“Nasrin was great working with my small dogs while I was away. They loved her caring approach. She was also responsive and always sent updates and pictures which I really appreciated. :)”

“Ashley was amazing during her drop in visits with our 2 kitties! She was communicative, on time, and made sure to send lots of pictures and videos - Guapo our spicy male kitty really seemed to enjoy her company as well! We would absolutely reccomend her to anyone in the area looking!”

“Sejla is amazing! She took excellent care of my kitty and sent comprehensive updates each visit. My cat is a big people kitty, so I always worry about her when I leave. It was a relief to know she was in such good hands with Sejla.”

“Kristin has great connection with my cat. My cat love her so much! Also, she can handle auto litter box , water fountain as well! Will hire her again if needed.”

About: As an avid animal-lover, I've cared for both dogs and cats professionally and personally for the majority of my life. In my book, every animal is deserving of the highest standard of care, be it young or old, large or small. I have experience matching the energy of young puppies eager to explore the world for the first time alongside the patience and gentleness required to care for their seniors. I'm currently a community college student, so outside of classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and family time Sunday evenings, my availability is open to all of your pet care needs! My #1 priority with any animal is to establish what kind of interaction they enjoy, as every dog or cat is different. If your pet wants constant play while I'm hanging out with them in your home, I'm more than happy to provide, just as much as I am happy to be a chill buddy for those who prefer to relax. Attentiveness is key!
“Lora was very responsive and communicative from the beginning. The cats took to her right away, and were not hiding, which is always a great sign. She sent photo updates and was punctual and accommodative. Would have her cat sit again in the future!”

About: I’ve been around cats and dogs for about 5 years and I genuinely love spending time with them. I have two cats of my own, so I know every pet has their own little personality and routine. I’m happy to feed them, play with them, go on walks, clean up after them, or just keep them company while you’re away. I’ll make sure your pet gets lots of attention and feels comfortable with me! My schedule is pretty flexible, so I usually have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I’m available throughout the week and can work around your pet’s usual routine. I’ll make sure your pets feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m happy to follow whatever routine they’re used to, whether that means walks, playtime, feeding, or just hanging out with them. I’ll also keep you updated so you know how they’re doing!
“Rachel was available on short notice when I needed help with my puppy, and from the start she brought a calm, responsible presence that put me at ease. I had previously met her at a volunteer food drive, which spoke to her integrity and character before I ever entrusted her with my dog. As a Velcro-dog owner (especially doodle and cockapoo families — you understand), leaving was hard. While I was away, she took time to speak with me on the phone, listened thoughtfully, and helped me reframe my fears in a sound, steady way. That meant a great deal. She was flexible, trustworthy, and attentive. Nearly two weeks after returning home, my puppy is actually better adjusted than before I left — he gained a healthy sense of independence, and I gained peace of mind. Rachel is top-notch. I would absolutely trust her again.”

“My pup loves Katerinne, he is very excited to see her for walks. She is also very thoughtful and recently brought in a heavy dog food package inside for me while I was out. Highly recommend!”

“Debbie went above and beyond watching our two fur babies. If Lupini & Truffle could leave 10/5 stars they would! She loved and cared for them like they were her own. We are so lucky to have found Debbie!”
“Chris was an amazing sitter for our little guy, Toby! After meeting Chris for the first time and seeing him with our dog, I knew he would be a good fit and had no qualms about having him take care of Toby. We booked Chris for 5 days while we went to visit family out of town. Our 5 day trip was unexpectedly extended when a snow storm cancelled our flight and we were unable to get on a new flight for another 5 days. Luckily, Chris was available (this was the week of Christmas and NYE!) and had no problem adjusting to our delay. He even went to the store to buy more dog food when we ran out! Overall, Chris is a really friendly guy and I will definitely book with him whenever we are in need!”

“Kate was awesome. This was our first time using Rover, but we saw how good Kate’s reviews were, and she definitely lived up to her previous reviews’ high praise. Kate watched our senior cat for about 9 days. Her updates were thorough and informative, and she took the best care of our cat even with our somewhat specific instructions! We really appreciated some of the little extra efforts Kate provided (she ran the dishwasher to clean some of our cat’s bowls and she made sure to close the windows on a particularly smoggy day). We highly recommend Kate and will be using her services again next time we travel!”

“I am very happy with the care provided to my cats. Yuki and Akira seemed really comfortable and playful. Yu-Wen was great about sending photos and giving me updates. I highly recommend him.”

About: My connection with animals isn’t just a hobby, it’s second nature. I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and cats since I was 6 years old, meaning I have a lifetime of hands-on experience understanding their unique personalities, moods, and needs. While I don't currently have pets of my own, my heart is completely full of love ready to give to yours! Because I have a very flexible schedule, pet care isn't something I squeeze into a busy workday, it’s the main event! My routine is naturally built around giving pets the time, attention, and structured care they need to feel completely safe and loved. Because I live in a small apartment, I prefer to provide in-home services instead but can make exceptions for small pets to have in my home.

She took wonderful care of my cats, as she always does! I can always count on her to give them the love, attention, and care they need. She does such a fantastic job, and I feel completely at ease knowing they’re in her hands. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter!

Elise took amazing care of my cat, Aggie, who had two veterinary emergencies while I was away. Elise handled contacting me and the vet, took Aggie to the vet urgent care twice, administered medications day and night, and communicated in a calm and reassuring manner. I highly recommend Elise for your pet care needs—she is exactly who you want with your beloved pet when you cannot be there.
Rachel did a great job taking care of our 2 cats! We had a last-minute trip come up, and she was quick to agree to watch them. One of our cats needs insulin shots twice a day, and she was comfortable giving them to him. We felt completely comfortable leaving the cats in her care and would definitely have her watch them again!

Kathleen is a warm, compassionate person who loves animals. She exudes the type of calm energy that my cat immediately felt safe in. I could tell by the fact that my cat didn’t spend the whole time hiding! Her pet report is detailed and well written and her pictures of my cat were so cute. I highly recommend her

Rachel is an exceptional cat sitter, and I cannot recommend her highly enough! While we were abroad for a month, she took wonderful care of our two cats—one indoor and one outdoor. Her frequent communication throughout our trip gave us total peace of mind, knowing that both our home and our kitties were in wonderful hands so we could relax and enjoy our vacation. Midway through our trip, our outdoor cat suffered an infection, likely from a fight. Rachel spotted the issue right away, alerted us to the medical emergency, and coordinated seamlessly with us and our neighbor to get the cat to his vet. Following his surgery, she attentively administered his daily medications and sent detailed updates after every visit. We were deeply grateful for how carefully and lovingly she handled the entire situation, treating our cat as if he were her own. Rachel is truly top-notch, and we will without a doubt be rebooking her for all our future pet sitting needs!
Cassidy did a great job. She was very conscientious and attentive to our six 4-legged creatures, some of whom have fur, some of whom have scales, and some of whom have that rubbery skin-like substance that amphibian and gecko legs are made of. Thank you, Cassidy!

Jeanne was on time the two mornings to feed our feral cats which are three to four of them, though these cats she will not see since they hide until she leaves our front yard. Yet, we invited her into our front room when she came to our front door and Jeanne has a wonderful spirit who can talk about just about anything plus no shyness is there about her. Jeanne smiles, laughs and keeps eye contact while we all talked also. Lovely personality she has... I'm glad she lives close by us too. Thank you. Sincerely, Mrs. Bonnie Kellerby

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cambrian Park. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
