Thank you for viewing my profile. I’m Larissa, 34 years old, SAHM and I decided to return pet sitting after almost 4 years of hiatus - I had several clients and reviews at that time. Besides my love for animals, I love the outdoors and good food - I have a degree in Bachelor of Nutrition/Dietetics and a specialization in herbalism. I have traveled to 14 different countries and many US states. And gained an appreciation for different cultures and I am confident with challenging situations. When I was 10 yo I got my first dog. I also was a mommy of a lovely black chow-chow who passed away few years ago. They were everything to me and I did my best for their happiness. In addition, when I was still living in Brazil I used to help my aunt with her dogs and cats (around 15) - she rescues from the streets and fix them. I’m very opened mind, warm-hearted and calm. Happy to chat anytime soon! Since I am a stay at home mom, I have plenty time for going on walks and cuddling those fluffy babies! I just need to have assurance that they are okay around small children (I have a 2yo and a 4yo - he goes to school). I like going on walks, and I have a fenced backyard for the safety of the dogs and my children. They are welcome in and out.

“We LOVE Madeline, but our dogs love her more. We met Madeline over 15 years ago. Our dog at the time was “very particular” with food, people, and more. When we found Madeline to walk and dog sit him, it was love at first sight for our dog. Her calm and personable demeanor had him sitting at her feet all night long. We hadn’t seen him act this way before, but he found his person. After his passing, we got two more dogs - and it was love at first sight for them too. She has a way with our dogs that no other dog sitter we’ve used has. She’s 100% reliable, trustworthy and so easy to communicate with. Our “special” instructions are followed and she goes out of her way to ensure they are taken care. They say dogs can read people, and every dog we’ve had or have seen around Madeline absolutely loves her.”

About: To say I love dogs would be a major understatement. I am passionate about dogs and even started my own dog bandana business. Growing up we always had dogs, so I've been training and caring for them through all staged of life, from puppy to senior, my entire life. I currently own a 4 year old chocolate lab that I have raised from a puppy, so I have lots of experience in training, puppies and what to look out for in a pet's individual needs. At family gatherings, we are surrounded by at least 6 dogs with varying ages, sizes, training, personalities and needs, so I am able to manage and adapt to all needs and whatever comes my way. I have dog sat many of times over the years with dogs both big and small and have helped with different medical and physical needs. I take care of each pet as they are my own, making sure they are happy, loved, well fed, exercised and safe :) I'm currently a stay at home dog mom, so I am available pretty much any time of day. Would be available during the day for drop in visits and walking. We have a fully fenced in backyard and I would never leave them unattended in the yard. When I am not home, I can crate your pet or allow them to roam free, as long as they are trained to do so. I have lots of experience in training pets, so I know how to puppy proof my home, potty train and crate training. I ensure that when your pet is with me, they are protected and treated just as they would be if you were at home.

“I can't recommend Justin for pet sitting enough! He's grown up with animals his whole life and he's got the whole pet parent thing down pat. He's a pretty athletic guy that likes to spend a lot of time outside. He's happy to play a game of fetch, go for a long run, hike.or chill out on the coach for some doggy cuddles. Living in California, his place is like a pet paradise, with a backyard that's basically a pet theme park. Plus, he's responsible, very communicative and friendly. Your pets will thank you!”
