Cat Care by a Vet Tech
My name is Sara and I am a childless cat mom who loves spending time with cats more than anything else! I have over 19 years experience working with animals. I have three cats myself and we also feed several outside stray cats. My dream is to someday have a full farm of cats, all colors and personalities. My personal kitties names are Halfstache, Pinto Bean, and Norman. We also feed several outside kitties, their names are Cheech, Chong, and Tom. 😸💕🐾 I have worked with TNR groups to take care of the stray cats in our neighborhood and get them fixed. I have a big heart (sometimes too big) and I also have a California Registered Veterinary Technician license (RVT). I received my Bachelor’s degree in vet technology from Purdue University (West Lafayette, Indiana). I have daily experience working with animals with various different illnesses and disease processes. I look forward to taking care of your fur baby! 💕😸

I will stick to the routine that your cat is used to as much as I can (timings may vary). Let me know your routine for your cat(s), what times you feed them, if they are on any medications, and what they prefer to do for fun (sleeping, playing with toys, cuddling).

Sara cared for our old kitty almost every day we were gone on a two week trip, she did great at dealing with everything that came up!
Sara was awesome! She was attentive, helpful, and considerate. I appreciate all the effort she made to take care of everything while I was away. She had to cope with an unexpected power outage for two days and adapt to an uncooperative kitty--all handled like a pro. Sara gave me peace of mind while I was travelling and I would recommend her to any other pet's human.
This was our first time using Sara when our usual sitter was unavailable and she was great! She was very attentive during the initial meeting and it's very assuring to have a vet tech as our sitter as our cat gets older. She took fantastic care of our cat, going above and beyond! She sent lots of photos as well.
Sara did a wonderful job taking care of my cats! I was impressed with her professionalism and her immediate affinity for the cats during our pre-visit, and could tell that both cats really enjoyed their playtime with her. I felt like my cats were in great hands, and would definitely contact her again if the need arises.
We couldn't be happier with our experience with Sara! She visited our cats twice a day for 4 days and was incredibly attentive the whole time. On one occasion, one of our cats was reluctant to come inside for the night, so she returned later in the evening to make sure he was safely inside — that kind of dedication truly set her apart. Beyond the cat care itself, she went the extra mile by providing medication for out cat Cash, collecting our mail and making sure all doors were locked securely after every single visit. It's those thoughtful little details that gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Our cats were happy, our home was secure, and we came back to zero worries. We will absolutely be booking again and highly recommend Sara to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and thorough pet sitter! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Sara was wonderful! Great communication, lots of pictures. Our cats were totally comfortable with her (and they are NOT that way with everyone!). And she was able to trim their nails...even the cat who is more cautious/nervous. We haven't been able to do even one of his nails since we brought him home!

Schedule
I usually work during the daytime but occasionally I work a night shift at an emergency vet. I am available early mornings or early evening/ late afternoons. Please contact me so that we can work out details about timing and check ins/drop ins.
