About: Growing up , I was always surrounded by dogs, and their companionship became a constant source of joy and learning. I've had a female Shih Tzu at home for 12 years, and our bond is a true testament to the love and trust that dogs offer. Caring for her, especially as she grows older, has taught me the value of patience, empathy, and unconditional love—qualities that I carry with me in all aspects of life. Over the years, my experiences with dogs—both as a pet owner and a caretaker—have equipped me with a deep understanding of their needs, from playful puppies to senior dogs needing extra care. I believe in creating a comfortable, safe, and nurturing environment for pets, and I take the time to ensure that each dog feels loved and cared for, whether it’s through playtime, walks, or simply giving them attention and affection. What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong bond with dogs and my ability to adapt to their unique needs at different stages of life. I’m particularly skilled in handling senior dogs and providing them with the gentle care they need. Additionally, I have experience training puppies, teaching them basic commands, and helping with housebreaking. Whether your dog needs a little extra care or a playful buddy, I’m here to provide a warm and welcoming environment, just like home. Since I work from home, I have the flexibility to give my full attention to both my dog and any additional pets in my care. I can easily incorporate regular walks, playtime, and feeding into my daily routine, ensuring every dog gets the love and care they need. Whether it's a playful pup or a senior dog needing extra care, I'm always available to provide a comfortable, home-like environment. I care for pets in my home by providing a safe, comfortable environment with plenty of space to roam. We have a fenced yard where dogs can play and relax, and our neighborhood is calm and secure, perfect for easy, stress-free walks. Plus, there's a park nearby where I can take dogs for extra exercise and fun. Whether at home or on a walk, I ensure pets feel comfortable, loved, and well-cared for throughout their stay.
About: I've been a devoted pet caregiver for 9 years, caring for cats, rabbits, and hamsters with love and patience. Over the past year, I've also gained hands-on experience raising my own energetic Border Collie, who is now 10 months old and about 44 lbs. Through daily training, walks, playtime, and caring for a high-energy puppy, I've developed a deeper understanding of dogs' physical and emotional needs. I know that every pet has a unique personality. Whether your pet is playful, energetic, shy, or senior, I always provide patient, attentive, and personalized care to help them feel safe and comfortable while you're away. I also enjoy sending detailed daily updates and plenty of photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I'm currently an MBA student and have just completed my first year. During summer break, I have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time to your pets. During the school year, my classes are primarily in the evenings, allowing me to continue providing reliable daytime care with minimal scheduling conflicts. Because I currently rent my home, I'm unable to offer boarding services. However, I'd be happy to care for your pets in the comfort of their own home through drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting. My goal is always to treat every pet as if they were part of my own family. Since my MBA program starts in mid-August and all my classes are in the evenings, I currently have a flexible schedule during the day. This allows me to dedicate ample time to new opportunities, projects, or commitments without scheduling conflicts. I’m available throughout the daytime and can easily adapt to different time zones or urgent tasks while attending evening classes. I currently rent my home and am unable to offer boarding services at my place. However, I am happy to provide loving and attentive pet care by visiting your home for drop-in visits, dog walking, or house sitting. I understand that pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, and I’m dedicated to making sure they receive the care and attention they deserve while you’re away.

“Chloe came by to our apt 2x day to take care our cat while we were away for 3 days. She stopped by a couple weeks prior to meet us, him and go over the directions for his care. She was quick to reply to messages during the time of booking and throughout. She did a great job keeping out place tidy and our cat looked well taken care of when we returned and on the update photos. Would reach out to Chloe again in the future.”

“Veronica was fantastic with my cats! It was great being able to see how quickly my cats felt comfortable with her. She made sure they were well taken care of and I loved seeing the pictures and videos of her playing my elderly cats they loved the toy that she brought!. I would absolutely recommend Veronica to anyone looking for someone to take care of their pets.”

