“Jessica is the type of person you want to care for your furry friends. She is nice, compassionate and attentive to my dogs needs. Jessica has experience working with senior dogs and is very patient with my 15 year old pup. I am so grateful Rover helped me find her. Book Jessica!”

About: Multi-size and breed experience since childhood. I have experience caring for senior dogs & also puppies. Can help with command training and crate training if needed. I WFH 4 days a week as an HR professional so I have plenty of time in between emails and meetings to play, snuggle and train your pup. I also do regular walks around neighborhood and have access to a park, trails and other dog friendly sites. Your pet will have full access to bedrooms attached by a Jack and Jill bathroom where I have my room and office. They can freely roam the rooms during their stay & have supervised access to the common areas around the house as well. The home has a large yard with plenty of space to walk and explore around our garden and a closed off driveway to play fetch and watch the squirrels.
“Ray helped us with walking our dog in a very short notice. Ours is an active and playful standard poodle and loved being with Ray. Ray is a detailed oriented , communicative and super helpful person.”

About: Pleasure to meet you! I was raised with animals, and had my first experience raising a large-breed puppy --my Labrador-- to end of life, starting 18 years ago. Our favorite hobbies were swimming, hiking, and most importantly, playing Frisbee. As, especially large-breed dog owners know, I put a big emphasis on consistent training, and lots of positive rewards and affection. I never thought I'd be a cat person, but since moving back to Tri-City, I have had three cats simultaneously and own one now. I'm in love with them ALL. I have experience owning a diabetic special needs cat, and I feel very comfortable doing insulin and glucose tests for a small surcharge if that's what you need. I also know in these situations that food timing is absolutely important. I also understand how crazy a house can get with multiple animals, and I'm happy to do some quick vacuuming to help keep the litter or fur mess at bay as long as it fits within the timeframe. I have a background in ABA and most of my professional career was spent working directly with children or young adults with developmental disabilities. I think I bring this compassion and patience when I spend time with animals as well. I also am transparent: if I don't think I am the best fit for your pet, I will let you know. No one wants to put your beloved pet's safety or well-being at risk. I work from home most days now. I know not everyone gets the opportunity for this, so I hope to give you animal some love and attention throughout the day that my cat definitely takes for granted, haha. Depending on your needs, I am also open to negotiating price if your animal is very low maintenance and would need very short drop-in times (i.e. a shy cat that wants me out of there ASAP, or a less active dog that just needs peepee time and food). I work from home and can offer up to two visits/walks a day on my available M-F! I'll be sure to discuss your needs with you ahead of time. I have a professional career of working in other's homes with their children--I will treat your home even better than mine. I love to send pictures. I'm also happy to do small tasks within the timeframe to keep up the house such as bringing packages in, quick vacuum of the litter area, wiping off paws, etc.
About: “Pet whisperer” is the nickname my husband gave me because of how much I love our furry family. I find endless joy and love in being around animals. Whether it’s meeting a pet for the first time or winning over a shy one, I always seem to find a way to connect and make them feel comfortable. I’m currently working part-time, which give me plenty of time to play , walk and care for your dogs. I’m available weekdays from 10 am to 5 pm. I always keep a close eye on them during walks, use secure leashes, and choose safe, pet-friendly routes. Your dogs safety and comfort are my two priorities.
About: Hi! I’m Alaina — a remote designer based in Fremont, offering dog walking/running and in-home cat sitting. I grew up with two very different dogs: Reyna, an anxious pitbull, and Champ, a spunky terrier (now 15!). Thanks to them, I’m great with nervous pets, experienced with administering meds, and comfortable with dogs of all sizes. Working from home, I’m always looking for reasons to get outside. I’d love to walk or run with your pup (Lake Elizabeth is my favorite trail around here). If you’ve got a cat, I’ll happily recruit them as my new desk buddy—benefits include chin scratches and treats. My boyfriend Kunal and I have lived together in Fremont for 3 years, and we’re both big animal lovers. Over the past year, we’ve fostered 12 kittens. I’ve syringe-fed tiny babies, cleaned up every mess imaginable, and loved every second of it. Fun fact: I studied Animal Science for two years at UC Davis and got hands-on experience with cows, pigs, sheep, and horses. I’ve also been a vegetarian for 10 years—my passion truly extends to all animals 🤍 Above all, I care about helping others. I’m reliable, communicative, and serious about giving your pet the best care possible. Can’t wait to meet your fur baby! 🐾 I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which makes it easy to build pet care into my day. I usually go on walks or runs in the morning, so it’s a great time to get dogs out for fresh air and exercise. Throughout the day, I’m home and able to check in, give meds if needed, or just hang out with pets while I work. Whether it’s a walk break or a cuddle session, I love having animals around—they’re the best part of my routine! As a cat sitter, I'll welcome your cat into my home where they’ll have a quiet, cozy space to relax. I follow their usual routine... feeding, litter box care, playtime, and plenty of attention (or space, if that’s preferred). For dog walking, I tailor each walk to your dog’s needs. Whether your dog wants a relaxed stroll or 2 mile run, I'm ready to get the steps! I make sure they get exercise, enrichment, and plenty of love. I stick to your routine, follow all instructions, and send regular updates so you know your pup is in good hands.
About: I have over 17 years of pet care experience both personal and professional. I’ve had the joy of working with dogs of all sizes—from tiny lap pups to large, lovable giants. I’m happy to walk, run, play, and snuggle to keep your pets active, happy, and loved. Whether your dog needs extra exercise or a calm companion, I can provide dependable, attentive care tailored to their personality. I am currently making pet sitting and dog walking my full-time career making me very accessible. I can provide pick ups and drop offs on any day as well as boarding. I have a chihuahua/ beagle mix pup who enjoys full access to our apartment. We have a larger patio within a walkable community. Should your pet prefer longer walks or more socialization park trips, dog parks, or hikes can be done.
About: I’ve been known for taking care of our friends’ dogs as if they are my own. From few hours to 5 weeks, dogs of different sizes have been under my care which had led to many of my friends recommending me to start Rover. As a runner and recreational tennis player, I feel confident providing the best physical care for the puppies — going out on runs and doing indoor tugging activities. I will always be looking out to see if the puppies are comfortable and pouring them with love. Also, be prepared to get showered with tons of pics and stories of how your puppies spent their time during their stay! My dog-friendly place will be a safe, quiet heaven for your puppies — with multiple parks nearby, including a fenced dog park, where puppies can enjoy running while on/off leash (I prefer not doing off-leash when outside unless it's fenced yard or dog park). As a dedicated dog lover with a full-time job (weekdays, 2 PM to 10 PM but can come home for dinner around 6 pm), I’ve structured my schedule to ensure your furry friend gets the best care possible. Here’s what you can expect: - Reliable Availability: I plan potty breaks at least three times a day—typically around 7-8 AM, 12 PM-2 PM, and 10-11 PM—so your pup’s needs are always met. - Plenty of Companionship: Your dog will have company for most of the day, with alone time never exceeding 8 hours. - Daily Exercise: I take multiple short walks every day, giving your pup fresh air and a chance to stretch their legs. - Flexible Coordination: I’m happy to work with you to ensure your dog’s care schedule fits seamlessly with mine. - Personalized Attention: Every pup in my care receives love, attention, and care tailored to their specific needs. Rest assured, your four-legged family member will be in loving and responsible hands while you’re away! I live in a dog-friendly apartment in a safe and welcoming residential area of San Jose. My home is located right next to a fully fenced dog park, where your pup can safely sniff, run around, and socialize with other friendly dogs. This ensures they get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation during their stay. For added peace of mind, I have a reliable car and am prepared to transport your pet to the nearest veterinary urgent care if needed. My apartment is clean, secure, and designed with pets in mind, offering a comfortable environment where your furry friend will feel right at home. Whether it’s playtime at the park or cozy downtime indoors, your dog will be cared for in a safe, enriching environment that prioritizes their happiness and well-being.

