I’m currently starting residency and my partner is studying for the bar, which gives us flexibility to check on your pets throughout the day and week. This allows us to spend quality, unrushed time with the pets we care for, whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company. I’m able to accommodate a variety of schedules, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and even last-minute requests when needed. Pet care fits naturally into my routine right now, and I genuinely enjoy spending my free time giving pets the attention, activity, and care they deserve.

Before caring for your pet, I like to learn as much as possible to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. It’s helpful to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, energy level, and any specific likes or dislikes. I also like to be aware of any medical needs, medications, allergies, or behavioral quirks. For dogs, it’s great to know how they do on walks, around other dogs or people, and if they have any training cues they respond to. For cats, I like to understand their personality whether they’re social, shy, or independent.
A typical day
A typical day with the pets I care for is centered around keeping them happy, active, and comfortable. For dogs, that usually includes walks tailored to their energy level, playtime with their favorite toys, and plenty of attention and affection. I’m happy to reinforce routines like feeding schedules and basic training during our time together. For cats, I make sure they’re fed on schedule, their litter box is clean, and they get interaction based on their personality whether that’s playtime, cuddles, or just relaxed companionship. I also provide updates and photos so you can see how much fun your pet is having while you’re away!

Growing up I had a boxer who was my whole world! My partner and I now have a small 15 lb terrier mix and an orange cat with a huge personality. I just finished medical school and planning on becoming a neurologist and my partner just finished law school and is studying for the bar. We’d love to help take care of your pet