About: Hi, I’m Cameron. I’m a lifelong dog owner with a very flexible schedule this summer, and I’m offering dog walking and drop-in visits. I’ve cared for dogs my whole life, from large breeds like Rottweilers and Akitas to small ones like Chihuahuas and Mini Aussies. My own dog is a 12-year-old rescue Golden Retriever mix that I’ve had for a decade. Through caring for her, I've gotten very comfortable with senior dog care, administering oral medication, and adjusting to slower-paced routines. I know every dog is different. Some need a good long walk to burn off energy, while others just want a quiet companion and a slow walk around the block. I’m patient and calm, which tends to work really well with dogs that are a bit timid or slow to warm up to new people, especially men. As a teacher on summer break, my schedule is very open and flexible. I have full availability throughout the day, evenings, and weekends between 11am and 10pm, allowing me to provide consistent care and companionship when your dog needs it most. I live in Union City and have my own reliable transportation, so I can easily travel to your home anywhere in the area. Because I am not tied to a typical 9-to-5 office routine, I can offer your pet more than just a quick check-in—I am available for extended walks, midday play sessions, or simply staying present to keep a senior dog or anxious pup company (~30 minutes, if needed). Whether you need a regular weekday routine or last-minute weekend help, I can easily integrate your pet’s needs into my day. Safety and reliability are my top priorities. As a longtime rescue owner and university professional, I treat every pet with the same vigilance and care I give my own. In Your Home & On Walks: I am a respectful guest and a focused handler. I provide my own reliable transportation and come prepared with spare leashes and waste bags. During walks, I am hyper-aware of surroundings to ensure a safe, stress-free experience. In My Home: My environment is fully pet-proofed and secure, featuring a fenced-in yard with no environmental risks. Because of my flexible summer schedule, your dog will enjoy constant supervision and a calm, climate-controlled space to relax. Trust & Communication: I strictly follow all care instructions—from meal timings to medication—and provide regular photo updates so you always have peace of mind.
About: Here to help, here to care, prefer other calm non shedding 25-50lb well behaved and calm dogs My intention is to offer reasonably priced care to others's dogs who worry about their pet like their own child - i feel this way about my own pet so wanted to jump in and help some one else out who has similar dogs like mine (to allow a suitable mutual match, i have strong preferences for calmer, 4-5+ aged 25-50lb female spayed dogs who will get along well with my dog and don't require excessive entertaining and minimum care. I would also need to be able to keep them contained in a large room with a pet gate / room divider at time or in a crate if they are used to it if i step away for a hour or two (at most 4 hrs). I will have cameras and bark alerting systems to monitor their wellbeing. I currently work from home 2-3 days of the week and I can be home on weekends by appointment I would host dogs who can be left home for a couple hours at a time in a contained crate / playpen to run my errands or small appointments on the weekend and weekday evenings Fenced yard, caring kid and friendly doodle at host's home, access to walking trails 2-3x a day, love spending time outdoors with dogs and playing fetch or tug rope with them

I strive to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own! I’m available during the weekdays and weekends to care for your pet. I am able to give my full time and attention to your pet. I love to have a meeting with you and your pet before I take care or walk your pet! This is so I can get a good understanding of what you are looking for and how I can best take care of your pet.

About: I absolutely adore animals. I've grown up with dogs my entire life and currently have two cats at home. Previously experienced with caring for my senior dog who had CKD. I have a lot of experience with dogs and cats of different sizes and temperaments as I'm currently working as a vet assistant and studying to be an RVT. I recognize that every pet parent has their individualized way of caring for their pet and I strive to support that. Your furry kid means a lot and you should feel confident and comfortable with their care. I currently work 4 day weeks, 10 hours a day. I have three days throughout the week and nights after work that are available for walks, drop-in visits and pet sitting. I do my best to maintain a safe environment, staying aware of harmful materials, chemicals or products that a pet could get into. Removing or storing these items safely to avoid any negative exposure. Especially for young pets (and labs) that will eat anything.
“Brianna took very good care of our cats while we were away and they seemed quite affectionate with her. She was very consistent and followed all our instructions. She made sure our older cat ate and our younger cat got lots of play time. She allowed us to enjoy our time away knowing our babies were well cared for.”

