I highly recommend Elliott as a pet sitter! He is reliable, caring, and great with animals. He kept us updated with messages and photos, giving us peace of mind while we were away. Our dog is always happy to stay at Elliott’s for overnight boarding. As a return customer of 3 years, we will definitely book with him again!

We love leaving our little Togo with Elliot! Togo can be very anxious and Elliot really understands how to give him the time and patience to settle down and help with his Separation anxiety. Togo really does well and is happy every time we leave him here for daycare!

Elliott has been taking care of my cats when I'm gone for several years now. He is very reliable, and the cats seem happy and well-fed when I return.

“*Ratings can be misleading, and unfortunately we were the clients where everything went wrong.*” We dropped off our 8 month old puppy for a 5 day vacation. We later learned just how attached and anxious our puppy is in unfamiliar environments, which we will absolutely account for going forward. That said, the way this stay was handled is unacceptable. Before leaving, we explicitly asked Elliott for multiple pictures throughout the day. Despite this, not a single update was sent without us chasing him down. Every single day, we had to message first. For someone advertising premium care, this level of communication is embarrassing. A lot of the reviews mention quick response and great communication, but that was not our experience. While we were already frustrated with the lack of professionalism, we were more displeased when we realized after getting home that the probiotic medication packets we left had not been used as instructed. These were carefully counted by meal. We received back roughly thirty percent of them, which tells us our puppy’s care instructions were not fully followed. Elliott’s profile does list that he provides oral medication skills. While on the trip, we were also told our puppy had a “little scratch” on his nose. No picture. No explanation. Elliott had absolutely no idea how it happened. The response we got was pure guesswork: maybe he scraped his nose at night, maybe another dog’s nail. That is not an explanation, that is negligence. Unfortunately, we were traveling and stuck relying on him at the time. Otherwise, my response at the time would not have been nearly as restrained. When I picked our puppy up, it was immediately obvious that this was not a “little scratch.” It was a very visible injury over an inch long right next to his nose. Calling that a small scrape is either dishonest or wildly careless. We chose one of the most expensive boarding options on Rover because we expected a premium, stress free experience. Instead, we got poor communication, an unexplained injury, ignored instructions, and zero accountability. At pickup, I found Elliott unapologetic and dismissive. He didn’t mention the injury until I brought it up, and his final comment to me was, “I will be okay with taking care of your puppy again.” That level of arrogance after a dog was injured under his care and brushed off is unbelievable. If you care about transparency, accountability, and basic professionalism, think very carefully before leaving your dog here. While this review may get buried under five star ratings, I feel obligated to share what actually happened.

Elliot is great! He’s helped us watch our dog in the past and this time he was available for drop in visits to give our diabetic cat insulin shots while we were gone. Elliot was kind and thorough and spent time with our cat to keep him company. Highly recommend working with Elliot