About: Hi!! My name is Aurora and I’m so excited to take care of your furr baby or babies! I have years of experience taking care of a wide range of pets from cats to big and small breed doggies. I love animals and believe they are a member of the family and should be treated as such! I have been relied on for walking my friends and neighbors doggies, cat sitting, and routine check ins to ensure that their fur babies are happy, healthy and, most of all, not lonely! As you can see from my pictures, my partner and I have three amazing fur babies, two of which are cats and one big doggy. Our two cats are Hela and Athena and our big goofy fluff ball of a doggie is named Loki. Because I raised my little family members from babies, I am more than comfortable taking care of puppies or kittens also! Pet care fits easily into my schedule—I’m in school Monday–Wednesday from 12–6 PM, leaving mornings, evenings, and the rest of the week open for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care. In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s usual routine—feeding, walks, play, and any special instructions—so they feel secure and cared for in their familiar space.

Fatima is experienced with dogs that are not as well socialized, and she was able to walk my dog Kuma on a short notice so I was so grateful. She left our home the same way as before, and she came on time and took a lot of pictures of the walk. It’s everything I could have asked for honestly. I will definitely ask for her service again in the future! Thanks Fatima :)
Yingju was so easy to schedule with. She was responsive, thorough, on time, and very kind! This was her first time meeting and walking Lea and I could tell from the photos that she had a great time. I appreciated that she let Lea explore, sniff, and play in the grass. I would definitely trust Yungju to walk and care for Lea in the future, so glad to have found her!

This was Dana's second time meeting with Marshall. He is weary of strangers and takes a few meetings to warm up to new people. Dana followed our instructions and asked appropriate questions. She also noticed when Marshall's body language was such that he didn't want to be touched and immediately stopped and stepped back. We're going to continue the process and will schedule additional time with Dana.
