About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life—my first pup joined our family when I was just 6 years old. Since then, I’ve had the joy of caring for over 10 dogs from puppyhood to their senior years. I’m experienced with every life stage, from teaching basic skills to puppies to preparing special meals and giving medications to senior dogs. In my home, dogs are treated like family. I don’t use crates because I believe in creating a stress-free, homey environment. While we don’t share a bed, your dog will have their own comfy spot in my room so they feel safe and secure. I’ve been dog sitting for friends and family for years, and they’ve always encouraged me to offer my care to more dogs—because they see how much I love it. I’d be honored to care for your pup as if they were my own. I have a flexible schedule from June through August since I’m off from work for the summer. Whether you need weekday care, weekend stays, or last-minute help, I’ll do my best to accommodate your needs. Just send me a message and we can work out the best care plan for your pup. I live in a home with a securely fenced yard, giving your dog a safe space to explore and play. We also have two friendly family dogs who can keep your pup company if they enjoy being social—but I always make sure introductions are done slowly and safely to ensure everyone is comfortable. I don’t use crates unless you specifically request it. I believe in giving dogs freedom and comfort in a home-like environment where they can feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. Whether your dog prefers quiet time or playful interaction, I tailor the experience to match their needs and personality. Your pet’s safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities.

“Su was wonderful! Responsive, prompt, treated my cat well, and provided detailed updates. Even moved my garbage cans up and my mail. Thank you so much, would definitely rebook her again!”

“Stacey is wonderful! She is very caring of our senior dog’s needs and feelings. Stacey noticed that Chewy was a little down after my husband answered I left, so she hid some treats in his snuffle mat to get his attention and cheer him up. Then it was snuggle time! We can’t wait to have Stacey sit Chewy again!”

“Alex was excellent with our boy (cat). Alex is very patient, calm and caring pet sitter i can see he is true animal lover. He followed all the instructions during the visit. He even made sure to take the package from door step and put it inside in our absence. I strongly recommend him and will be booking him again for future visits”

“It was easy and extremely convienient. Very communicative and helpful since I was a first time user. Charles was great and Doris was safe, happy, and healthy when I returned home. I would recommend using Charles at any time. I know I will be reaching out again if I travel or long work days.”

About: What sets me apart from other dog walkers is that I genuinely care about every dog’s well-being. I pay close attention to detail and would never put a dog in an uncomfortable or unsafe situation. Their happiness and safety always come first. I’m off during the summers, which makes me super flexible during the day—perfect for midday walks, playtime, or keeping your pup company while you're out. My pets are fully house trained and have full access to my home. I'm always mindful about keeping toys, electrical cords, and food safely out of reach to ensure a secure and pet-friendly environment.

About: Hi! My name is Komo, and I am a lively animal-lover who can easily keep up with your energetic pup! I’ve petsit friends’ dogs and cats throughout the past 4 years, as well as a few fish and reptiles. With a passion for nature and animals, I would love for your dog, or even cat, to join me on my explorations across the east bay! I grew up caring for feral cats and kittens and watching Cesar Milan Dog training shows until I finally got my sweet rottweiler at the age of 12. Through raising my pup and over a decade of pet care, I’ve come to understand how to care for and entertain dogs of any breed, age, and energy level. As the mom of a now senior (& very healthy) rottie, I am especially skilled at caring for puppies, high energy dogs, and senior pups. I currently have a pretty open schedule! I can be booked on weekdays morning and evenings and can accommodate any time on the weekends. For at-home petsitting, I function on the phrase “early to bed, early to rise” and am a light sleeper who can respond to any of your pets needs during the night. Each dog is different, and I make the effort to understand your dog and adapt to their needs. Aside from the energy and entertainment I bring to stimulate your pet, I know how to keep your home and belongings safe from their fun. Dogs will often communicate what they want before they act. By keeping an eye on their behavior, I catch zoomies and outbursts before it’s too late, removing them from situations where they can harm themselves or your belongings. My attention to their behavior will also keep me aware of their boundaries and comfort to ensure your pet trusts me and feels safe around me. I can easily crate, feed, medicate, and calm your pet, regardless of their energy level.

“Grace took great care of my kitties as usual. Even my really shy cat, Dash, comes out to play when she's here! I love knowing my babies are in good hands with her whenever I have to go out of town.”

About: I took care of my own dog for the past two years and wanted to extend my help for others’ pets in the community. Serving others are part of human nature I’m currently free until the beginning of August, and I want to make good use of my time and help other pets owners and make their loved ones feel better My dog is with me at home and we take naps together. We go for walks frequently and extensively. I hope we can extend our good energy to others.

“Oscar took wonderful care of our cat while we were out of town. He responsively visited our place on time everyday, took thorough care of our cat, and sent us detailed updates with great pictures. He was very thoughtful and our cat enjoyed being with Oscar! We will definitely ask him again next time.”

