About: Our own furbabies are reactive so I definitely know the struggles of finding someone who understands! I’ve learned a lot of knowledge from our trainer and am very detail oriented/structured when it comes to providing care! I currently work full time but am looking for another source of income when I am free! I am a teacher so I have breaks off when the children do, and have plenty of weekends off as well for date nights, vacations, etc! I only provide pet care in clients home, as boarding in my own home would cause stress to our reactive dogs. Open to learning and sticking to your schedule as much as possible so your furbaby doesn’t experience too much of a drastic change without you there!

About: Hi, I'm Jacob! I'm a 22-year-old college student and former collegiate soccer player with a passion for dogs. I have two dogs of my own and helped raise and train my Bernedoodle from puppyhood, giving me plenty of hands-on experience with puppies and dogs of all ages. I also assist my girlfriend, an active Rover dog walker, on many of her walks and pet care visits. Whether your dog needs an energetic walk, playtime, or extra attention, I'll treat them like they're my own and make sure they receive safe, reliable, and loving care. As a college student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable pet care throughout the week. Between caring for my own dogs and assisting with Rover walks and visits, pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, or extra attention, I'm committed to making sure they get the care and exercise they need. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and have personally trained my Bernedoodle since puppyhood, giving me a strong understanding of dog behavior and routines. About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and a proud dog mom to a 11-year-old Chihuahua mix (Moocow) and an 8-year-old Husky(Maya). I previously hosted on Rover but took a two-year hiatus to focus entirely on Maya’s recovery following a major lung surgery. Now that she is healthy, I am thrilled to open my home to guest pups again! ​Working from home five days a week allows me to provide 100% supervision and companionship. Because Moocow is slowing down, Maya is looking for new playmates! It’s the perfect setup: your dog gets a built-in best friend for exercise and socialization, and I get to provide the high-quality care every pup deserves. ​Whether your dog is a high-energy athlete like Maya or a relaxed senior like Moocow, I have the experience and the heart to make them feel right at home. I am currently working full-time but I work from home 5 days a week. I can provide services such as boarding, day care, and walks. We live in a spacious 1,200 sq. ft. apartment with a secure, fenced-in patio. We’re big on walks here, usually 3 to 4 times a day for about 20–30 minutes each. If the weather is nice and not too toasty for those paws, we love to stay out even longer to explore!

About: I love meeting and caring for dogs, and i live in a simple and comfortable home for new dogs to come and explore. I have a playful 10 y/o Maltese that makes for a great play date. I work from home and have my own dog, so my home is well set up for fur friends to come and hang out at! I live in a 3BR with my dog. Because I have a dog, the house is doggy proof with no snacks or choking hazards lying around.

About: I've walked and fed both my sister's and friend's dogs for the last few years. Been going to the dog park interact w/different breeds of dogs to get used to each of there own quirks and personalities. I work full-time so I can take care of your dogs on the weekends. Some Holidays i should be free, just have to give me heads up. I am available on weekends after 11am I offer care and company for your dogs. I can be an "uncle" for them, when their parents are not home. Essentials such as food water, toys bathroom etc. always kept in mind!

