“Once again Angela was amazing with our cat. Choochee looks happy and stress free when we come back from our trips which means a lot to us knowing that she had a great care. Thank you Angela and until the next time.”

“Ziying was a wonderful cat sitter for our drop-in visits. She is very kind, caring, and easy to communicate with. She kept me updated before visit and shared lots of photos and videos, which I really appreciated. My cats were well taken care of, and I felt completely at ease. I would definitely book Ziying again in the future and highly recommend her.”

“Sierra was great! She responded quickly to my last minute booking and was super accommodating. She sent lots of pictures and videos and filled me in on Coco while I was on vacation. I would definitely recommend her to others!”

About: I have 9 years of hands-on animal rescue experience including fostering, TNR work and caring for pets from outdoor rescues. Through this volunteer work and my unconditional genuine love for all animals, I’ve learned to be patient, observant, and gentle, giving each animal the time and care they need to feel safe and comfortable. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine, and I make sure I have the time and flexibility to give each pet my full attention. I prioritize consistency, clear communication, and unhurried visits so pets feel relaxed and well cared for. I’m especially comfortable caring for rescue pets and understand that trust can take time, so I always move at each pet’s pace and respect their individual boundaries.
“Adriana is wonderful. I adopted two cats during COVID and was very worried about spending time away. My cats have a certain routine and I wasn't sure anybody could be available. Adriana prove me wrong she was very sweet with my cats and did everything that was needed and more.”

“Paige was extremely communicative, reliable and amazing! She sent update pictures for every visit and assured me that my pet bunny Luna was happy, healthy and well cared for. I was worried since most people don't have much experience with bunnies, but Paige asked thorough questions to make sure she cared for Luna in the best way possible. Would extremely recommend her!”

“I absolutely recommend Joyce to anyone looking for a caring and diligent sitter for their beloved pets. She was so good with our two kittens and even our shy, reserved girl who's not great with strangers really took to her. She went above and beyond making sure our babies got all affection and attention they could want with plenty of treats and play. She also sent us tons of photos and videos and detailed notes on her visits, making us feel at ease while we were out of town. I will definitely be reaching out again the next time we need a cat sitter.”
About: I have trained and cared for my own dogs, both small and large breeds, all of my life. As a volunteer at animal shelters here in the Bay Area and in Austin, I have learned to manage and adapt to varied—and sometimes difficult—dog personalities, temperaments, and needs. I am also very comfortable with large animals, having owned and trained my own horses for decades. As a retired journalist and journalism professor, I bring trustworthiness, reliability, and excellent communication to animal care. I can provide walks, engaging playtime, comfort for anxious animals, and administration of simple medications. Please note: While I am an expert animal caretaker, I am new to the Rover platform. I am currently offering introductory rates for a limited time while I build my local profile.I I work from home as a writer/reasercher on my own flexible schedule. i can accommodate your and your pets' schedules on weekdays as well as weekends. I provide walks as needed, playtime, comforting if he or she is anxious, simple medicstions and wound-dressing, and and of course feeding and watering on their schedule.
About: I've taken care of my friends' dogs when needed. I also had a 13 year old German Shepherd mix that I adopted when he was 5 and just recently passed away this year. I am currently working part time, so I am available during the morning/afternoon on weekdays to walk your dog or check in on them for a potty break. I live in a quiet place without a lot of activity happening, and I like to stick with scheduled meal times and a consistent routine.
“Emily was absolutely wonderful. She took amazing care of our two cats, including administering medication to our elderly cat who can be a bit difficult. She followed all instructions perfectly and went above and beyond to keep us updated with photos and messages, which gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were away. Both Yogi and Webbigale were happy and well taken care of when we returned. I highly recommend Emily — she is kind, reliable, and incredibly attentive.”

“Alexandra did truly great for two week vacation, including punctuality, very detail oriented and all other stuff like feeding, replacing. Absolutely! no issue and i haven't had to worry a bit during my time away. Thx Alexandra..”

“Shareen was very responsive and great at communicating during the drop-in visit. She updated us with pictures and videos. Our pup had a great time and I would highly recommend her.”

About: I am trying out Rover for my chocolate to make new friends. I normally walk chocolate 4-6 times a day given that he's a pointer so he demands his walks. I am taking a long break from work in tech so I have all the time to accommodate your pet. I assure you that your pet will have plenty of walks and have a fun time with mine. When I dogsitting I'd take chocolate and your pet to a gated baseball field near by home to run. After that is meal time with a nap to recharge. They get walk after nap time, and another long walk around 5pm. Usually my neighbors want to have doggy meeting before the sun goes down so I'd take your pet out to make more new friends. They would get a long walk around 10pm before bedtime. No one likes to sleep with a full bladder. Your pet will sleep on doggy bed/couch/chaises as they wish. Hangout or playtime is in the living room. They get daily walks. If weather permits there'll be running at park, hiking, or to the beach. Your pet's safety and exercise are my top priority.
“Ken took very good care of our cat while we were out on vacation. He dropped in regularly, followed care instructions and took care of our cat's basic necessities - food, water, litter, play etc. Kitty got super friendly with him in no time. Ken's awesome and I'd reach out to him again.”

About: I’ve spent the last few years caring for dogs in many different situations — from energetic German Shepherds on a farm to the gentle white shepherd I rescued and raised myself. In 2021, I worked on a farm where I fed, cleaned, and played with four shepherds daily. When one of their puppies was seriously injured, I took him home, cared for him, and helped him recover fully. He has been with me ever since. Because of this experience, many friends now bring their dogs to me whenever they travel. I’m patient, responsible, and very comfortable with dogs who have different personalities or special needs. I truly love caring for animals, and I always treat every dog with the same level of attention and kindness I give to my own. My work schedule is flexible, so I can adjust my time based on your needs. Whether it’s afternoon, or evening visits, I’m able to plan my day around providing care for your dog. I prefer caring for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable. You can simply let me know your routine and any specific instructions, and I will follow them carefully. My goal is to keep your dog safe, relaxed, and happy while maintaining their normal schedule.

Emily takes exceptional care of our cat and consistently goes above and beyond. She makes sure our cat has fresh food and water, keeps the litter box clean, and spends quality time playing and interacting with her. Emily also provides plenty of photos during each visit, which gives us great peace of mind while we’re away. What truly stands out is her attentiveness she notices when something seems different or out of the ordinary with our cat and keeps us informed. We highly recommend Emily to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and thoughtful pet sitter.
