“Erika is professional, kind, responsible, and kept me updated on my pup while I was away. I had her stay at my home while I was away. She was clean and organized and make sure to send me pictures of my little guy. She was excellent and I highly recommend.”

“We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Stephanie! From the very first meeting, she made us all feel so comfortable. She is truly a dog person who goes above and beyond for every pup in her care. We have two dogs with very different needs: one is reactive, and the other has ongoing medical requirements. Finding someone we trust with both of them felt daunting but Stephanie came in with calmness, confidence, and knowledge, knowing exactly how to approach our reactive dog and handling our other pup's medical needs with skill and care. Stephanie was wonderful at keeping me in the loop and made it obvious that our dogs' comfort and wellbeing were her top priority. We feel so incredibly lucky to have found her and will asolutely be booking with her again. If you have dogs with special needs, look no further!”

“Tracey was phenomenal from the first meeting. She stayed with our 3 rescues for 9 days and not only took care of their basic needs, but made them feel comfortable in our absence. Their individual quirks did not phase her at all. Tracey had the desire to understand each dog and know how to best care for and interact with each one as they are all very different from one another. Upon our return all 3 dogs were calm and happy and had clearly been well cared for; in addition our house was left spotless and organized. Tracey is a professional and uses her extensive experience with dogs to provide exceptional care to the dogs lucky enough to stay with her.”

“Rose was just awesome with our two elderly dogs. She is kind and gentle and they immediately liked her. Rose was an excellent communicator and took a lot of time getting to better understand their unique care needs.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for years through family, friends, and neighbors, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals of all energy levels! I grew up with a hyper poodle-terrier mix, so I’m very comfortable with energetic dogs and active playtime. I also currently have a mellow, cuddly polydactyl Russian Blue cat, so I’m comfortable with both high-energy pets and calmer ones. As a law student, I take responsibility seriously and pride myself on being reliable, attentive, and detail-oriented. I’ll make sure your pets feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding schedules, administering basic medications, and giving pets extra patience and attention when needed. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos throughout the stay. I’m currently waiting to start my summer job in June, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m available throughout the week for overnight stays, walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and check-ins. I’m happy to accommodate different routines and care needs. I understand how important it is to trust someone with both your pets and your home. I’ll make sure to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I’m attentive during walks and always respectful of my client’s homes and instructions.

About: * Long walks, happy paws, and loving care. * Where every walk feels like an adventure. * Treating your pets like they’re my own. * Making tails wag and pet parents smile. * Trusted pet care with a lifelong love of animals. After recently retiring, I now have the freedom to spend my time caring for pets. Staying active is important to me, and my daily 4-mile walks make me a great companion for dogs who enjoy exercise, adventure, and lots of attention. I specialize in drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting at your home so your pets can stay where they feel most at ease.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, which has shaped my understanding of their needs, routines, and personalities. I’ve always been involved in caring for my own family pets, including feeding, walking, and giving them consistent attention. Beyond that, I’ve pet sat overnight and walked dogs for neighbors, friends, family, and others. Through these experiences, I’ve developed a strong sense of responsibility and feel comfortable caring for dogs with a wide range of temperaments and energy levels. As a college student home for the summer, I have a flexible and open schedule, including weekdays and weekends, and I’m happy to help with last-minute needs. I’d love the chance to spend time with and care for your pets! When taking care of pets I like to keep things consistent with their usual routine by making sure they’re fed, have fresh water, get regular walks, and plenty of attention and love. I aim to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away!
“Chris was extremely helpful during a time of need for our dogs Sage and Huey! He was dedicated, professional, and took the best care of our two dogs. He even made an extra trip when asked and we are extremely grateful for his help. We would love to work with him again in the future! 10/10 highly recommended!”

“Kaili took excellent care of my shy, anxious dog. She kept me informed and sent great pics and videos. She obviously formed a warm bond with my dog. And she left my house spotless. Thank you!”

“Rachel was wonderful with our energetic little dog. She left the house cleaner than we left it, gave her lots of activity and love, and was an excellent communicator! I felt so safe having her with Little Bear!”

