The Cat Whisperer
There are plenty of people to take care of dogs. But how many people really understand the needs of your cat? I have developed an intuitive sense of cat psychology. I know when to be friendly, and when to be patient. I know precisely when a cat no longer wants to be petted. I will respect your cat's individual needs and wishes to the utmost. I've been surrounded by cats my whole life, usually adopting one or two at a time. I can administer medication: I find liquid medicine on wet food, or the use of Pill Pockets, most effective. I have experience with subcutaneous injections, insulin shots, and asthma inhalers for cats. I am also great with backyard chickens! I would be happy to take care of small caged pets such as hamsters, guinea pigs, lizards, birds, and fish. As part of each sit, I provide house-sitting services, such as gathering mail and deliveries, watering select plants, and security checks. Each visit lasts between 15-25 minutes, depending on the number, needs, and mood of the cat(s). $5/visit distance charge will be added to locations north of 280 or east of 87. **COVID UPDATE** I am always fully vaccinated against COVID and flu. I have always made it standard practice to thoroughly wash my hands before/after every sit, and after cleaning the litter box, to reduce cat-to-cat contamination. Upon request, I am happy to wear disposable gloves and/or a face mask for every visit. If I develop any symptoms, I will alert you immediately. You can cancel any sit for a full refund the day before any sit. **

Safety, trust & environment
Since cats are most comfortable in their own familiar space, I do not offer cat care in my home. I respect the rules and customs of your home; I'm happy to remove my shoes or put on foot coverings. I gauge each cat's personality and mood to determine if/when they want attention or privacy.

Teresa is indeed the "cat whisperer"! We set up a meet and greet, and she was very detailed and friendly. The cats both came out to greet her (even my shy kitty). During her visits, she took wonderful photos every day and sent details about how the visit went. The cats seemed very happy and well cared for. Teresa was even able to administer the kitty inhaler to my asthmatic cat who can get upset when other people try it. We already booked our next visit with Teresa!
Definitely a cat whisperer. Teresa is responsive, communicative, and super nice. Will be using her exclusively so long as she is available!

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule, and my cat clients are my first priority. I usually visit mid-morning, but depending on how many clients I have that day and each cat's needs, I also do afternoon and evening visits. I usually see 2 or 3 clients per day; on holidays no more than 5 or 6 to ensure each cat gets individual attention.
Prices include all fees.
