Hi! I'm Jenna, and I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Caring for pets isn't just something I do; it's something I truly love. When your pet is with me, they'll be treated like one of my own with plenty of love, attention, and patience. I've been surrounded by pets almost all my life. My first family pets were a dog and a cat, but I've also had a guinea pig, a parakeet, and some fish. I also used to ride horses, so I would say that I'm an animal lover. I've been pet-sitting for years, starting by caring for my first family dog at the age of 7, to watching my neighbors' dogs throughout high school. I've continued working with animals ever since. In addition to pet sitting, I've been fostering kittens for over 12 years. I care for them from tiny babies all the way until they're ready for adoption, and it's one of the most rewarding things I do. My family also has two rescue cats (our "foster fails") that we adopted in 2020 during the pandemic and a rescue dog who joined our family in 2022. They've only made my love for animals grow even more. I also have experience caring for senior pets, bottle-feeding kittens, and administering oral medications, so I'm comfortable caring for pets with a variety of needs. I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet with someone else, which is why I make communication a priority. I'll provide regular updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. I'm dependable, responsible, and always strive to make the experience as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet. At this time, I offer all Rover services except dog boarding and doggy daycare. Since I live with my parents and our rescue dog is most comfortable without unfamiliar dogs in her home, I only offer boarding for cats. I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your furry friend. Jenna was an amazing dog walker for my dog, Oscar. She was incredibly gentle, welcoming, and clearly has a natural way with dogs. Jenna is so lovely and sweet took care of my baby Milo and took him on a long walk. Kept me updated and sent pictures of Milo. My baby boy loves jenna so much and I will absolutely reach out to her again for boarding / walks again.
Jenna did a great job taking care of my dog and cat during the whole holiday week. She walked my dog twice daily and fed both my dog and cat. I really appreciate her reliability and proactive communication. Definitely recommended her and would love to hire her again!

Schedule
I’m currently beginning my career as a school psychologist, so my weekday availability for pet care is in the evenings after 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Since I work in a school setting, I also have school holidays and breaks off, which gives me additional flexibility during those times. My weekends can also be flexible depending on my workload, and I’m always happy to try my best to work with you to find a schedule that best fits you and your pet’s routine.

I offer pet boarding for CATS ONLY. My family and I have a separate unit located behind our home where your kitties would stay, allowing them to have their own quiet and comfortable space. Since we have cats of our own, we keep boarding cats separate to avoid stress for both your pets and ours. There is always someone home to check in on them, make sure they’re fed, and give them plenty of attention and care. For boarding stays, I ask that you provide your cat’s specific food, along with their preferred litter box and litter, so they can feel as at-home as possible. I have plenty of toys available to keep them entertained and engaged. For drop-in visits and house sitting, I focus on keeping your pet comfortable in their own home while providing the best care. I offer both 30-minute and 60-minute drop-in visits, during which I can feed your pets, refresh water, provide playtime and companionship, take dogs on walks if needed, and make sure all of their needs are met. My goal is to ensure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

A typical day
A typical day with the pets I watch is fun and centered around their individual needs. Depending on what your pet needs, we start the day with potty breaks, feeding, and a walk or play session to help them ease into the morning. Throughout the day, I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and enrichment, whether that’s walks, backyard play, toys, or quiet cuddle time. I follow each pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and at home while you’re away. Depending on the service booked, I provide scheduled walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care, making sure pets are never rushed and always feel cared for. I love incorporating fun activities like neighborhood walks, toys, basic training reinforcement, and playtime that matches your pet’s energy level. In the evenings, we wind down with dinner, another potty break or walk, and a relaxed time together. I also send regular updates and photos so you can feel connected and confident that your pet is happy, safe, and well-loved.
