“Jenny was absolutely amazing. She came over for a meet and greet and brought both the cats and dogs treats. They instantly loved her. She is very responsive and very good with animals. My two dogs and two cats sat at the door after she left waiting for her to come back. She sends daily updates and took such great care of all of my four-legged kids. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants their animals to be well cared for. Thanks again Jenny!”

“We just got back from our trip and couldn't be happier with how everything went! This was our first time booking Alex and we were a little nervous leaving our two dogs, Blush and Shadow, but any worry disappeared quickly. We came home to happy, well cared for pups and a home in perfect condition. Alex was attentive, reliable, and clearly gave them so much love. We could tell right away that the dogs had been in great hands. We'll absolutely be booking again for our next trip highly recommend! 🐾”
“Aurora was truly a gift having her dog-sit our precious girl Sadie. She was caring, responsive, gave many updates throughout the long weekend and made me feel at ease while I was away knowing that my dog was in good hands. Thank you Aurora. You are top on my list for future dog-sitting needs.”

Because my schedule is highly flexible, I can easily adapt to your pup's regular feeding, walking, and nap schedules without disruption. With 8 years of personal experience raising my own dogs—including a Havanese for 6 years and a dachshund, schnauzer mix for 8 years—I am deeply familiar with managing daily feeding routines and bathroom schedules. I provide a safe, reliable environment by sticking strictly to your instructions, keeping a watchful eye on your pet, and maintaining a predictable, stress-free routine while you are away.
“Andrew was great! He was attentive of Timon and updated me on how he was doing throughout the day. Timon chomped down on a Christmas light and Andrew was quick to respond to get it out of his mouth and put the pieces where he couldn't get them. Will definitely reach out to Andrew again!”

“Amy is the best dog sitter we could have asked for. I pride myself on how much I take my dogs on adventures but Amy even surpassed what I do for my own dog! Amy took my dog on numerous wonderful adventures while sending me amazing pictures from their adventures. When Amy left she left a gorgeous hand drawn picture of our dog. I recommend Amy to anyone with a pet that they like and want to leave in good hands. 5 stars. A+ dog sitting! Will hire again!”

“Katelyn was a wonderful sitter for our w golden retrievers. We have an older golden and a large 1 year old golden puppy who is a handful- and she managed them both beautifully. She sent regular updates and photos, and also left our house better than she found it.”

“Tatyanan was incredible kind and supportive throughout the whole process. I had never used Rover, let alone a pet sitter. Before even booking with her she came to meet my cats and I and walk me through the process. While I was out of state for my fiance's surgery, she went above and beyond to make sure that my cats were taken care of, regularly sending pictures, and that the place stayed clean from pet messes. I greatly appreciate Tatyana and would absolutely book her again! Thank you Tatyana!!”

About: If your pet needs more than just someone to fill a bowl and open a door — I'm your person. I have years of hands-on experience working in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) at one of the Bay Area's top specialty and emergency veterinary hospitals. Every day, I manage medically complex patients, administer advanced treatments, and monitor critical conditions in a high-acuity environment. This is my professional foundation — not just a hobby. What sets me apart: I bring veterinary-level skill into a calm, home environment. I specialize in senior and hospice pets, pets with medical needs, and anxious pets who don't thrive in traditional boarding. I can confidently administer oral medications, injectable medications, subcutaneous fluids, and inhaled medications — all following your veterinarian's prescribed care plan using medications you provide. My home is intentionally quiet and controlled — no overcrowding, no chaos. I take very limited pets at a time so every animal gets individualized, attentive care. I notice the subtle things: changes in breathing, appetite shifts, stress signals, and comfort levels. Pet care isn't a side gig for me — it's an extension of what I already do professionally. My life revolves around animal care — both professionally and at home. I intentionally structure my schedule so that every pet in my care gets consistent routines, timely medications, regular potty breaks, and attentive monitoring throughout the day and night. I don't overbook. Your pet is never an afterthought — they're my priority. In my home: My home is intentionally set up to be calm, quiet, and controlled. I take very limited pets at a time — no overcrowding, no chaotic energy. Your pet gets consistent daily routines (feeding, potty breaks, rest, and activity), attentive monitoring throughout the day and night, and safe, supervised backyard access. I maintain a predictable environment so your pet can settle in and feel secure — not overwhelmed. In your home: When I care for pets in the client's home, I follow your pet's existing routines as closely as possible. I keep everything familiar — same feeding schedule, same potty routine, same sleeping spots. I provide updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. For medical visits, I arrive on time, administer medications or treatments per your veterinarian's instructions, and make sure your pet is comfortable before I leave. For all pets in my care: I monitor for subtle changes in behavior, appetite, energy, and comfort. I administer medications (oral, injectable, inhaled) and subcutaneous fluids as prescribed by your vet. I never rush. I never overbook. Every pet gets my full attention and genuine care.