About: Dog Experience: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. When I was growing up, I owned and trained a black Labrador, and later our family adopted a Golden Retriever Labrador mix. My favorite doggy adventures were running on the beach with our sweet Honey, and then bathing her before coming in the door. She passed away last summer due to cancer, and I miss her very much. I currently volunteer at the East Bay SPCA. I am an active member of the Jog-A-Dog program, and exercise shelter dogs by taking them on short 3-mile jogs around parks and neighborhoods. I have experience working with a variety of breeds and temperaments, from adults to puppies, including both anxious, reactive, confident, and laid-back animals. Cat Experience: I also grew up with a stray American shorthair cat who adopted our family when I was in kindergarten. When I would play in my neighborhood, the cat took notice of me, and our bond grew from there. We developed our own sign language, where I would hold out my hand to her, and she would come up to me and lick it, then follow me everywhere. Slowly, she started hanging around our house until my dad finally invited her inside. My mom walked into the living room one afternoon and caught my dad sitting on the couch with the cat purring on his lap. It was then that we all realized that this cat had made its way into our hearts and become a permanent member of our family. I think I'm more of a cat person than a dog person, just because cats always seem to be drawn to me. However, I have a big heart for all types of animals, reptiles, and insects. Other pet experience: In college I adopted a turtle from our neighbor because the owner could no longer care for it. I would take the turtle with me a few times to the park on the weekends, where it could graze on fresh green grass and bask in the sunshine. I also had a few betta fish at the time, and taught them how to leap into the air for a few seconds (with the promise of food, of course). Insect Experience: I love butterflies!! I have always loved butterflies -- my first word was "butterfly". When I was in first grade I was wandering around our neighborhood, waiting for my friend to get home so we could play together. I cam across a Monarch butterfly caught in a spiderweb that was plasterd against the outside windowsill of my neighbor's house. After staring at it for a little while, I noticed the butterfly's wings start to move. I reached my hand into the spiderweb and set the butterfly free. The butterfly crawled onto my hand and it was then that I realized the wings were damaged. My friend came out of her house soon after, and we created a little home for the butterfly to receive plant nectar and water (in a lid). Then my parents arranged to visit my great-grandmother in a nursing home, so I took the butterfly to show her. We traveled by airplane to Ohio. My mom said that my great-grandmother had lived in Pacific Grove, CA, before she was sent to Ohio, and would watch the Monarch butterfly migration take place in her backyard. When my great-grandmother saw the Monarch butterfly I had brought her, she lit up! She still remembered the butterflies from her hometown and was very grateful to see the butterfly alive and well through its journey to Cleveland, OH. Throughout my life I've had multiple experiences with various types of butterflies landing on me while hiking or lounging by the pool with my family. It's always a magical and awe-inspiring experience. I always use positive re-inforcement to redirect behavior through praise and treats. I do not yell or use physical means to get the dog's attention or make commands.

About: I have had pets all my life since I was 2 years old. I have loved all of them with all my heart and soul and treated them as valued family members. I believe that pets make the house a home. Pet care is more than just a chore. It's an honor to do so and make our furry friends feel loved. While I look for my next corporate role, I have plenty of time to take care of your pet's needs. A little about myself: I'm very detail oriented and caring, meaning that your pets will be watched carefully and respectfully. I've been around dogs my whole life and currently have three of my own. I'm open and communicative and I'm always willing to connect with you. I'm a recent college graduate from San Diego State and a Bay Area native! I'm currently back home after graduation and looking for a job in the media industry, currently with a lot of free time on my hands! I'm starting to book for Bay Area residents starting June 14th, 2026 after moving back from San Diego! I will make sure to follow rules that the pet is familiar with (for example: no jumping on couches; going outside for bathroom breaks, etc.) and if the owner is currently training the pet, I will help with that as well.

About: I worked as a vet tech assistant for two years, and have taken care of a multitude of animals, from turtles, to birds, big dogs to baby cats, and almost everything in between. I have also taken my own dogs to training classes and have one certified as an emotional support animal. I have personally had dogs my whole life (cocker spaniels and a German Shepard), and at one point in my life, I lived with the head of the K-9 unit of the flint police department and got to experience how they teach and train their dogs too. while my current dog is staying at my parents, I am looking forward to welcoming new animals into my home to help fill the void for the time being. I am a very kind, caring, and loving person who sometimes relates more to animals than fellow humans :p Right now, I am a stay at home dad who can take care of any pet almost 24/7, as well as being able to take dogs for walks or to the dog park if wanted. My daughter loves animals as well and will be able to play with your pet too. I follow all rules and guidelines set by the owner, I have gates in my house to keep animals and children out of certain areas, will set up a dedicated food and drink area for the animals. We allow dogs and cats on the furniture and in the bed at my house, and will abide by whatever the owner asks of us if we are staying at their home. I may sure to take them outside once every 1-2 hours, as well as a walk twice a day at minimum, and/or a trip to the park or dog park if allowed. I have a mostly fenced in backyard, but still take dogs out to the bathroom on leash. We can also create a dedicated kitty litter spot as well.
