and does not trust strangers. He seemed to really like Alex and opened up to her easily over the weekend when I'm gone. Alex is great at following instructions and easy to communicate with. Mojo had a fun time I'm sure. Thanks, Alex!”
“Su took such great care of our dog Harley while we were out of town. She took her for daily walks and followed all of our care instructions. She even cared for my plants while we were away. We feel so lucky to have found Su!”

“Rose did an excellent job watching our two doodles. Both of them are a bit of a handful as one is a senior with incontinence issues (he needs regular outsides and diaper changes) while the other is younger and requests regular attention. Rose arrived on time, she made sure both dogs had regular breaks and she shared lots of pictures. We will definitely work with her again.”

About: I’ve been a lifelong animal lover and have cared for a wide variety of pets since I was young, from cats and dogs to chickens, lizards, chinchillas, and more! I am comfortable with pets of all ages and abilities, and I am especially skilled in providing care for those with special needs. I believe that open communication is key, and I will happily send you as many photo and text updates as you would like while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet you furry friends! I recently moved to the area for my partners job, and I am currently at home with my pups full time. My schedule can be flexible to meet your needs. I am happy to follow the routine your pet is accustomed to. I can provide long walks, fetch in your yard, cuddles, feedings, etc. Whatever it is they need to feel comfortable, safe, and well exercised while you’re away!
“Highly recommend Sahil if you are looking for someone to treat your fur babies like theirs and take care of them just like you would. Sahil made sure that our fur babies are given all the love and care they needed while we were out. Sahil communicated regularly with us and was always available when needed. 5 stars from us. Will definitely be booking him again! !”

About: As a teacher and lifelong animal lover, I treat every pet like family. I only take one client at a time to ensure full attention and care. I have a 4-year-old black and white Border Collie girl who is playful, gentle, and very well-trained. She never makes a mess at home and enjoys her daily runs and ball games in the park with her dog friends. I’ve been around animals literally my whole life — growing up, our family always had pets. Over the years, I’ve had three cats and four dogs, each with their own personalities and stories. I’ve also helped friends board their fur babies and done home visits/drop-in visit for cats and received good reputation. Training my Border Collie taught me patience, structure, and how to communicate calmly with all kinds of pets. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a shy kitty, I treat every animal with love, respect, and care, just like family. 🐶🐱💛 I start my day early and finish work early. I’m available for home visits in the mornings and after 3 PM on weekdays. Weekends and holidays work for me as well. I offer home visits, dog walks, and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats. Walks are always one-on-one, and your pet won’t meet mine unless you approve. Home staying for pets are only for weekend and holidays. Caring for pets fits naturally into my routine because it’s what I genuinely love to do every day. Safety and comfort always come first. I have experience with reactive dogs and know how to create safe boundaries. I also follow your pet’s care routine closely and will send pet pictures to you.