About: I’ve been lucky to care for dogs, cats, and bunnies through every stage of life, from playful puppies and kittens to sweet senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. I’ve also pet sat for others for extended periods of time, including 4 to 6 weeks at a time, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pets and home in someone else’s hands. I care for each pet like they’re part of my own family. I take the time to learn their routine, personality, likes, dislikes, and comfort level so they feel safe, loved, and understood while you’re away. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, all dog sizes, and pets who need medication or a little extra attention. Whether your pet is playful and energetic, shy and cautious, cuddly, independent, or in their senior years, I’ll meet them where they are with patience, kindness, and lots of love. My goal is to give you peace of mind and make your pet feel comfortable, cared for, and never alone. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and makes it easy for me to fit pet care into my day. I’m happy to make time for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting based on your pet’s needs. I understand how important consistency is, so I’ll follow your pet’s usual routine for feeding, walks, playtime, medication, and companionship. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel comfortable and connected while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I know it can feel stressful to leave your pet in someone else’s care, so I do everything I can to make the experience as smooth and reassuring as possible for both you and your pet. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll follow your instructions closely and maintain their normal routine as much as possible. Whether that includes feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication, litter box care, cuddle time, or simply keeping them company, I’ll make sure their needs are met with patience and attention. I understand that pets thrive on consistency, and keeping their routine familiar helps them feel secure while you’re away. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual personality and comfort level. Some pets love lots of interaction and play, while others prefer a calmer approach and need time to build trust. I’m happy to adapt my care to what makes your pet feel most comfortable and relaxed. Safety is extremely important to me. I’m careful with doors, gates, leashes, harnesses, and home access, and I always double-check that pets are secure before entering or leaving the home. I also pay attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy level, or anything else that may be important, and I’ll communicate with you promptly if I notice any concerns. I’ll treat your home with the same respect and care that I would want someone to show my own. You can also expect regular updates and photos so you can feel connected and reassured while you’re away. My goal is for you to return to a happy, comfortable pet and have complete peace of mind knowing they were cared for with kindness, responsibility, and genuine affection.
“Rose did an excellent job watching our two doodles. Both of them are a bit of a handful as one is a senior with incontinence issues (he needs regular outsides and diaper changes) while the other is younger and requests regular attention. Rose arrived on time, she made sure both dogs had regular breaks and she shared lots of pictures. We will definitely work with her again.”

About: Since I was born, I have had pets running around my house and have been taking care of them for as long as I can remember. Throughout my life, I have had 5 cats and 3 dogs and I know everything there is to know about taking care of them. I will make sure your pets get the same love that my pets get at home. I don't have a job right now so I have plenty of time to hang out with your pets, but I will update my availability when I do find a job. I live in an area with lots of open walking space and places to use the bathroom. There is a park close by with wide open areas that I know pets would love to roam and explore.
“Nancy was absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of puppy while we were away and gave us complete peace of mind. She kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the stay, and it was clear that Onyx was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. She went above and beyond, and we truly appreciated all the love and attention she gave him. I would absolutely book with Nancy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter. Thank you so much, Nancy!”

About: I have taken care of friend's and dogs of significant others over the past two decades. I have the most experience with small and big dogs. It doesn't seem like my friends have had many medium-sized dogs. From leisurely sniffer walks to 10 mile runs, I cover a wide range of doggie needs. From homebody to outdoor enthusiast, I have expreience in meeting the needs of dogs at various energy levels. I have time to do morning, noon and evening care for both cats and dogs. From walks, runs and play time for dogs to playtime, movie time and cuddles for cats. I am a lover of cooking so no peculiar food preparation needs of your pet is too peculiar. I'm up for a challenge! I currently do not offer boarding in my home but am comfortable to providing care or home stays if needed. I have done live-in care for friends who have dogs and cats and am always respectful of the space. My goal is to provide care as similar as possible to what the owners provide on a normal basis, to help the cat or dog feel the most comfortable while their humans are away.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Canyon Heights
Kaila recently house sat for us, taking care of our young energetic dog and two middle aged cranky cats. She did a wonderful job! We got regular updates and photos about all the pets, so we never had to worry or wonder. The most telling thing for us was how much more relaxed all three of our pets were when we got home. Usually when we come back from vacation, there is an adjustment period as they destress; that didn’t happen at all this time! They were happy to see us but seemed so relaxed and well cared for. We could not have asked for a better experience!
Trina is amazing! For our first time with her, she made us feel like we were leaving our fur baby with a family member. She gave us consistent updates each day, asked us questions, and made sure to meet us and our dog days before the scheduled sitting. Kind and thoughtful, we recommend Trina to anyone looking for a sitter.

Sahil was an amazing dog sitter! He was very responsive and communicative throughout the entire stay, which gave us great peace of mind. He took wonderful care of our dog for a few days, and it’s clear that he genuinely loves and understands pets. The best part was seeing how happy and relaxed our dog was when we returned, which really showed how well he was treated. We would absolutely trust Sahil again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!

Read my other review! I will Only use Aurora to watch my babies. This time one of mine even threw up and she was SO kind about, cleaned it up, informed me, and even saved what he threw up (a foreign object) so I could Look at it. If that’s not a real dog mom idk what is!

Rose did an excellent job watching our two doodles. Both of them are a bit of a handful as one is a senior with incontinence issues (he needs regular outsides and diaper changes) while the other is younger and requests regular attention. Rose arrived on time, she made sure both dogs had regular breaks and she shared lots of pictures. We will definitely work with her again.
