I have experience with dogs and cats. I grew up with dogs (small and large) and have fostered one Pit Bull Terrier. I have basic dog training skills, and enjoy taking dogs for long walks. I also fostered two cats at once: one with high energy and the other being more cautious and shy. I adore animals and am always eager to educate myself on how to better care for a pet's specific needs.

Safety, trust & environment
In client's homes, I stay in the permitted spaces I am allowed to be in. I follow the house rules and respect the privacy and space. I understand that each pet has their own routine and quirks, so I will follow care instructions carefully. I live in an apartment building with no yard, so I walked around the neighborhood with my foster dog. I also would drive to nearby parks for a change of scenery. Both cats and dogs have access to my entire apartment except for my bedroom. I do not have central AC, but will leave my window open for dogs and have a fan blowing. I've had cats previously break my window screens, so I will leave a fan blowing on hot days. Additionally. I leave an air purifier on at all times to help remove allergens from the environment. I have wooden floors.

Kristina is an incredibly responsible and loving caregiver. She successfully fostered a dog and two cats for six weeks each, providing excellent daily care, structure, and affection. She took care of the dog that had trust issues, scared of people and with some medical needs. Trained the dog successfully and made her trust people more while teaching how to walk on a leash. She loves animals and I highly recommend her for any pet sitting needs!
Kristina is responsible, punctual, and kind. She watched our one year old cat for 2 weeks and took great care of him! Kristina also loves animals and is very gentle with them; she has previously fostered dogs and cats for multiple weeks, so she has extensive experience taking care of pets. ****PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: I am available after 3pm on Monday and Fridays and after 9pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I am free on weekends with advance notice. I am an early riser and can do drop-ins 6am - 7am.
