About: Have been caring primarily for cats and some elder dogs since 2020. Friends, neighbors, and family know I am the go to person for all their pet sitting needs. Melanie is an absolute godsend. I was looking for a last minute sitter to stay with my special tripawd who can be a little timid with new people. Melanie sent me pictures every day, and at the end even sent an entire album! Chia was so sad to see her leave—when I came home I saw that she left cartoons on for her. Maria house sat our 10 month old German shepherd puppy for a three day weekend and he was very well looked after and played and cuddled with. We were wondering what to do with our pup when we were traveling since the friends we usually leave him with were also traveling. We found Maria on Rover and she came home for a quick meet and greet at short notice. She and our pup hit it off immediately so that was a big relief for us to leave him with her. She also kept us posted with photos and videos and other updates. Overall a good experience for us and for our pup.

Ava was so amazing with our three pets. She stayed in our home to watch our dog and two cats. I had never left our dog with anyone except family, so I was nervous going in. Ava was so wonderful with all three animals, and sent frequent updates so I didn’t have to worry if they were okay. She handled our stubborn dog and picky senior cats with so much patience and flexibility. Our time away went so smoothly because of how wonderful she was.
