We decided to do an initial meet-and-greet beforehand so we could get to know Cecilia and Ethan and make sure they were the right fit, and I’m so glad we did! I shared a detailed care guide with them, and they followed everything to a tee. They were incredibly responsible, attentive, and responsive throughout our entire trip. They also went above and beyond by taking our dogs out to the lake and even to Monterey! We received lots of photos and videos every day, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. They took good care of Baxter, enquired about his schedule and made sure Baxter is comfortable in their home. Yukon tried to get Baxter to play but Baxter, being older now, did not want to play and Yukon was content with being chill and giving him space. Baxter usually is not comfortable in other’s homes but he had a good time with Divya and Shane. Would highly recommend Divya and Shane and will be definitely be leaving Baxter with them again.”

“Ashley is absolutely incredible. She typically checks in on our cat and cares for him while we’re away, and he absolutely adores her! And so do I, I couldn’t ask for a better cat sitter and I hope I never have to! My cat is very spoiled, he likes to be pet while he eats, which I told her, and she always pets him during mealtime. He also loves to cuddle, he’s a huge cuddle bug, and Ashley always lets him walk all over her until he finds the perfect spot to get cozy on her lap (& gets ready for more pets and snuggles), which she of course obliges. He’s also super active and requires ample play time- she plays with him each visit, switching up the toys when he gets bored, and cleaning up fallen feathers when our feather toy takes a beating. Where she goes above and beyond- our place gets cold in the winter and I told her to turn on the heater for him during her visits to keep the house comfortable for him, and she did. If the litter gets out of control and starts making its way out of the box- she vacuums it. Ashley also just recently did a couple of visits (walks) with my dog for the first time, and she was so great with her too! Ashley truly is amazing. She’s kind, trust worthy, responsible, and funny! I absolutely love reading her visit notes, she really captures their essence. Not only are they super thorough, but you can tell she really cares about them. Look no further- Ashley’s the real deal. About: We’ve had pets all our lives. Currently, we have two cats. For the most part, someone is always WFH. The only day one of us isn’t WFH is Thursday. If we know early enough, we can flex our schedules if any sitting is needed on Thursday. We’ve watched bunnies, cats, and dogs for friends/family including giving medication. We have had no aggression from our pets with the pets we’ve watched. We have a second room(atm being used as an office/guest room), so if you want your pet separate from ours pets, that is something we can accommodate. For dogs during boarding, our household prefers dogs that tend to ignore our cats. Also, we have a preference for senior dogs since they tend to be low energy and do not require long walks to use the restroom. For cats, we have experience with all kinds of energy and ages. If you have a cat with a lot of energy, our Taro girl has shown that she loves playing with all the energetic kitties and helps them come out of their shell. However, both our cats can adapt to senior cats as they both love to lounge. We are willing to negotiate our prices if you believe your pet to be low maintenance or if for example doggy daycare, your pet would be with us for less than 7 hours. Just ask and we can see what we can do during the meet and greet. There is usually always someone at home except Thursday. If you need sitting help on a Thursday, reach out early and we can see about flexing our WFH schedule for that week. One of us is a morning person and the other an evening person in case you have a pet with a weird schedule. We ask for a clear schedule such as when to walk and feed and follow it. This information will always vary depending on the pet or even if they are on medication. For all pets, we’ve given them some space, especially from our pets and seen if they can interact or not depending on what their owners want. We also try to incorporate playtime if they want that.

About: I am a dog mom since 2020 when we got our first dog, a golden doodle and since then I have been around him and his friends. Dogs keep me energetic and lively. I talk to them and treat them like babies. My motherly instincts for dogs are no different from taking care of a human being. Since I got my baby, I have researched and have been enhancing my knowledge to take better care of him each day. Whenever I get an opportunity to stay around any dog, it makes me feel very blissful. I have many dogs in my family and friends groups. I keep my house very clean so they do not eat anything from ground. Even for emergencies, I have made an emergency kit which is ready with Charcoal, ear wipes, tweezer and 3% hydrogen peroxide (to induce vomiting) in case they ingest something. I know how to handle normal doggy issues that could occur and even how to handle an emergency situation. If needed I can go to vet immediately. For info, nearest vet to my place is 1 mile ( Golden paws Vet clinic) and nearest emergency (Beacon Veterinary specialist) is 6.5 miles. Your pets safety will be my TOP priority. I am full time at home and will have dedicated time to spend with dogs. I play with them, do stimulating activities as I do with my dog. Your dog will be no different to my own. I have a fenced yard and a long side yard where I play fetch 2-3 times with my dog. I am very creative with playing activities. I am well versed in case of emergency as I keep myself well informed with the knowledge needed to keep pets safe. Important note : Please make sure your dog is up to date with shots and rabies vaccine. Provide a proof you first bring in your dog for day care or boarding.

When walking outside the home, I will always keep your dog(s) on a leash to avoid any unexpected situations. I’ll be mindful avoiding other dogs and heavily trafficked areas to ensure safety. I tend to walk in the morning and afternoon when it’s not too hot on their paws. I carry a portable water bowl to keep hydrated and medical pet kit with me at all times. I will stay in constant communication with pet owner(s) on their pets’ activity through the Rover app or by text. Please provide me with any emergency contacts and safety instructions you would like me to follow in case of an emergency or natural disaster arises. I use Uber to get around, Uber also offers a pet-friendly service if needed. I can provide daily dog walks around the neighborhood, go to a local park, &/or play in the backyard.

About: I have a beautiful cat, Charlie. I learned a lot about cats from him. I’ve also had the privilege of working with Much Love (dog foster), NKLA (No-Kill Los Angeles, dog care taker) and the Marin Humane Society ( cat care taker), where I gained hands-on experience caring for pets of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. More recently I fostered Timon, a handsome husky, and found a furrever home for him. I love pets and have lots of patience. I’m currently working from home. And my working schedule is flexible. I can work around the schedule to fit pet care in. So I am available most time of the week. I have a fenced yard. My cat Charlie, he just doesn’t care. He is ok with other cats and dogs, based on past experience. No children at home.

“Divya and Shane were amazing with Baxter and their dog Yukon is a really sweet dog too. Divya and Shane were flexible and accommodating with the pickup and dropoff times. They took good care of Baxter, enquired about his schedule and made sure Baxter is comfortable in their home. Yukon tried to get Baxter to play but Baxter, being older now, did not want to play and Yukon was content with being chill and giving him space. Baxter usually is not comfortable in other’s homes but he had a good time with Divya and Shane. Would highly recommend Divya and Shane and will be definitely be leaving Baxter with them again.”
