“Sejla is a gem! We are so thankful for her. Excellent communication with meaningful updates, trustworthy and honest, punctual and responsible, and the absolute kindest. She always leaves our house in the same condition. Our dog loves her and we know Daisy is safe and in good hands with Sejla!”

“Tracey was phenomenal from the first meeting. She stayed with our 3 rescues for 9 days and not only took care of their basic needs, but made them feel comfortable in our absence. Their individual quirks did not phase her at all. Tracey had the desire to understand each dog and know how to best care for and interact with each one as they are all very different from one another. Upon our return all 3 dogs were calm and happy and had clearly been well cared for; in addition our house was left spotless and organized. Tracey is a professional and uses her extensive experience with dogs to provide exceptional care to the dogs lucky enough to stay with her.”

About: Have been caring primarily for cats and some elder dogs since 2020. Friends, neighbors, and family know I am the go to person for all their pet sitting needs. Currently living at home with my parents and am available 7 days a week and for a wide variety of hours. Devoting my time caring for your pets. Very good at following your instructions for feeding, brushing, as well as litter box refresh and other "accident" clean up. I particularly enjoy the "Playful Activities" part of caring for your fur baby.
“This was our dog's first overnight stay with Donna, whom our dog adores, and we appreciate her very much, too! Donna has provided much needed help to our family on occasion, and she provided cute photos of our very happy dog. Safety is of primary importance to us all. Thank you, Donna!”

“Joy is a first rate sitter. Punctual on timing, very good communication, and our dogs love her. We were glad to have her with our dogs so that we could relax and have fun at our friend’s birthday party. She sent a few pics and updates to keep us informed about her and the dogs. Highly recommended.”

“We are so so happy with Erika! She’s an absolute animal lover, and our dogs were comfortable with her immediately. Amazing communication and sending us pictures and updates the whole time the…peace of mind we needed. Thank you Erika!”

About: I have 18 years of experience caring for other people’s pets and have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs, cats, and small animals, and I have also worked in a large-animal veterinary setting. My experience includes puppies, senior dogs, large and small breeds, multiple-dog households, and pets with medical or special-care needs. I am comfortable administering eye and ear drops, oral and topical medications, and food additives according to your instructions. As a preschool teacher, I am calm in chaotic situations, attentive to individual needs, adaptable, nurturing, and playful. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, preferences, and routines. Whether your pet wants active play, a long walk, gentle companionship, or a quiet presence nearby, I adjust my approach to help them feel comfortable and secure. My goal is to keep your pet’s life as familiar and predictable as possible while you are away, reducing stress by following their usual feeding, walking, medication, play, and bedtime routines. I work as a preschool teacher during the school year and am generally available for morning, late-afternoon, and evening care. My school-year schedule is best suited to pets who are comfortable being alone for at least six hours during the day. I have my greatest flexibility during summer and school holiday breaks, when I may be able to accommodate pets that need more frequent visits, closer supervision, medication on a specific schedule, or additional companionship. I will always discuss your pet’s routine and needs with you before booking to make sure my schedule is a good fit. I care for every pet according to their established routine, personality, comfort level, and household rules. Before care begins, I make sure I understand feeding instructions, medications, walking routines, triggers, hiding places, emergency contacts, and any safety concerns. I strive to be consistent and dependable, communicate clearly, and keep you updated while you are away. In a client’s home, I treat both the pets and the space with care and respect. I monitor pets for changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, bathroom habits, or overall well-being and will contact you promptly if anything seems unusual. I can also board apartment-friendly dogs who are calm and safe around cats. Because I have a senior tripod cat, her safety and comfort are essential. Boarding requests will need to be a good match for a shared apartment environment, and I will carefully discuss your dog’s history with cats, behavior indoors, routine, and supervision needs before confirming.
“Vanessa is a great find. She truly cares about what she does. She is responsible , thoughtful and communicative . Our kitties , hens and home were well cared for. Thank you!!!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter than Jaime! She watched our fur baby Loki for a couple of nights and did an amazing job. She kept us updated with pictures and messages, which really put our minds at ease while we were away. Loki absolutely loved her, and it was clear she treated him like one of her own. We’ll definitely be booking with Jaime again — highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter! 🐾💛”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and truly understand their needs! I’ve trained my personal service animal, fostered pups in need, and already dog-sit for wonderful owners in the Bay Area. Plus, I work from home, so your dog will get plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. Whether they need playtime, training reinforcement, or just a cozy cuddle, I’ll make sure they feel right at home! 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! Since I work from home full-time, your pup will have plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I’m available for weekend boarding and can accommodate weekday care after 12 PM—unless we’ve planned and confirmed a schedule that works best for your dog’s specific needs. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel loved and comfortable! 🐾 Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I provide a loving, structured environment tailored to their needs. My dog, Luca, is a great companion and will help keep your pup company. We have a routine of three walks a day, ensuring plenty of exercise and outdoor time. I also provide mental enrichment activities, assist with crate training, and even reinforce sign language for dogs—a valuable skill that benefits all pups, especially as they age and may experience hearing loss. Your dog will be in great hands, getting the care, attention, and training they need to thrive! 🐾

