“Sofiya is great! Very quick to respond and easy to communicate with. Donner had a very good time with her during his first day care and he came back very happy and relaxed. We're looking forward to having Donner stay with Sofiya again!”

“Lola is a very shy girl and has a lot of separation anxiety but Trishalee was so sensitive and made sure that Lola had some play time, quiet time and affection to make her feel comfortable. I will be booking again.”

“Thank you to Lauren and Catherine for hosting my furbabies Harley and Bella! They provided exceptional care and kept me in the loop through the day. I recommend them both for anyone looking for a caring pet sitter.”

“Eris did a phenomenal job taking care of our rambunctious and hyper little husky puppy. She checked in often with videos and pictures. She made sure we were okay with her dogs meeting our pup and shared how she planned to introduce them. We are beyond satisfied and pleased with her care, attention to our pups need and patience.”

“Grace provided a top notch care for DD, constant updates with potties, walks and meals breaks. Very details and great communication with constant photo updates. Highly recommend! Thank you Grace, DD will be back 🔜😉”

“Robyn is great to work with. She has a lot of knowledge and awareness about dog behavior which immediately put me at ease. Lucy had an awesome time at her house.”

“This is my first time using Rover. Select Natasha for her comments. Make no mistake, everything was perfect, the way he received Tomas, how he approached him, how he showed him the place, the other his dogs. Spend about 30 minutes with her adapting Tomas. He sent me photos of how they were going, when he ate, in the park playing. Thank you very much Natasha, great woman, I will call you again.”

About: I've been a dog lover and owner my entire life — with over 25 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. From energetic puppies to senior dogs needing extra TLC, I understand what it takes to keep them happy, healthy, and loved. I treat every dog that comes into our home like my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. We recently lost our senior pup to old age, and after 15 years with him, our home feels quiet without him. We are not ready to add a new dog to our family yet, so hoping pet sitting will fill our hearts with the paws that feel missing. I work from home 3-4 days a week & have a very energetic toddler who will keep your pup entertained! I am always outside and go on daily walks with or without a dog! My home is a clean, pet-friendly space with secure doors and fenced outdoor access, ensuring your pup can explore safely. I keep hazardous items like food and cleaning products out of reach. Dogs have access to cozy resting spots, fresh water at all times, and plenty of space to play, relax, or cuddle.
“Ahiram and her husband are amazing daycare sitters. They were very attentive and incredible with updates and responsiveness. Love the patience with our two kraken monsters (our dogs lol)”

“Chris and Olga are awesome, they were so great with my 4.5 month old puppy, giving updates, accomodating a meet and greet and helping my puppy adapt to a new environment and connect with their dog Josie. Highly recommend.”

“Larissa is a wonderful host for Doggy Day Care of our puppy. She and her kids are caring and attentive to our puppy's needs. I can definitely recommend Larissa.”

“Blu stay with Elliott was good . Elliott seems very knowledgeable and understanding about dogs and their needs and each one’s different vibe . He really had a caring nature about him, for my dog and the other dogs that were there . I feel being in tune to their personalities is a good quality in any person, but also especially for a dog care sitter . I would request Elliott again if the need for dog care came up .”

“Chandra is amazing!! We have seen such an improvement with our pups when they see and interact with other dogs! Best decision we have made to bring them to Chandra’s on a consistent basis! Highly recommend! :)”

About: I've always loved dogs. I have had Yorkshire Terriers growing up but have 7 years experience with my partners family dogs, (2 pit bulls and a Chihuahua), so am very comfortable with large dogs. I owned a German Shepherd Siberian Husky mix for a few years and loved every second with her. I went through training with her as well. I love dogs, I love walking and giving them the best time while their favorite human is away. My parents Yorkshire Terrier also deals with back problems, so am fully capable of following any strict instructions you may have for your sweet pup. I am currently unemployed, was recently laid off so would like to use my free time helping with animals. I love walking and love dogs so the two combined is perfect. Also happy to hangout with any animals or watch them overninght. I am very trustworthy and follow any directions that are given. I also make sure the pup gets to know me at it's own pace.
“Norelvis has been saving us, being willing to take our lab with alone anxiety on short notice and flexible with hours. Thank you so much for your help Norelvis! We’re so grateful to have found you.”

“Madeline, Turki and Samra took great care of Midnight! She adjusted so well to them and really loved them. They took her for several walks, played with her and fed her. It clearly shows that they cared for Midnight just as much for Samra. We are looking forward to Midnight boarding with them soon and several more day cares!”

“Nadia was reliable and I felt very safe leaving my puppy in her hands. She picked him up every morning at 9am, brought him to her home and returned him at 5pm. He had fun and got to play with other dogs and Nadia gave me peace of mind sending pictures and updates throughout the day. Thank you Nadia for an excellent job!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Campbell
Samie loved staying with Krystal! Krystal was very communicative and sent pictures throughout the day. Samie usually takes a while to warm up to people, but by the second day, she was wagging her tail and barking as we pulled up! We will be working with Krystal again soon. :)

Nabil was absolutely amazing with Margoh! Very attentive and caring, and I loved all the updates and pictures that were sent throughout her stay. Communication was great, and I felt completely comfortable knowing she was in such good hands. I would definitely love to have Margoh stay with them again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful sitter!
Sofiya took care my Shih Tzu Luca twice a week for the last few weeks. Luca looked forward to going there every time and she seemed to have a good time. Sofya seemed a very experienced person and was efficient in handling many dogs at once. I will go back to her when needed again

Diana and John take such good care of my Italian Greyhound, Benny. They are very communicative and send lots of great pictures. They take extra care in ensuring that a dog is a good fit for their group during the meet and greet before booking, and they have an ideal set up for the dogs at their home. Benny is always visibly excited when we come to daycare, and has even tried to go back in at pick up! Overall, I’ve had such a wonderful experience with them. Highly recommend

I would not hesitate to book with Eboney, who goes by Nisha, again. She was wonderful. After an unexpected medical emergency in our family we were able to find her and she got back to a so quickly! Despite having other bookings coming up she was able to help us modify our request so that she could watch our two dogs for at least part of the time that was necessary. My family is so appreciative of her. In addition, our dogs obviously loved her! On the second day they both were very excited to see her. One started barking in happy greeting and the other started pulling on the leash choking himself lol. Again my family is so grateful to Nisha and my dogs seem to have a wonderful time. She is now on our short list of sitters for when we are in the area visiting family.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Campbell commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
