Peaceful Home for Senior& Calm Dogs
🐾 Peaceful Boarding for Senior & Calm Dogs🐾 Hi, I’m Seannie — a lifelong animal lover and experienced sitter who provides a calm, nurturing environment for senior pets, mellow companions, and those who thrive in peaceful surroundings. I’ve cared for hundreds of dogs and cats over the years and have built lifelong bonds with many of them. Each animal has its own personality and rhythm, and I take great care to honor their unique needs — whether that means slow strolls, cozy naps, or quiet companionship. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, safe, and loved, just like they’re at home. I specialize in caring for: 🐶 Senior dogs who need extra patience, soft energy, and gentle routines 🐕🦺 Low-energy or mild-tempered pets who prefer peace and predictability 🐾 Small dogs who appreciate calm spaces and mindful attention Your loved one will receive emotional support, affection, and reassurance, along with age-appropriate walks, cuddles, and enrichment. I am careful with selecting which furry friends to watch in order to maintain a tranquil, stress-free environment. You can expect frequent photo updates and open communication every step of the way — I understand how important peace of mind is when you’re away. A little about me: I was born and raised in San Jose, California, and have been pet sitting since I was 15 years old. I studied Communication Studies and Humanities at San Jose State University, Educational Psychology at Cal Poly Humboldt, and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University. People often describe me as empathic, mindful, and deeply compassionate — qualities I bring into every interaction with your beloved pets. If your furry friend loves a quiet home, a soft voice, and gentle care — they’ll feel right at home here.

Once again, we were lucky to have Sean watch over our home and our retriever Marty while we were traveling. She’s attentive, reliable, honest and professional. She treated our pup like her own. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. 11/10 Recommend.

We are so grateful for the warm and thoughtful care Sean gives our cats when we’re away. Kind and communicative, Sean is a pleasure to work with!

Sean took wonderful care of our two cats and our home. We were out of the country for nearly two weeks on a wildly different time zone, but Sean’s warm and consistent communication made us feel at ease! We loved working with her and will definitely reach out again for our next cat care needs.

We feel so lucky to have Sean take care of our Teddy while away. She always sends photos and updates as to how he’s doing which we appreciate so much. Our dog is 14 now, and she takes such good care and does what she can to make him comfortable during his stay.

Sean took great care of Tucker while we were gone. We received updates and photos along the way and it was great to see that he was happy and adjusting well. Highly recommend!

Schedule
For drop in visits, I typically spend at last an HR or more with your pet ( even if rover says 30 min) depending on their needs and the specified arrangement. For house sitting I am typically home through out the weekends. On weekdays I have school starting in September for 3 hours 3 days per week. Your pooch will sleep wherever they are most comfortable ( usually they choose to be beside me at all times with easy access to their crate). During winter holiday I will be home throughout the day and night except when I step out to go to the grocery store or gym.

MEET & GREETS: -Meet and Greets are required before booking a house sitting request. -Meet and Greets are typically 30 minutes for house sitting and 10 min for boarding. -Remember ****There is only ONE meet and greet. I do not do multiple meet and greets***. -Meet and greets are no more than 45 minutes otherwise there is additional charge for my time ($5 per 10 min beyond 45 minutes). -If you wish to have an additional Meet and Greet or more time you can book through Rover a dog walking request for 30 minutes. -Please refer to my pricing on Rover; pricing fluctuates during the holidays*** for larger or more energetic dogs I might increase rates if they require more stimulation and monitoring any challenging behaviors. -Please be prepared with your questions and anything that I should know about your house. -Instructions should also be provided in writing/print and accessible during the Meet and Greet. -Instructions should be legible in writing or preferably typed and printed out on the kitchen counter for me to review, emailed to me or uploaded to your Rover Profile. Meet & Greets pricing continued: -First meet and greet is free of charge -During the meet and greet I may request to take your dog for a brief 10 minute walk to ensure that it is safe to walk with your dog. I follow the instructions owners provide which should be typed and printed out so that I can review upon arrival. I will adhere to the instructions and schedule provided.
Pets
A typical day
Doggies will have at least one walk per day for around 30 min. Depending on behaviors and temperament, some dogs will go on hikes and visits to the park. All dogs must have a well fitted, secure, tested and reliable harness*** If dog tries to step out/ back out/ escape from harness during walks then it is not safe to go on walks or go to the park. If your dog eats foreign objects like plants, sticks, rocks, then I will not be able to accommodate them and it would be safer to board with another sitter as I have a backyard with lots of plants, trees and other natural landscaping. If your dogs dig under fences or jumps fences, please seek boarding elsewhere. If your dog bites, humps, or urinates in the house repeatedly then I will not be able to accommodate your dog's needs.