About: As a proud parent of a 6-year-old Ragdoll, cats are a central part of my life. I routinely pet-sit for friends during their travels, which has given me extensive experience managing multi-cat households. I understand feline body language, respect their boundaries, and know how to handle everything from energetic play to managing separate feeding schedules and keeping litter boxes pristine. Whether your cat is a social butterfly or a shy kitty who needs time to warm up, they are in safe hands. For the pups, I am all about staying active! I am the go-to hiking and jogging buddy for my friend’s Golden Retriever, so I am well-versed in handling various breeds. My flexible work-from-home schedule blends seamlessly with pet care, allowing me to easily step away for reliable morning cat drop-ins or mid-day dog walks while giving your pets the consistent attention they need. As an outdoor enthusiast who loves hiking, tennis, and Pilates, I have the natural stamina and energy to match active breeds like Golden Retrievers, Doodles, or Corgis on the trails, yet I deeply cherish the quiet, grounding moments—whether that's practicing a workout with a kitty on the mat or providing patient companionship for a shy cat. Because I love to travel myself, I understand exactly how stressful it can be to leave your furry family members behind, which is why I am dedicated to providing the ultimate peace of mind with prompt communication and plenty of happy photo updates. When caring for your cats in the comfort of your own home, my top priority is maintaining their familiar routines to minimize any stress while you are away. I treat your home with the utmost respect, ensuring that everything from meticulous litter box scooping to pristine feeding areas is kept exactly as you like it. I know that cats are creatures of habit who feel safest in their own territory, so I tailor my visits entirely to their unique comfort levels—whether that means engaging an energetic breed with interactive toys, giving gentle chin scratches, or simply offering a quiet, reassuring presence nearby for more independent kitties. You can travel with absolute peace of mind knowing your home is secure and your cats are receiving dedicated, loving care, complete with detailed updates and plenty of photos after every single visit.

About: Dogs make my heart happy, and so do cats! :) I loved the times that I got to spend and care for my beloved Moki who went to heaven in Dec. 2023. I miss her every single day. I work as a substitute teacher and painting instructor, which provides me with a flexible schedule to pursue my hobbies and interests. One of my passions in life is dogs. I volunteer with Pets in Need by participating in their Doggy Day Out program. Back in high school, I was voted Most Dependable, and I believe I still hold that title dear to heart whether it's with family, work, friends, and clients. I would do my best to make sure your furry best friend gets lots of pets, play, and potty breaks. :) My schedule is pretty flexible since I work as a substitute teacher and painting instructor. I can easily block off dates so that I can be available. In the summer time, I also work as a summer camp art counselor. I have updated my schedule with the dates that I’m available. :) I know what it's like to have someone reliable and trustworthy to care for your furry best friend. I know that you can depend on me because I will love and care for your pet as if she/he's my own.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Northgate
Han did a great job with my cats. She followed my instructions and took the time to build up some trust with 2 of my cats who get scared and don’t trust right away. I was very happy that she took the time to really play with them as I had requested. My cats told me they would like her to visit them again.

Justin was an excellent pet sitter. He cared for my two cats with daily drop-in visits for an entire month, and I couldn't have been happier with the care they received. His regular updates and photos gave me peace of mind while I was away and reassured me that my cats were happy and well cared for. He also gave plenty of attention and affection to my cat who loves people, which I really appreciated. I felt completely comfortable trusting him with both my pets and my home. I would gladly hire Justin again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter.

Brianna was amazing!! On top of taking care of my cats she also vacuumed and cleaned things up when my cats spilled things over or got into things they weren't supposed to. I also loved her daily photos and recaps which always assured me that the cats were doing well! I would definitely book with Brianna again!

Great experience! Yi-ting was super reliable, on time for all three visits, and took excellent care of my cat. She even cleaned cat bowls and watered my plants, which I really appreciated. My cat really loved her, and I had total peace of mind while I was away. Highly recommend!