About: Proud mom of a goofy five year old German Shepherd named Luna. After five years of hands-on training with her, I’ve mastered big-dog manners, positive-reinforcement tricks, and how to spot a stress yawn before it turns into chaos. When I’m caring for your pup, I stick to their routine, keep their brain busy with sniff walks and puzzle toys, and fire off plenty of “paw-parazzi” photos so you never wonder how they’re doing. 💛 I’m a part-time behavior technician at a local middle school, so my workday wraps up around lunchtime. That leaves my early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and full weekends wide open for walks, drop-ins, and overnight house sitting. Because the school’s minutes from home, I can also swing by mid-day for quick potty breaks when needed. I care for pups in their own space, where they feel safest and stick to the sights, smells, and schedules they know. I follow your feeding, walk, and medication notes to the letter, tidy up before I leave, and send plenty of photo updates. Doors stay locked, alarms set, and your dog (and house) get the same respect I give my own. 😊

About: Hi! My name is Taaj and I have had 11 years of personal experience owning a Siberian Husky and have loved every bit of it! I also worked on rover throughout COVID so have had the pleasure of taking care of many dogs throughout that time. I have always loved animals and want to take care of your fur babies as if they were my own. I am available to board (dogs only!), walk, drop in, or pet sit in your home, dogs and cats! I live in a house with a beautiful, big back yard with my 11 year old Siberian husky, she is super friendly and warms up to other dogs, we can always set up a meet and greet beforehand to introduce them and ensure we are both comfortable having them together. :) A Couple Things: 1. Pets must be potty trained. An additional fee applies if they are not and were stated otherwise. 2. Please let me know if your pup or cat has a dietary needs or restrictions. I want to make sure I’m providing the best care I possibly can while keeping your fur baby safe. 3. I absolutely love all animals and will always take care of them as if they are my own! If you or your pet has any special needs that need to be met, I am always willing to accommodate them so please communicate with me :) 4. I’ll always send daily photos/videos and updates as often as you’d like. I understand how hard it can be to leave your family member, so I’m happy to do whatever brings you peace of mind! I hope you consider me to take care of your pet while you are away. I look forward to hearing from you and please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have! I am graduate student and have a flexible schedule! I can work with you to figure out a schedule and accommodate you and your pet’s needs. I am a huge animal lover and someone who is very good at following directions! I am also not afraid to ask questions, I know how much these pets mean to people as I am a pet owner myself. As I’ve mentioned before, please let me know exactly how you want me to care for your pet and I will do just that! During COVID, I used to board dogs on Rover, so I have plenty of experience in this field!

About: We’ve had pets all our lives. Currently, we have two cats. Ray wfh, so there is usually always someone home. We’ve watched bunnies, cats, and dogs for friends/family including giving medication. We have had no aggression from our pets with the pets we’ve watched. We also have a second room(atm being used as an office/guest room), so if you want your pet separate from ours pets, that is something we can accommodate. For dogs during boarding, our household prefers dogs that tend to ignore our cats. Also, we have a preference for senior dogs since they tend to be low energy and do not require long walks(over 15 min) to use the restroom. For cats, we have experience with all kinds of energy and ages. If you have a cat with a lot of energy, our Taro girl has shown that she loves playing all the energetic kitties and helps them come out of their shell. However, both our cats can adapt to senior kitties as they both love to lounge. One of us wfh and the other wfh once a week, so we can have someone always home. We are both able to adjust our schedules when we are taking care of other people’s pets such as walks. For friends/family whose pets we’ve watched: we ask for a clear schedule such as when to walk and feed and follow it. We’ve also recently watched a senior dog who needed to be walked more often and given medication. For all pets, we’ve given them some space, especially from our pets and seen if they can interact or not depending on what their owners want. We also try to incorporate playtime if they want that.

“wholeheartedly recommend Isabella L. as a pet sitter on Rover. She took wonderful care of our golden retriever while we were on vacation, and we couldn’t have asked for anyone more loving, responsible, and experienced. Isabella has two dogs of her own and has raised many throughout her life—she truly understands dogs and treats every pet as part of the family. During her stay, our dog was incredibly happy, playful, and relaxed—she had a blast running around with Isabella’s dogs and felt completely at home. In fact, ever since coming back, she’s been eager to return to Isabella’s house! That says it all. Isabella’s home and backyard are spacious, secure, and perfect for dogs to stay and play freely. The house is also very clean and well-kept, showing how much care she puts into creating a safe and welcoming environment. “I’ve had Sara take care for 2 of my dogs when I had to go on trips. She would go above and beyond when taking care of my dogs. One of my dogs has a heart condition and needs to take oral medication twice a day. My dog wasn’t eating his meal, so she tried different ways to get my dog to take his medication. She also went out of her way to buy my dog more food when she was close to running out without us even asking. I fully trust and love letting Sara take care of my dogs.”