“Courtney was great! She is super friendly and inspired confidence right from the meet and greet. She took excellent care of our pups, and sent amazing pics throughout just a one night stay. It was so comforting to know that they looked happy and were having fun with her. She also took them on a walk each day so it was great to come home from our trip to happy but tired dogs. ;) Would 100% want Courtney to watch Sadie and Red again!”

“Danyel was absolutely amazing! This was my first time leaving my baby since I adopted her and I was quite nervous as she's anxious and high energy. Danyel was so understanding and communicative the entire time. She updated me with pictures and texts multiple times daily which alleviated all of my anxiety. Thumbelina(my dog) absolutely loved her and seemed totally relaxed. My apartment was spotless when i came back and I couldn't be more grateful. I will absolutely be booking with her again and would recommend her to anyone with animals themselves!!”

“This was our first experience with Rover and Etta. She did a wonderful job caring for our 2 year old dog and 4 cats while we were away for 5-1/2 days. She sent us pictures and updated us regularly. She was very flexible and easy to communicate with. We appreciate her. We would definitely recommend Etta and will use her again if needed.”

“Scarlett took such wonderful care of our dog, Snow Cone! She was so kind, flexible to a couple of last minute changes, and took lots of great photos. She communicated really well with us, with very prompt responses, and asked great questions during the meet and greet. We are excited to book her again soon!”

“Over and above. She took great care of pets and they love her. Great communication and fun pics of animals. Already booked her for my next trip. It is so nice to be able to relax and know animals are well taken care of.”

Etta was really great with the animals while we were gone on our trip! She cared for two dogs and two cats and even stepped up last minute for us! Everybody was happy, well cared for, and we got great updates and pictures! I hope she can take care of them next time we are gone!
Maya was very responsive and reliable during the initial search process and the house sitting time. She stayed with Doug for 2 nights/3 days. She sent us a picture update during her time with Doug, and communicated at various points to check in. We will be using Maya’s services again soon!

Coralee is the best! She took wonderful care of my two dogs and three birds while I was out of town. She kept in frequent communication with notes and pictures which showed how much fun all of the critters were having! I came home to a spotless house and happy cared for animals. I will definitely be booking Coralee again.

We recently used Leilani to take care of our puppy Leo from 5am to 8pm while we hiked Vernal Falls in Yosemite, and she did a great job. She arrived on time, took good care of Leo in our home, and kept him comfortable throughout the day. She also took him on two walks, which we really appreciated. Leo seemed happy and well cared for when we got back. We would definitely consider using her again in the future.

Ben was great. He cared for Sophie, our high-energy German Shepherd mix for 10 days, in our home. He took great care of Sophie, and she liked him immediately. He did everything exactly as we asked, and took good care of our home as well. He sent photos of their walks and playtime every day, and always made us comfortable that things were going well. I would highly recommend Ben.

Sejla took amazing care of our 10 year old Golden Retriever Cooper while we were on vacation in Europe. We received twice daily updates about how Cooper was doing, including pictures during walks and his normal daily antics. It was apparent to us, that Cooper was very comfortable with Sejla, and rarely left her side during the day or night. Sejla also took amazing care of our home, as she left the house cleaner than we left it. We recommend Sejla highly.

Tatiana has been looking after my dog (a very spoiled dog, btw) for the past couple of days, and everything has been great: - Constant communication - Followed all the guidelines - Sent updates/photos, which every dog owner secretly refreshes their phone for 😄 Honestly, I’m no longer sure my dog still sees me as his favorite human… I may have some competition now 😂

This is my second time booking with Cassidy to house sit my animals, and I don’t want to have to book with anyone else ever again. She is nothing but professional and responsive when communicating, attentive and loving to my animals, and proactive in cleaning up after herself and the animals and things I didn’t even think to ask for.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Cambrian Park on Rover is $59.37 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 3,863 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Cambrian Park. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Cambrian Park walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Cambrian Park maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Cambrian Park choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cambrian Park. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
