About: I've taken care of pets of all kinds for many years. As a dog owner and mom to teenage children, I'm used to dealing with whatever comes up. I'm always punctual, reliable, and I'll love your pets. I have several volunteer commitments, and teenage children, but I'm generally very flexible and can work with you to fit around your pets' needs. I am Fear Free Certified, trained in proper husbandry and handling for a range of species, and educate new owners on such. Sophie was nice enough to come meet our dogs before she watched them the first time, making sure she was prepared to take the best care of them possible. She communicated clearly and did a perfect job watching our two pups. She checked in frequently and shared photos of our dogs as well. Sophie is great and would be a great sitter for all pets!
Ben was great. He cared for Sophie, our high-energy German Shepherd mix for 10 days, in our home. He took great care of Sophie, and she liked him immediately. He did everything exactly as we asked, and took good care of our home as well. He sent photos of their walks and playtime every day, and always made us comfortable that things were going well. Sharon is the BEST!!! She provided prompt communication, several pics and videos of our pups, and took wonderful care of them!! She even vacuumed the pile of dog hair I usually come home to, took out the trash, and left the house as she found it!! She is 10/10 and I would absolutely recommend her!!

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
