“Jennifer was great with my senior dog and 10 months old kitten who is very active. She took amazing pictures and left the house spot clean. Would definitely use her again.”

“Aurora was truly a gift having her dog-sit our precious girl Sadie. She was caring, responsive, gave many updates throughout the long weekend and made me feel at ease while I was away knowing that my dog was in good hands. Thank you Aurora. You are top on my list for future dog-sitting needs.”

“QT did an amazing job taking care of our elderly special needs boy and making sure he got his medicine. We loved her updates and pictures and the house looked great when we got home.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter! Amy went above and beyond while caring for our dog and cat, especially when our dog unexpectedly needed surgery during our trip. Amy was calm, reliable, and incredibly attentive—sending thoughtful updates and making sure they had food, toys, and attention. We came home to a spotless house and a sweet surprise: a painting Amy made of our pets! Her kindness and creativity really touched us. We’re so grateful and would absolutely trust her again in a heart beat.”

“Our puppy is a handful so we have a lot that we asked Victoria to pay attention to - she always took our instructions to heart and I really appreciated that! Our pup had a great time”

About: Hello! After many years working in IT, I’ve happily retired to follow my heart—becoming a full-time dog mom. I’m warm, caring, and detail-oriented, but most importantly, I truly love dogs! I share my life with Bo, my joyful 4-year-old girl. She enjoys at least three walks a day and trips to the dog park almost every day. Your furry friend will get the same love, attention, and fun-filled activities as Bo does—plenty of walks, playtime, and companionship. As a photographer, I’ll also keep you connected with your pup by sending photo and video updates as often as you’d like. If your dog stays with us for a longer visit, you may even receive a beautiful portrait as a keepsake. 💛 Love, play, laughter, and tail wags are all here waiting for your fur baby! I’m home full-time, so I can give plenty of attention and care. I usually take the dogs out in the morning, around noon, and in the evening—most often to the nearby dog park. We also have a spacious garden courtyard where the dogs can walk and explore if we’re not heading out of the building. We have a beautiful, walled garden courtyard where the dogs can safely walk and explore, and the Fremont Central Park Dog Park is just a few minutes away. My 4-year-old dog, Bo, is a sweet and friendly girl who loves both people and other dogs—she’ll be a wonderful companion for your fur baby
“Amazing pet sitter! I had a last minute trip and was scrambling to find a sitter. Lauren sent daily photos and took great care of my pets and my home. Will definitely contact again!”

About: I am new to Rover but I have been pet sitting for friends and through word of mouth for the last five years! It is always a joy for me! I am currently working part time so I have a lot of time to help others with pet care. I can travel to you and I can stay over night. I am able to stay with your pet and keep them company over night or just for a visit. I’m used to caring for dogs and cats!
“Su took such great care of our dog Harley while we were out of town. She took her for daily walks and followed all of our care instructions. She even cared for my plants while we were away. We feel so lucky to have found Su!”

“Rose did an excellent job watching our two doodles. Both of them are a bit of a handful as one is a senior with incontinence issues (he needs regular outsides and diaper changes) while the other is younger and requests regular attention. Rose arrived on time, she made sure both dogs had regular breaks and she shared lots of pictures. We will definitely work with her again.”

About: I've taken care of a variety of dogs growing up. Now we own a well trained labradoodle that we adopted and trained from a puppy. We can help your dog learn tidbits of obedience while under our care or make sure they are maintaining their obedience or tricks away from home. We will always be home to watch after your loved one. My wife works hybrid schedule and I work from home so someone will always be home to watch your loved one. We prioritize twice daily walks at a minimum and potty breaks at least every few hours. I have a fenced patio for any dogs ready to bolt out of the door. We will always leash your dog on walks and if your dog doesn't get along with our dog we will keep them seperate and walk them at different times. Your dogs care is my number one priority.
About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats since age 4. My pets are part of the family and your dogs will be treated as such as well I am currently taking care of my mother so I have plenty of time to take care of pets. They will be well looked after I have a fenced backyard and a second back yard that is the water company land but it is also fenced and will allow the dog more room to roam supervised
About: I’ve been known for taking care of our friends’ dogs as if they are my own. From few hours to 5 weeks, dogs of different sizes have been under my care which had led to many of my friends recommending me to start Rover. As a runner and recreational tennis player, I feel confident providing the best physical care for the puppies — going out on runs and doing indoor tugging activities. I will always be looking out to see if the puppies are comfortable and pouring them with love. Also, be prepared to get showered with tons of pics and stories of how your puppies spent their time during their stay! My dog-friendly place will be a safe, quiet heaven for your puppies — with multiple parks nearby, including a fenced dog park, where puppies can enjoy running while on/off leash (I prefer not doing off-leash when outside unless it's fenced yard or dog park). As a dedicated dog lover with a full-time job (weekdays, 2 PM to 10 PM but can come home for dinner around 6 pm), I’ve structured my schedule to ensure your furry friend gets the best care possible. Here’s what you can expect: - Reliable Availability: I plan potty breaks at least three times a day—typically around 7-8 AM, 12 PM-2 PM, and 10-11 PM—so your pup’s needs are always met. - Plenty of Companionship: Your dog will have company for most of the day, with alone time never exceeding 8 hours. - Daily Exercise: I take multiple short walks every day, giving your pup fresh air and a chance to stretch their legs. - Flexible Coordination: I’m happy to work with you to ensure your dog’s care schedule fits seamlessly with mine. - Personalized Attention: Every pup in my care receives love, attention, and care tailored to their specific needs. Rest assured, your four-legged family member will be in loving and responsible hands while you’re away! I live in a dog-friendly apartment in a safe and welcoming residential area of San Jose. My home is located right next to a fully fenced dog park, where your pup can safely sniff, run around, and socialize with other friendly dogs. This ensures they get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation during their stay. For added peace of mind, I have a reliable car and am prepared to transport your pet to the nearest veterinary urgent care if needed. My apartment is clean, secure, and designed with pets in mind, offering a comfortable environment where your furry friend will feel right at home. Whether it’s playtime at the park or cozy downtime indoors, your dog will be cared for in a safe, enriching environment that prioritizes their happiness and well-being.
“Kimberly was such an amazing dog and house sitter. Since we were planning a big trip we wanted to interview a few options to take care of our 2 boys while we were away. Kimberly was so professional and responsive from the first message, throughout the stay and wrapping up with the boys. She asked great questions prior to the stay to ensure we could be confident our boys were in great hands. Highly recommend and plan to have her take care of the boys again in the future.”

