“RJ took great care of Remy on his walk. He’s communicative, friendly, and transparent about everything. It’s my first time using Rover and it can be stressful finding someone to trust your fur baby with but I instantly felt comfortable with RJ and most importantly Remy did. He sent photos and videos throughout the walk which I loved.”

“Jenna has been wonderful walking our senior dog Atlas. Atlas is always so excited to see her and we really appreciate how she caters the walks to how our pup is feeling that day. We can’t recommend her enough :)”

“Elena was amazing! I had a request for dog walking which was very short notice. I'd thrown out my back and she was patient with Nemo and took him on a nice walk. She even spent a few extra mins talking to me about some exercises for my back. I'd definitely recommend and book her again.”

About: I am a dedicated, animal loving veterinary assistant that has been caring for pets for over a decade now. I have many years of experience with cats and dogs, as well as other exotic pets. Currently, I have just moved to Fremont but up until my move, I had been working full time in animal hospitals since 2014. Previously, I was caring for animals in NY for quite some time but am back and living in CA where I have continued to stay in the animal health care field. During that time, I started pet sitting and house sitting about 8 years ago and with a platform like Rover, I’d like to help assist more owners in the local area. It’s important to me to make sure owners feel safe trusting me with their loved ones.. I can assure all those interested in reaching out that I would care for them like they are my own fur babies. I do have more references that you can also reach out to outside of the Rover app if you’d like additional comfort from a satisfied pet parent I’ve helped before. Just ask! Working at different animal hospitals up until now, I have an understanding of what it takes to care for them medically and safely. Even when I start working at another hospital in the local area, in my past experience with other veterinary employers, they will in fact let you work around your Rover clients if something comes up or an animal needs to be assisted. Work usually doesn’t seem to conflict with my outside care for your pets. I’m fairly flexible with being able to come to peoples location and help to care for pets in their own element. They get fed and go out as they would be doing in their normal day to day to keep regularity for them as much as possible. I also have current guinea pigs of my own at home that are my personal pets, so I’m comfortable helping to treat reptiles and small “furry” exotics if need be but that can be discussed. I make sure to always care for others pets just like they were my own.
About: I am proud to be the 'first-call' sitter for my friends and family. They know that when their pets are with me, they aren’t just being 'watched'—they are being cared for by someone who understands their unique personality and needs. This reputation for reliability and genuine love is something I bring to every new dog I meet. Because I work part-time in home-based sales, my schedule is incredibly flexible, allowing me to make your dog’s care the centerpiece of my day. Your pup won’t just be "staying" here; they’ll be integrated into a stable, supervised routine. Morning Momentum: We start the day early with a long walk or backyard play session. My experience raising Poodles and Doodles has taught me that a tired dog is a happy dog!
About: You can rest assured your furry friend will be in capable hands! I’ve cared for two dogs of my own—one since puppy age to old age, and I currently have a 2yr old pup. I enjoy training dogs/believe this is a great way for bonding. I also enjoy being active and playing or taking dogs on walks. I work full time Monday through Friday, therefore weekends are the best if your dog requires round the clock care. If your dog just needs a morning walk and attention in the evening after I am off work, then I can look after them any day of the week. Personally, I like to keep dogs to their daily routine if possible. I do have a 2 year old dog who is very playful and loves to make new friends. Your furry friend would be coming along on our morning and evening walks and a part of before bed playtime!

About: I am a dog owner myself with a 2 year old maltipoo, and I have been taking care of young and senior dogs for friends for two years. I am available most of the time, with my sister helping occasionally. I will walk or run dogs, wash, play with, and easily bond with your dog! Pet-friendly home and yard for safety and space to have fun. Will walk/run dogs to the park and provide potty breaks almost every hour. I always update owners everyday about how their dogs are doing. Happy to take dogs ranging from baby to senior, small to medium, for a couple of hours to weeks! Just let me know anything there is about your dog, and I am looking forward to serving yours! Pet care is part of my daily routine because I make sure my pet is fed, has fresh water, and gets exercise or playtime. I also check that they are healthy and comfortable. Weekly, I clean their living area and restock food or supplies. This routine helps keep my pet happy and healthy. Here’s a clear response you can use (over 25 words): I care for pets by following their normal routines to keep them comfortable and stress-free. This includes feeding them on schedule, providing fresh water, giving them exercise and playtime, and making sure they get plenty of attention. I also monitor their health, clean up after them, and keep their living areas tidy. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow any specific instructions they provide to ensure their pet receives the best care possible.
“My 2 dogs, Kirby and Lucy, the cat Oreo and tortoise Gammy love Jill. She takes such great care of all of them. She attends to each animals unique dietary care just as I would. Jill is very caring and dependable. This is her 3rd time looking after them and will definitely use her again. Highly recommend.”

