About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals my entire life, which sparked a deep passion for caring for them. Throughout college, I became the go-to pet sitter for several of my professors, caring for their pets for extended periods of time—sometimes up to 2½ weeks. I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets. I’m attentive, responsible, and genuinely love getting to know each animal’s unique personality and needs. Whether your pet needs lots of playtime, extra cuddles, or simply a calm and reliable companion while you’re away, I’m happy to give them the care and attention they deserve. I’m currently working part time, averaging about 20 hours a week, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to taking care of your fur babies! Since I have several years of experience in housesitting/petsitting, I am extremely respectful of another persons space. I have gotten high regards in how clean I leave a home. When it comes to the pets, I treat them as if they are my own, which means I tend to them on hand and foot. Since raising and building a relationship with my feral cat, I have developed patience and understanding for animals that don’t yet trust me.
“Kristin provided excellent care for my Lizzy. She was punctual and ensured Lizzy well entertained in my absence. I’d highly recommend Kristin to anyone looking for to take care for their animal when away. Thank you, Kristin”

“Ashley took excellent care of my cat Jack! She was responsive, loving, played with him, sent great photos, and even helped with the packages. I would definitely book her again!”

“Rachel was a huge help when we needed to go on a trip and leave our cat at home. Our little geriatric furball is 18 years old and needs special treatment and medication. Rachel was already experienced in piling cats and handled it perfectly. She was reliable, communicative, and very caring. We hope not to need to leave her home again but would definitely book Rachel again if we ever need to.”

About: I have done dog walking and sittings on other apps and with neighbors for 5 years! I have 50+ 5 star reviews on WAG! I also own 2 beautiful pups and have taken care of dogs my whole life. I have a serving job during nights, but I have open ability during the day every day of the week! I like to fit in walks whenever I can! I can not take any more pets into my home, but would love to do sittings and take care of pets at clients homes! *
“Very great experience with Mary! She was very good with my golden retriever spiky! Since it was hot she made sure to adjust the walk so he wouldn’t get too hot and she was very flexible when I had a change in schedule too! Definitely recommend”

“Yu-Wen did a great job caring for our cats. Typically Yuki and Akira are shy and run from new people. My husband and I could tell from the first pictures Yu-Wen sent us, our girls were very comfortable and happy. You-Wen kept us well informed on how are girls were doing. We highly recommend him and we do plan to book him in the future.”

“Sejla is amazing! She took excellent care of my kitty and sent comprehensive updates each visit. My cat is a big people kitty, so I always worry about her when I leave. It was a relief to know she was in such good hands with Sejla.”

About: Hello! My name is Morgan. I’m a 20 year old college student and I’ve been caring for pets for as long as I can remember. Starting in high school, I volunteered at a cat shelter for about a year so I have experience caring for cats and kittens! Though I specialize in cats, I also possess a great love of dogs. I currently have two dogs, an 8 year old German shepherd mix and a 17.5 year old blind chihuahua. I know how stressful and scary it can feel to leave your pet with someone new. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing that your furry friend is loved and well cared for. You can expect clear communication, lots of updates, and photos so you will never have to wonder how your pet is doing while you’re away. During each visit, your pet can expect more than just the basics. They’ll get attention, playtime, and the enrichment they’re used to getting at home. After years of caring for pets, I’ve come to realize that every animal has their own personality, needs, and routine and I take the time to make sure every pet is understood. I’m a college student but I’m doing school online this semester while I recover from spine surgery so I have lots of availability. I’m able to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays. I have two friendly dogs! An 8 year old German shepherd mix named Willow and a 17.5 year old Chihuahua named Vinnie. I also have two cats named Mars and Paisley who are 8 years old and very well behaved. At your house, your pet will be given the same level of care, attention, and treats they get at home. Your cat or dog will be given lots of playtime and walks.
“Chris was an amazing sitter for our little guy, Toby! After meeting Chris for the first time and seeing him with our dog, I knew he would be a good fit and had no qualms about having him take care of Toby. We booked Chris for 5 days while we went to visit family out of town. Our 5 day trip was unexpectedly extended when a snow storm cancelled our flight and we were unable to get on a new flight for another 5 days. Luckily, Chris was available (this was the week of Christmas and NYE!) and had no problem adjusting to our delay. He even went to the store to buy more dog food when we ran out! Overall, Chris is a really friendly guy and I will definitely book with him whenever we are in need!”

“My pup loves Katerinne, he is very excited to see her for walks. She is also very thoughtful and recently brought in a heavy dog food package inside for me while I was out. Highly recommend!”

“Kate was incredible. She was super communicative and did a great job taking care of our fur baby ❤️ it’s great to be able to enjoy leaving town knowing our doggo will be well taken care of!”

I make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of exercise and playtime, bathroom breaks, and lots of attention and affection. I also keep their environment clean, monitor their well-being, and provide updates with photos so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for.
“Debbie went above and beyond watching our two fur babies. If Lupini & Truffle could leave 10/5 stars they would! She loved and cared for them like they were her own. We are so lucky to have found Debbie!”

“Courtney did an amazing job looking after our cat during the holidays. Felipe can be skittish with strangers, but Courtney took the time to meet him beforehand, and made sure he got plenty of interaction time each day. Usually it takes Felipe a few days to readjust after we go out of town. This time it was like we never left at all!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Cambrian Park
Gabriel was a wonderful cat sitter for my cat, Moushi. He was always on time and paid great attention to every detail, making sure nothing was overlooked. What I especially appreciated was the time and effort he put into earning Moushi’s trust in the beginning. He was patient and genuinely cared about making her feel comfortable. It gave me great peace of mind knowing that Moushi was in such caring and reliable hands. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a thoughtful and dependable cat sitter!

Sophia is a fantastic cat sitter! She was reliable, communicative, and took wonderful care of my cat Zima. The daily updates and photos kept me completely at ease while I was gone. Everything was tidy, and I can tell my cat Zima enjoyed her time with Sophia. I couldn't have asked for a better experience—highly recommended!

We always know our cat is in good hands with Cassidy, and we're so grateful for how well she follows any instructions we leave. It's such peace of mind not having to worry about our cat when we're out of town, and Cassidy always sends wonderful updates and pictures. I highly recommend her!

Rachel did a great job taking care of our 2 cats! We had a last-minute trip come up, and she was quick to agree to watch them. One of our cats needs insulin shots twice a day, and she was comfortable giving them to him. We felt completely comfortable leaving the cats in her care and would definitely have her watch them again!

Kathleen is a warm, compassionate person who loves animals. She exudes the type of calm energy that my cat immediately felt safe in. I could tell by the fact that my cat didn’t spend the whole time hiding! Her pet report is detailed and well written and her pictures of my cat were so cute. I highly recommend her

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cambrian Park. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
