About: Hi!! My name is Aurora and I’m so excited to take care of your furr baby or babies! I have years of experience taking care of a wide range of pets from cats to big and small breed doggies. I love animals and believe they are a member of the family and should be treated as such! I have been relied on for walking my friends and neighbors doggies, cat sitting, and routine check ins to ensure that their fur babies are happy, healthy and, most of all, not lonely! As you can see from my pictures, my partner and I have three amazing fur babies, two of which are cats and one big doggy. Our two cats are Hela and Athena and our big goofy fluff ball of a doggie is named Loki. Because I raised my little family members from babies, I am more than comfortable taking care of puppies or kittens also! Pet care fits easily into my schedule — I work Monday-Friday 8-4pm—, leaving early mornings, evenings, and the rest of the weekends open for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care. In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s usual routine—feeding, walks, play, and any special instructions—so they feel secure and cared for in their familiar space.

About: Hi, I'm Jacob! I'm a 22-year-old college student and former collegiate soccer player with a passion for dogs. I have two dogs of my own and helped raise and train my Bernedoodle from puppyhood, giving me plenty of hands-on experience with puppies and dogs of all ages. I also assist my girlfriend, an active Rover dog walker, on many of her walks and pet care visits. Whether your dog needs an energetic walk, playtime, or extra attention, I'll treat them like they're my own and make sure they receive safe, reliable, and loving care. As a college student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable pet care throughout the week. Between caring for my own dogs and assisting with Rover walks and visits, pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine. About: Dog Experience: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. When I was growing up, I owned and trained a black Labrador, and later our family adopted a Golden Retriever Labrador mix. My favorite doggy adventures were running on the beach with our sweet Honey, and then bathing her before coming in the door. She passed away last summer due to cancer, and I miss her very much. I currently volunteer at the East Bay SPCA. I am an active member of the Jog-A-Dog program, and exercise shelter dogs by taking them on short 3-mile jogs around parks and neighborhoods. I have experience working with a variety of breeds and temperaments, from adults to puppies, including both anxious, reactive, confident, and laid-back animals. Cat Experience: I also grew up with a stray American shorthair cat who adopted our family when I was in kindergarten. When I would play in my neighborhood, the cat took notice of me, and our bond grew from there. We developed our own sign language, where I would hold out my hand to her, and she would come up to me and lick it, then follow me everywhere. Slowly, she started hanging around our house until my dad finally invited her inside. My mom walked into the living room one afternoon and caught my dad sitting on the couch with the cat purring on his lap. It was then that we all realized that this cat had made its way into our hearts and become a permanent member of our family. I think I'm more of a cat person than a dog person, just because cats always seem to be drawn to me. However, I have a big heart for all types of animals, reptiles, and insects. Other pet experience: In college I adopted a turtle from our neighbor because the owner could no longer care for it. I would take the turtle with me a few times to the park on the weekends, where it could graze on fresh green grass and bask in the sunshine. I also had a few betta fish at the time, and taught them how to leap into the air for a few seconds (with the promise of food, of course). Insect Experience: I love butterflies!! I have always loved butterflies -- my first word was "butterfly". When I was in first grade I was wandering around our neighborhood, waiting for my friend to get home so we could play together. I cam across a Monarch butterfly caught in a spiderweb that was plasterd against the outside windowsill of my neighbor's house. After staring at it for a little while, I noticed the butterfly's wings start to move. I reached my hand into the spiderweb and set the butterfly free. The butterfly crawled onto my hand and it was then that I realized the wings were damaged. My friend came out of her house soon after, and we created a little home for the butterfly to receive plant nectar and water (in a lid). Then my parents arranged to visit my great-grandmother in a nursing home, so I took the butterfly to show her. We traveled by airplane to Ohio. My mom said that my great-grandmother had lived in Pacific Grove, CA, before she was sent to Ohio, and would watch the Monarch butterfly migration take place in her backyard. When my great-grandmother saw the Monarch butterfly I had brought her, she lit up! She still remembered the butterflies from her hometown and was very grateful to see the butterfly alive and well through its journey to Cleveland, OH. Throughout my life I've had multiple experiences with various types of butterflies landing on me while hiking or lounging by the pool with my family. It's always a magical and awe-inspiring experience. I always use positive re-inforcement to redirect behavior through praise and treats. I do not yell or use physical means to get the dog's attention or make commands.

About: I have experience in taking care of cats and dogs for my friends and family. I have a Persian cat and I have been living with him for 3 years. I am currently doing it for part-time. My time is relatively flexible. I will be available in weekdays more. Sometimes weekend works too with earlier appointments. I love playing and talking with them like a friend. Sometimes they would ask for pat or hug and my cat does, but I would be more careful with my friends’ pets. I love giving them treats when playing. But my cat doesn’t like treats haha.

About: I worked as a vet tech assistant for two years, and have taken care of a multitude of animals, from turtles, to birds, big dogs to baby cats, and almost everything in between. I have also taken my own dogs to training classes and have one certified as an emotional support animal. I have personally had dogs my whole life (cocker spaniels and a German Shepard), and at one point in my life, I lived with the head of the K-9 unit of the flint police department and got to experience how they teach and train their dogs too. while my current dog is staying at my parents, I am looking forward to welcoming new animals into my home to help fill the void for the time being. I am a very kind, caring, and loving person who sometimes relates more to animals than fellow humans :p Right now, I am a stay at home dad who can take care of any pet almost 24/7, as well as being able to take dogs for walks or to the dog park if wanted. My daughter loves animals as well and will be able to play with your pet too. I follow all rules and guidelines set by the owner, I have gates in my house to keep animals and children out of certain areas, will set up a dedicated food and drink area for the animals. We allow dogs and cats on the furniture and in the bed at my house, and will abide by whatever the owner asks of us if we are staying at their home. I may sure to take them outside once every 1-2 hours, as well as a walk twice a day at minimum, and/or a trip to the park or dog park if allowed. I have a mostly fenced in backyard, but still take dogs out to the bathroom on leash. We can also create a dedicated kitty litter spot as well.

I am familiar with any health issue that may come up with your dog and will promote their well-being. Working in the ER, I know how to deal with many diseases so I can ensure your loved one is well taken care of. I can proficiently administer oral and injectable medications if needed. About: I've taken care of my friend's dogs, ranging from young to older dogs. I live in a neighborhood that has a nice trail for long walks. I also live near a dog park that is a mile walk away! The previous landlord of my house owned a dog and left a lot of toys and dog beds! I am currently a full-time student on a hybrid school schedule. Most of my day is free, and I can watch pets while I study or play/walk them when I need a break! I have flexibility throughout the week and day. Pets are free to roam around the house if they are potty trained. I am typically home most of the day, but if I need to run a few errands, I can take the pets with me or have them stay in the house alone for no longer than an hour.