“Suky was fantastic. Great communicator, knowable, responsible, flexible. Our GSD Sansa was recently diagnosed w/ Cushing's Disease and needed medicine and some extra attention. Suky took everything in stride and got along famously w/ Sansa. We would book Suky again in a heartbeat. Thanks Suky!”

“I am so glad to have found Saana and Nitin to take care of Sammy! Sammy hurt his dew claw just days before we left for our trip and needed medicine to be administered. Saana followed all my instructions to the T and took great care of Sammy. She is not only affectionate but also honest, responsible and flexible. I was at ease during my trip and will definitely hire her again in the future!”

So happy to have Aurora back to watch our pups in our home. She keeps our two mini doodles safe, fed, exercised and loved. Since one is a puppy (about 10-months, the safety part is especially key and can take more effort). Her photos and updates are so helpful as well. She truly cares about our pups. And our home looks great when we get home, which is always a bonus coming back from a trip.

Shivani was incredible and the best sitter we’ve had! She took such great care of our pup, our two cats, and our home. Our pup is fairly reactive and has some big feelings about the world, so it can be hard to find people she is comfortable with. She seemed to be quite at ease with Shivani and enjoyed her time with her! Our shy cat also loved Shivani! Shivani also sent a lot of updates about our pets, which was soooo incredibly helpful and really put us at ease while we were away! Truly can’t say enough positive things about her and we will definitely ask her to sit for us in the future!

Madeline was very professional and accommodating, she immediately connected with our dog and played with her until she was completely tired out. She definitely has a way with dogs and I would recommend her for anyone looking for house sitting for their pet.
Working with Vanessa is the best! Our cat adores her. Vanessa is one of our cat’s top favorite people of all time. Vanessa takes such great care of him, and left our home in great condition too as an added bonus. She is very communicative and caring. Thanks, Vanessa!

Tatyanan was incredible kind and supportive throughout the whole process. I had never used Rover, let alone a pet sitter. Before even booking with her she came to meet my cats and I and walk me through the process. While I was out of state for my fiance's surgery, she went above and beyond to make sure that my cats were taken care of, regularly sending pictures, and that the place stayed clean from pet messes. I greatly appreciate Tatyana and would absolutely book her again! Thank you Tatyana!!

Rose did an excellent job watching our two doodles. Both of them are a bit of a handful as one is a senior with incontinence issues (he needs regular outsides and diaper changes) while the other is younger and requests regular attention. Rose arrived on time, she made sure both dogs had regular breaks and she shared lots of pictures. We will definitely work with her again.

This was the first time Melissa watched our two large dogs. It was a week long booking and it could not have gone better. Care was great. Communication was great. Reliability was great. Dogs were happy. Caring for our dogs is complicated enough but there were several occasions during our trip that Melissa went above and beyond to keep us informed. I really appreciated that. I would highly recommend Melissa.
Highly recommend Sahil if you are looking for someone to treat your fur babies like theirs and take care of them just like you would. Sahil made sure that our fur babies are given all the love and care they needed while we were out. Sahil communicated regularly with us and was always available when needed. 5 stars from us. Will definitely be booking him again! !

We are thankful for having met Dixie and for her expertise in handling two elder dogs. One who is usually very anxious when we leave took to Dixie with no problem. Looking forward to future sitting from Dixie. Thank you so much and we felt our furry family members were in good hands.

Stacey is an amazing sitter! She did an excellent job caring for our little doggie, as if he were her own. He is a special one with quirks, diet needs and meds and none of that phased her. She did her best to make him feel loved while we were away. We received regular updates which really helped us to feel better about leaving him behind.

Happy and relieved to have found Alani on Rover after our previous pet sitter moved out of state! Alani was kind enough to come by beforehand to do a meet and greet with the pups and entire family. We knew the pups would be in great hands after that first meet! Alani sent pictures and kept me updated while we were away on our trip. We will definitely hire her again the next time we are out of town!