“I had a great experience with Stacey. She babysat my 2 mini poodles for a week. She was very easy to communicate with, I got updates. She was great with the pups, it looked like they had a really good time. She left my place clean and organized - even washed the needing she used. She even helped me by moving my car several times when I was away. She followed my instructions regarding the feeding etc.. I'd highly recommend her and I'd use her services in the future too.”

“Yuri did a fantastic job again. Not only was my dog taken care of (and not even mad at me when I came home) but my house was exactly the way I left it. Yuri regularly sent pictures of her walking my dog. I could not ask for more.”

“Sometimes he does it in the backyard. Before the walk. I’m really glad to hear he’s doing well. And having fun. I’ll be heading home and arriving around… I can’t remember, maybe around eight or 8:30 PM. But no worries whenever you have to takeoff. He’ll be fine. Thanks again! Talk to you soon.”

About: Not just watching your dog, I care for them. For over a decade, I have dedicated myself to caring for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I share my home with a dog who lives with Cushing’s disease and arthritis, so administering medications, following routines, and providing calm, loving care is part of my life. I pay close attention to each dog’s behavior, energy, and comfort level. Whether they need play, structure, gentle walks, or quiet companionship, I adjust to what makes them feel safe and at ease. Your dog will not simply be supervised. They will be cared for with intention, experience, and genuine love. If you want someone who treats your dog like family, I would love to care for them. 🐾 I work from home full-time, so I have a very flexible schedule and can give your dog plenty of attention throughout the day. This means regular walks, playtime, and companionship without long periods of being left alone. I can adjust to your pup’s routine. I have a dog of my own and often care for family pets, so keeping my home safe and comfortable for animals is a top priority. I’m mindful about doors, gates, and anything that could pose a risk, and I make sure pets are always supervised. My goal is to create a safe, calm environment where your pup can feel right at home.

About: You deserve complete peace of mind while away, and it should be a vacation for your pets, too. I work from home, have no pets of my own, and only take one client at a time, so your pet is guaranteed a calm environment and my 100% undivided attention. I am the go-to pet sitter for friends and family because I am highly reliable and observant. Having cared for dogs and cats since middle school, I’m deeply passionate about animal wellness. I excel at reading a pet's body language and noticing the small things, allowing me to quickly adapt to their needs and keep them completely comfortable in my home. Since I work from home, looking after a dog fits right into our day. I have plenty of time to hang out and play with your pup, and I am used to doing morning and evening walks, with fetch breaks throughout the workday. I always stick closely to whatever instructions you leave to make sure your dog stays on their usual routine and feels right at home. I mostly care for pets in our own home, where I have a secure, fenced yard and plenty of space inside for them to relax and get comfortable. Because I work from home, they get constant supervision and plenty of potty breaks. Every pet is different, so I am super flexible and always stick strictly to whatever routine, feeding schedule, or rules you have in place to make sure they feel right at home.
“Michelle is wonderful!!! She took care of both our pups while we were gone on a family vacation. She provided optimal care, snuggling with our babies and sent pics when out on walks!! She helped soothe my anxiety with prompt texts, I would absolutely recommend her again!!”

