About: I have trained and cared for my own dogs, both small and large breeds, all of my life. As a volunteer at animal shelters here in the Bay Area and in Austin, I have learned to manage and adapt to varied—and sometimes difficult—dog personalities, temperaments, and needs. I am also very comfortable with large animals, having owned and trained my own horses for decades. As a retired journalist and journalism professor, I bring trustworthiness, reliability, and excellent communication to animal care. I’m currently in college and work with children during the weekdays, but I’ve kept my weekends open so that you can have a fun time out knowing your pup is in good hands! I am also an early bird so I would have no problem taking your pup out for their first walk of the day!

Drop-In Visits & Dog Walking: • can schedule a meet & greet prior to booking • I accept same-day bookings • I require a 1-day advance notice for cancellations I’ll follow any instructions and safety precautions required - in terms of diet restrictions, using crates, or keeping pet(s) indoors. When walking outside the home, I will always keep your dog(s) on a leash to avoid any unexpected situations. I’ll be mindful avoiding other dogs and heavily trafficked areas to ensure safety. I tend to walk in the morning and afternoon when it’s not too hot on their paws. I carry a portable water bowl to keep hydrated and medical pet kit with me at all times. I will stay in constant communication with pet owner(s) on their pets’ activity through the Rover app or by text. Please provide me with any emergency contacts and safety instructions you would like me to follow in case of an emergency or natural disaster arises. I use Uber to get around, Uber also offers a pet-friendly service if needed. I can provide daily dog walks around the neighborhood, go to a local park, &/or play in the backyard.

About: I've always been an animal lover however, when I got my own dog 10 years ago I experienced the feeling of unconditional love. I have a soft spot for special needs pets. I treat all fur babies in my care as if they are my own. It is my dream some day to help rescue and foster dogs of all sizes and breeds. I live in an apartment so I am limited on space but I am able to have a pet stay with me. I can do drop in visits, dog walking and or stay in your home with your fur kids while you are away. So we keep a general routine around taking walks and potty breaks, exercise and play and nap times. I live in an apartment with a patio. I have a medium sized dog and he does just fine. I take him out often fo bathroom and exercise and fun. If I am in your home I follow your instructions and keep to you pets routine.

About: I have pet sit two cute poodle mixes for 10 days recently and also pet sit a medium sized dog for the weekend. My sister has two large dogs with whom I have spent a lot of time! I love spending time with dogs and cats! I assure you that your pets will get a lot of play time! I go to office twice a week so I am available on most days. I am also available on weekends and weekday evenings. So, I have a pretty flexible schedule. I live in an apartment complex with place to walk dogs. It is a 2 bedroom apartment. It is a dog friendly community but has breed restrictions. Cats are welcome!

I play close attention to pets at all times, especially when they are in a new environment. I read their body language just like I would with another person. About: I have experience in taking care of cats and dogs for my friends and family. I have a Persian cat and I have been living with him for 3 years. I am currently doing it for part-time. My time is relatively flexible. I will be available in weekdays more. Sometimes weekend works too with earlier appointments. I love playing and talking with them like a friend. Sometimes they would ask for pat or hug and my cat does, but I would be more careful with my friends’ pets. I love giving them treats when playing. But my cat doesn’t like treats haha.
