I’ve never known a life without pets present. I grew up side-by-side with my parents’ first “baby”—a golden retriever puppy born just a few months before me—and my love for animals only grew from there. As a teen, I volunteered at local rescues, fostered animals throughout undergrad, adopted a sweet senior dog of my own, and later welcomed home my first cat: a scrappy little shelter kitten labeled “on clearance.” (Yes, really.) I’ve cared for pets of all ages, personalities, and energy levels—from zoomies-on-command puppies to nap-loving seniors. I know every animal has their own quirks, and I tailor my care to match what makes your pet feel happiest, safest, and most at ease. As a lifelong pet parent myself, I know how nerve-wracking it can be to find someone you trust. That’s why I go out of my way to make the experience feel seamless and stress-free—for both you and your pet. I’ll never treat your booking like a quick task; I genuinely love spending time with animals and want them to feel just as comfortable with me as they do with you. Expect plenty of updates, photos, and thoughtful notes after each visit. Whether your dog needs a patient buddy, a walking partner, or just someone to sit and keep them company—I’ll be there with warmth, reliability, and care you can count on.

Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or yours, their comfort and safety are always my top priority. I take time to fully get to know you and your pet’s preferences, routines, and personalities to ensure I can make their care feel as secure and stress-free as possible. I am thorough with going over and confirming all care instructions your pets need, and prioritize safety and comfort above all else. I always double-check doors (locks, keys, codes, alarms, gates), food and water levels, all care instructions for both animals and home, preferred levels of communication & updates, etc—because trust is built in the little details. I will fully accommodate any special instructions and communication preferences requested by you, as I know how nerve wracking it can be to find a care provider you trust to care not just for your furry family member, but with your residence as well! Please rest comfortably knowing it is my utmost priority to ensure your loved one is in competent, caring, trustworthy hands. _______ As a random bonus — for my Chinese clients, I am 100% fluent in Mandarin (國語/普通話). However, I am an ABC, so I would prefer English especially for written communication, but otherwise, I hope my bilingual skills make the process of finding a sitter you trust and are comfortable with even easier.

I have to say, Katelyn is truly the best Rover sitter I could have ever asked for. She was the first person I found on the app, and honestly, she will probably be the last because I can’t imagine finding anyone better. She is incredibly thoughtful, gentle, and caring. Before even coming to your home, she takes the time to ask about every detail, including any special instructions and your pet’s care routine. When she visits, she spends a lot of time making sure every aspect of your pet’s care is taken care of. What impressed me most is that even with things you may not think to mention, she notices them herself and takes care of every little detail perfectly. You can genuinely feel how much care and love she puts into what she does just from the way she communicates and writes her visit updates. She makes you feel completely at ease while you’re away, because you know your pet is being cared for with the same attention and affection as if they were part of her own family.(she even cleaned up my messy room for my cupid 😻) Katelyn is incredibly responsible, warm, attentive, and professional. I feel extremely lucky to have found her, and I genuinely couldn’t recommend her more.

Katelyn is a superstar sitter! It’s hard to come by sitters that go above and beyond than what we ask of them and that is her. You can 100% put your whole trust in her with your fur babies. She follows all of the instructions given and follows up on them. She also cleaned up our house and now I can come back and just relax. I also got daily updates and report cards and I was able to go on my trip and relax knowing that my baby was in great hands. Katelyn is the only sitter I will be booking because she was that amazing! Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine—I work remotely/part time with a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets the attention, exercise, and snuggles they need throughout the day. Whether it's morning walks, midday potty breaks, or evening playtime, I’m able to build my day around your pet’s needs to keep them happy and relaxed while you're away for the weekend or at the office.

- For all clients: I’ll request that you fill out the care information on your profile as detailed as possible, and will confirm and ask any follow up questions that may have been missed before our booking. For Drop-In/Walk Clients - 1. Show me around your dog’s environment and where I can find anything I’ll need to care for your pet - leash & harness/collar (and if you use any special leashes or collars like prong or e-collars, I’ll ask you to walk me through any special instructions for use) 2. Where their food, food bowls, water, water bowls, and treats are located. How often do they eat? How much? 3. If you crate train, how would you like me to leave your dog after/between visits? 4. What main priorities you would like for me to prioritize while your pet is in my care (e.g. to get your dog as much exercise as possible and tucker him out, or more playtime and attention for enrichment purposes, or if you really just need someone to take them out to potty/get fed, I can do it all, just communicate with me!) General: - Let me know how trained your dog generally is, especially how they do on leash, if they pull, escape, etc. and what commands they know. - If your has any medical history or medical care, and if they have any special needs - Any known behavioral issues. This can range from how they interact with other dogs, sitters, if they have any separation anxiety, aggression, resource guarding issues, etc. If they have been through any trauma or have any known specific triggers, please let me know so I can keep your pet, myself, and others safe.
