About: I have rescued two of my own pups- Oli just passed away at the beginning of the year at almost 16, and Kevin passed in October at the age of 14. I miss the joy of having a dog but my heart can’t handle having my own again. I’d love to share my long (or short) walks with a sweet pup! Oli had health problems from the time she 2 weeks old which required a lot of time management and scheduling. I understand the importance of having a routine, and schedule to ensure the health and well-being of your animals. Our home has a lot of life and a lot of love- also a lot of land for running and hanging out. I am a stay at home mom so I am very flexible. Having a sick dog of my own, I had to ensure that the day started with her proper care- otherwise we all would be paying for it. Our animals can’t speak so we really need to be in tune with their needs so they don’t suffer at our expense. I love a good schedule- and so did my dogs. I swear they can tell time. In our house we have a routine that sets the tone for the day. I think that it is very important for the dog, the family, and the dog sitter to be on the same page and same schedule. A detailed list of rules, times, walking routes, etc. are very important to ensure proper care.

“oh my gosh Mia is the best! My baby Barry stayed with her and Pizza overnight, and he was so sad to leave. Barry’s a very nervous dog, but immediately warmed up to her, and had such a fun time. He came back home so tired, but so incredibly happy! I appreciate how receptive and kind Mia was the entire stay, and how she sent updates. When I picked him up, he looked happy and relaxed, and he didn’t scold me at all when we got home. I even tease him sometimes by saying, “We’re going to see Mama Vicky!” and he immediately starts wagging his tail. That’s how much he loves her.”

“Divya and Shane were amazing with Baxter and their dog Yukon is a really sweet dog too. Divya and Shane were flexible and accommodating with the pickup and dropoff times. They took good care of Baxter, enquired about his schedule and made sure Baxter is comfortable in their home. Yukon tried to get Baxter to play but Baxter, being older now, did not want to play and Yukon was content with being chill and giving him space. Baxter usually is not comfortable in other’s homes but he had a good time with Divya and Shane. Would highly recommend Divya and Shane and will be definitely be leaving Baxter with them again.”

“Esala and Tiffanie took excellent care of Archie. They took him on long walks and hikes and kept him occupied throughout his week long stay. They even supervised his play time with their dog Penny and Lucy (the other dog they were sitting) to ensure his comfort. I received daily photos and video check ins.
