I was honestly a little nervous at first since I had never used Rover before or had strangers care for our dogs, especially since one of our dogs requires daily medication. We decided to do an initial meet-and-greet beforehand so we could get to know Cecilia and Ethan and make sure they were the right fit, and I’m so glad we did! I shared a detailed care guide with them, and they followed everything to a tee. They were incredibly responsible, attentive, and responsive throughout our entire trip. About: I have been taking care of pets basically all my life, at my grandma house we use to have a lot of animals, and she taught me the love that they need and now I want to keep sharing that love. About: We’ve had pets all our lives. Currently, we have two cats. For the most part, someone is always WFH. The only day one of us isn’t WFH is Thursday. If we know early enough, we can flex our schedules if any sitting is needed on Thursday. We’ve watched bunnies, cats, and dogs for friends/family including giving medication. We have had no aggression from our pets with the pets we’ve watched. We have a second room(atm being used as an office/guest room), so if you want your pet separate from ours pets, that is something we can accommodate. For dogs during boarding, our household prefers dogs that tend to ignore our cats. Also, we have a preference for senior dogs since they tend to be low energy and do not require long walks to use the restroom. For cats, we have experience with all kinds of energy and ages. If you have a cat with a lot of energy, our Taro girl has shown that she loves playing with all the energetic kitties and helps them come out of their shell. However, both our cats can adapt to senior cats as they both love to lounge. We are willing to negotiate our prices if you believe your pet to be low maintenance or if for example doggy daycare, your pet would be with us for less than 7 hours. Just ask and we can see what we can do during the meet and greet. There is usually always someone at home except Thursday. If you need sitting help on a Thursday, reach out early and we can see about flexing our WFH schedule for that week. One of us is a morning person and the other an evening person in case you have a pet with a weird schedule. We ask for a clear schedule such as when to walk and feed and follow it. This information will always vary depending on the pet or even if they are on medication. For all pets, we’ve given them some space, especially from our pets and seen if they can interact or not depending on what their owners want. We also try to incorporate playtime if they want that.

Both of us are home full-time, with no kids and no pets of our own, so your dog(s) or cat(s) gets our undivided attention rather than fitting in around a job or a household routine. With two of us in the home, we can cover any schedule your animal needs, whether that's specific feeding times, medication a few times a day, or simply consistent company and playtime throughout the day. If one of us needs to step out, the other is always here, so your cat is never left alone for long. We're also equipped for whatever the situation calls for. We have crates and carriers on hand, and a large SUV if transport is ever needed, whether that's a vet visit, a pickup or drop-off, or anything else that comes up. Because we no longer have pets of our own, your cat isn't sharing our time, space, or attention with a resident animal. Our days are genuinely built around being available and present, which is exactly the kind of routine that comes from over 20 years of fostering. We own our home, which includes a large fenced yard and patio, giving pets plenty of safe space to run, play, and explore outside. We have no neighboring animals, so there are no surprise fence-line encounters or added stress from unfamiliar pets nearby. For dogs, we get outside for walks every day, rain or shine, so your pet stays on their normal exercise routine even while away from home. Indoors, pets have the run of a calm, comfortable home rather than being confined to one room. We tailor our approach to each animal's personality, whether that means a structured routine, extra quiet time, or simply consistent companionship throughout the day. For longer stays we can send pictures too. We have an established relationship with our own veterinarian and are comfortable handling special needs animals, including pets on medication schedules, seniors with mobility or dietary needs, or animals recovering from illness or injury. This comes directly from over 20 years of fostering through Furry Friends Rescue, where we regularly cared for animals with medical or behavioral needs that required extra attention and consistency. Whatever the service, boarding, drop-in visits, or house sitting, your pet gets a safe, secure environment, plenty of space, and two experienced caregivers who know how to watch for and respond to their individual needs.

About: We have shared our home with dogs and cats for over 30 years. For more than two decades, we've served as a foster home for Furry Friends Rescue, caring for dogs and cats of every age, breed, temperament, and medical need while they waited for their forever homes. If one of us needs to step out, the other is always here, so your cat is never left alone for long. We're also equipped for whatever the situation calls for. We have crates and carriers on hand, and a large SUV if transport is ever needed, whether that's a vet visit, a pickup or drop-off, or anything else that comes up. Because we no longer have pets of our own, your cat isn't sharing our time, space, or attention with a resident animal. Our days are genuinely built around being available and present, which is exactly the kind of routine that comes from over 20 years of fostering. We own our home, which includes a large fenced yard and patio, giving pets plenty of safe space to run, play, and explore outside. We have no neighboring animals, so there are no surprise fence-line encounters or added stress from unfamiliar pets nearby. For dogs, we get outside for walks every day, rain or shine, so your pet stays on their normal exercise routine even while away from home. Indoors, pets have the run of a calm, comfortable home rather than being confined to one room. We tailor our approach to each animal's personality, whether that means a structured routine, extra quiet time, or simply consistent companionship throughout the day. For longer stays we can send pictures too. We have an established relationship with our own veterinarian and are comfortable handling special needs animals, including pets on medication schedules, seniors with mobility or dietary needs, or animals recovering from illness or injury. “I am happy we found Xiaokun. Our foster fail puppy who is a 6 month German Shepherd went to him for multiple doggy day care days and one boarding visit. She came back each time happy and tired. “We had such a great experience with Cecilia and Ethan! I was honestly a little nervous at first since I had never used Rover before or had strangers care for our dogs, especially since one of our dogs requires daily medication. We decided to do an initial meet-and-greet beforehand so we could get to know Cecilia and Ethan and make sure they were the right fit, and I’m so glad we did! I shared a detailed care guide with them, and they followed everything to a tee. They were incredibly responsible, attentive, and responsive throughout our entire trip. About: I have been taking care of pets basically all my life, at my grandma house we use to have a lot of animals, and she taught me the love that they need and now I want to keep sharing that love. I’m a staying at home mom for now so I have most of the time free to play with animals, give them love and take care of them. At my house we have plenty of space where they can stay and play and where I’m able to take care of them all the time

She hosted our dog for the weekend and shared photos and videos of their time together. The weekend seems to have gone well. Kristy was also quick to respond through the app over the weekend and was flexible with drop off/pick up times. We would definitely have Kristy dog sit Moka again.”
About: Here to help, here to care, prefer other calm non shedding 25-50lb well behaved and calm dogs My intention is to offer reasonably priced care to others's dogs who worry about their pet like their own child - i feel this way about my own pet so wanted to jump in and help some one else out who has similar dogs like mine (to allow a suitable mutual match, i have strong preferences for calmer, 4-5+ aged 25-50lb female spayed dogs who will get along well with my dog and don't require excessive entertaining and minimum care. I would also need to be able to keep them contained in a large room with a pet gate / room divider at time or in a crate if they are used to it if i step away for a hour or two (at most 4 hrs). I will have cameras and bark alerting systems to monitor their wellbeing. I currently work from home 2-3 days of the week and I can be home on weekends by appointment I would host dogs who can be left home for a couple hours at a time in a contained crate / playpen to run my errands or small appointments on the weekend and weekday evenings Fenced yard, caring kid and friendly doodle at host's home, access to walking trails 2-3x a day, love spending time outdoors with dogs and playing fetch or tug rope with them