“This was our first Rover experience and were a bit apprehensive. From the start, Elizabeth was great, stopping by to visit our doggies Eloise and Fluffy and to hear about them. She was meticulous in noting everything about them that could help her provide the most comfortable experience while we were away. During our trip, she kept us informed about the pups. She left the house tidy and clean. What more could we ask for? We wouldn't hesitate to use Elizabeth on a future trip. Thank you, Elizabeth!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Campbell
We have a very grouchy senior chiweenie, six chickens and a senior goldfish. Mámoo took care of them over a long weekend while we were away and left the house and all the pet equipment spotless, and the pets very happy. From the beginning of the meet and greet, Mámoo paid attention to our pup’s body signals and by the end of it our pup (who usually barks nonstop at strangers for hours) was sleeping next to them. It has never happened before and we were so relieved to leave our special girl in such expert care. Mámoo sent us photos and videos of each pet every single day. It is a rare sitter who can care for so many different pets and really build a rapport with them in such a short period of time. We are over the moon pleased with the care and recommend Mámoo 100% to anyone looking for loving, empathetic care for their non-human babies.

Maria house sat our 10 month old German shepherd puppy for a three day weekend and he was very well looked after and played and cuddled with. We were wondering what to do with our pup when we were traveling since the friends we usually leave him with were also traveling. We found Maria on Rover and she came home for a quick meet and greet at short notice. She and our pup hit it off immediately so that was a big relief for us to leave him with her. She also kept us posted with photos and videos and other updates. Overall a good experience for us and for our pup.

Anke was an amazing cat sitter, and was wonderful with our three cats and condo! We found Anke through the Rover app and booked after a meet and greet. Our cats are a little tricky- we have some health issues and behavioral problems, but Anke was an absolute pro and made us feel at ease. She sent lots of updates and was very thoughtful and supportive. We will be booking with Anke in the future, thank you Anke!

Sophie was nice enough to come meet our dogs before she watched them the first time, making sure she was prepared to take the best care of them possible. She communicated clearly and did a perfect job watching our two pups. She checked in frequently and shared photos of our dogs as well. Sophie is great and would be a great sitter for all pets!

Morgan saved us from a terrible situation with another sitter while we were in another country. She came into a situation that we didn’t understand nor did we have visibility to the state of our apartment. It was bad. Morgan worked with us and our dog tirelessly while dealing with a disgusting apartment from our previous sitter. She helped coordinate with a cleaner and she helped coordinate with my friend to check on our dog. She sent endless photos and updates. She was incredibly communicative, thorough, and we truly cannot recommend her enough. If you want peace of mind, choose Morgan.

Repeat client here. Zhi is wonderful. She came through last minute when I had to leave town for a medical emergency. I've got an enemy GSD, a snake Australian cattle mutt, two cats, and an outdoor kitty that had claimed my house as her territory. Zhi is so compassionate and attentive, a wonderful house sitter, and very sweet soul. I'd be lucky to book her again!

I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Sophia! From start to finish, communication was excellent — I got frequent updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Sophia followed my instructions to the letter, especially around Riri’s care routine, and it was clear she genuinely paid attention to the details that matter to me. Beyond the reliability, what really stood out was Sophia’s kindness and warmth — you could tell she truly cared about my dog’s comfort and happiness, not just checking a box. She also took great care of my house, leaving it spotless when I got home, which I really appreciated. I’d recommend her without hesitation for both pet and house sitting, and will absolutely be booking again. Thank you Sophia for taking such wonderful care of Riri and my home!

Cassidy did a great job caring for our two labs when we were out of town over the weekend. We have a 5-year-old and very energetic 1-year-old. She took great care of them, followed all instructions, and sent us updates with pictures every day. They were in excellent hands!
Kathy was an absolutely wonderful house and dog sitter! She gave Stetson so much love and attention, and it was clear from the daily updates and photos that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for while we were away. Knowing he was in such good hands gave us complete peace of mind. On top of taking exceptional care of Stetson, Kathy treated our home with incredible respect. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Kathy to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and thoughtful house and pet sitter.

Nas was an incredible dog sitter! Our dogs looked so happy in the photos and videos. She gave one of my dog’s his medication. We got frequent updates with great communication, she left no trace and we felt like our dogs were in great hands! It’s also always good in my book when a sitter is great with my kids at the first meeting as Nas was. Would happily hire her again!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Campbell on Rover is $62.16 per night (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Campbell walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Campbell maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Campbell choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Campbell. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