“Joule had a great time on the walk with Bri. She was very punctual and easy to communicate with. It was my dogs first walk with her. She took great care of him. I will definitely schedule more walks with her in the future.”

About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life. I was raised with bigger dogs, especially Boxers, so I’m very comfortable handling strong, energetic dogs who need structure, exercise, and consistency. Most of my experience comes from caring for my own pets as well as helping family friends when they needed someone reliable to watch their dogs. I’m used to keeping up with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and making sure pets stick to their normal routine. I also volunteered on a farm over the summer, where I helped care for a variety of animals. That experience taught me a lot about responsibility, paying attention to behavior, and adapting to different personalities. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy being around them. I’m currently available on weekdays and have flexibility around my class schedule. This allows me to be consistent and reliable for walks and drop-in visits. I understand how important routine is for pets, so I do my best to show up on time and keep things consistent. I’m also happy to communicate clearly about scheduling and provide updates during visits. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I’m comfortable handling larger breeds and energetic dogs, and I stay aware of my surroundings during walks to keep pets safe at all times. I follow any instructions you provide closely, whether that’s specific feeding routines, medication, leash preferences, or behavior needs. I also make sure doors, gates, and harnesses are secure before and after every visit. I’m happy to send photo updates so you can feel confident and reassured while you’re away.

“Zhengjun is amazing! She’s very reliable and great with communication, always sending lots of photos and updates. My dog absolutely loves her. I’m so grateful for her extra care on rainy days, making sure my dog is clean and dry before heading back into his crate. Highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a thoughtful and caring walker!”

About: I’ve always had dogs in my life, but only in the last few years have I had major care experience of any kind, but I genuinely really enjoy it. I’ve always loved dogs and pets in general and I’d love to have more opportunities I’m not working any jobs right now and want to make some money doing something I enjoy while saving up for things. So I’m free a fair amount of the time I’m sure the type of care I give certain pets will depend on their personal needs since I’m planning on house sitting, but as far as basics go I’ll make sure to be attentive and keep them happy
“I had an unexpected bereavement emergency and was unable to meet Kenneth in person, however he accommodated perfectly to my situation. My dog Tré is usually nervous when meeting new people and Kenneth attended to all of his need to make him comfortable. He displayed great communication and was overall the perfect choice. Highly recommend!”

About: Dogs make my heart happy, and so do cats! :) I loved the times that I got to spend and care for my beloved Moki who went to heaven in Dec. 2023. I miss her every single day. I work as a substitute teacher and painting instructor, which provides me with a flexible schedule to pursue my hobbies and interests. One of my passions in life is dogs. I volunteer with Pets in Need by participating in their Doggy Day Out program. Back in high school, I was voted Most Dependable, and I believe I still hold that title dear to heart whether it's with family, work, friends, and clients. I would do my best to make sure your furry best friend gets lots of pets, play, and potty breaks. :) My schedule is pretty flexible since I work as a substitute teacher and painting instructor. I can easily block off dates so that I can be available. I know what it's like to have someone reliable and trustworthy to care for your furry best friend. I know that you can depend on me because I will love and care for your pet as if she/he's my own.

Jenna can be counted on to take excellent care of your pet. As a first time Rover client, it was comforting to know that she followed my instructions and sent pictures, but more importantly, my dog loves her. Jenna's communication skills are superb and she arrived on time for our meet and greet and for the multiple times she was scheduled to care for my dog. Thank you for your care, Jenna. I will be a repeat client!

Nicole is hands-down the best dog walker we’ve ever had for Rony and Riley. Her communication is consistently excellent, giving us total peace of mind while we’re away from home. It is so clear that she truly loves animals and isn't just doing this for a paycheck; she treats our pups like they are her own. We couldn’t ask for a more trustworthy or caring person to look after our furry family members. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for top-tier care!

We had a wonderful experience with Katherine caring for our two senior dogs. Finding someone you truly trust with senior dogs isn’t easy, and she exceeded our expectations. She spent real quality time with them, was incredibly attentive, and made sure one of them received their medication properly. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such caring and responsible hands. We would absolutely recommend Katherine and will definitely continue using her services in the future. Thanks!

Ray was awesome! This was our first time using Rover for dog walking and he handled our 80 lb dog so easily. Our dog liked his friendly nature as soon as she met him and he made sure to keep her moving during the walk. He also handled her very well when she tried to chase a squirrel at the park. Thank your Ray for being so reliable and friendly with our dog and family.
This was Dana's second time meeting with Marshall. He is weary of strangers and takes a few meetings to warm up to new people. Dana followed our instructions and asked appropriate questions. She also noticed when Marshall's body language was such that he didn't want to be touched and immediately stopped and stepped back. We're going to continue the process and will schedule additional time with Dana.
