About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and genuinely love caring for them. I grew up with both dogs and cats, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and temperaments. I currently have two dogs of my own, Rush (93 lbs) and Chase (53 lbs), so I’m very experienced handling larger dogs as well as more sensitive ones. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your dog, and I treat them all like they’re my own. I’m attentive, patient, and reliable. Whether your dog needs a high-energy walk, a calm and steady pace, or just someone who understands their quirks, I’ve got it covered. I’m also very mindful of safety, leash control, and making sure your pup is comfortable at all times. You can expect clear communication, updates, and someone who genuinely cares about your pup’s well-being, not just getting the walk done. I work during the day but am consistently available in the evenings on weekdays and have flexible, open availability on weekends. I’m reliable with scheduling and do my best to accommodate requests with clear communication and timely updates. I prioritize safety, structure, and your pet’s comfort at all times. I follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walking, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m experienced handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments, including larger, stronger dogs. During walks, I focus on leash control, awareness of surroundings, and avoiding unsafe situations with other dogs or distractions. In your home, I respect your space, keep things clean, and make sure your pet feels secure and stress-free. You’ll always receive updates and photos so you know exactly how your pet is doing.
“Mary was amazing! She dog sat at our home with our 35 lb frenchy-pit mix. She was with her for 4 days. She sent multiple pictures a day and helped a nervous fur-mama feel very comforted. She left the house immaculate! I feel so lucky to have found her. Thank you, Mary!!”

“Sejla is AMAZING!! I feel so lucky that I found her on Rover! My six year old boxer, and my two cats all loved her, she was polite, professional, responsive, and I could tell truly cared about my animals feeling loved and comfortable in my absence! I have already booked her for all my trips this year, and if I could give her more than five stars, I would!!”

“Natalee stayed with my dog Billi, a codependent Cavalier King Charles :), while we were away for the weekend. She went above and beyond in giving him all the love and support and walks, while we were gone. I could tell from all the pictures she provided that was felt safe, secure, and loved! I look forward to future opportunities to work with Natalee.”

About: I volunteered at a dog fostering agency called DPS for a year- which dealt with taking care of dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I love dogs and have one of my own from the very agency I worked with! My dog is always at home and needs a lot of attention as shes gotten older. The responsibility is divided as my parents are also home often to take care of her. But when I was volunteering I would be with dogs for 5 hours every other weekend! I can follow any dietary guidelines for dogs and can definitely take them for a walk or run if they need it. I love to play with dogs, but be assured that I will not move if your dog would much rather just curl up against someone.
“Elizabeth did a wonderful job caring for our little dog, Coco. She connected well with Coco during our meet and greet. Coco is a bit shy and she warmed to Elizabeth immediately. While we were away, Elizabeth sent us updates of how the two of them were doing. She also took excellent care of our home — leaving things nicer than she found them! I would highly recommend her as a dog and house sitter. We are looking forward to having her back!”

About: I have house sat for many families, and a majority of them had pets. I love getting the chance to connect with a furbaby and take them for fun walks, grooming them, playtime, or just keep them company and lounge if they are more low-key! I have also owned dogs my whole life (Springer Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, Pugs, Jack Russel Terrier/Beagle mix, and currently a 3-year old Cattle Dog mix. I have great experience with an array of different pet types and personalities. One time I house sat and took care for a dog, cat, two goats, and ten chickens. I am very flexible and open to helping accommodate to what is most helpful for you. Thank you for considering me, I look forward to meeting you and your furbaby soon. I work 9-5 in the office on Monday-Wednesday. Other days are much more flexible depending on any special events happening that week. I also have a dog of my own to care for. I am unable to house a pet in my place of living at this time. I take safety and trust extremely seriously while house sitting and can frequently update the client on their pet(s)’ wellbeing.
“Grant was great. Not only did he keep Athena fed, walked, and safe, he also worked with her regarding various training issues, like having her wait at the door for permission to go through, barking, etc. She liked him the moment she met him, and he let me know how she was doing.”

“As a first time rover user i was pretty hesitant to use the app, but Tiana has ensured that i use it more going forward. She is prompt, shares lots of pet pics while im away, and i think my cat ended up missing her when i got back”

“Jamie is so great! She is prompt, polite, and takes such amazing care of Koopa. She is a great communicator and sent us lots of pictures of their day together! We always have peace of mind when Jamie spends time with Koopa!”

“Hannah is just wonderful! She is reliable and provides such attentive care for my mini Goldendoodle! Raja enjoys all the walks, play time, and cuddles! We appreciate the regular updates on Raja throughout the day. I highly recommend Hannah!!”

“Darya was amazing! She sent me multiple daily updates with photos. The animals loved her right away which was very reassuring and she left my house very clean and even stripped the sheets! I will be using her again.”

“Scarlett took such wonderful care of our dog, Snow Cone! She was so kind, flexible to a couple of last minute changes, and took lots of great photos. She communicated really well with us, with very prompt responses, and asked great questions during the meet and greet. We are excited to book her again soon!”

“Vanessa was great! She stayed at our house for three nights to take care of our cat. She was on-time, responsive, and sent us photos multiple times throughout the day. We'd definitely book her again.”

“We are so so happy with Erika! She’s an absolute animal lover, and our dogs were comfortable with her immediately. Amazing communication and sending us pictures and updates the whole time the…peace of mind we needed. Thank you Erika!”

“We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Shannon! We live in an RV fulltime, and wanted to take a quick trip without the RV. I was so grateful to learn that Shannon is very knowledgeable on RV living. She took great care of our dogs, cat, and RV while we were gone. She was easy to contact, came for a meet and greet, showed up on time, kept me updated with text and photos, and left our home cleaner than we left it. I would absolutely use her again when we come through the area.”
“Yumi has now taken care of my cat, Sherlock, 4 times this winter and they’ve really bonded. I always come home to a happy, healthy cat, and know that he is in good hands while we are away. Yumi is always very communicative throughout the stay and is very detailed-oriented when following directions. Our apartment is very tidy when we come home, which is an awesome bonus. Yumi is great!”

“Rachel is a very kind and attentive cat sitter. My cat has quite the care regimen needing an inhaler, wet food, and access to a catio. Rachel did great with all of it and had a great attention to detail for other aspects of our home. We’re very happy knowing that both our cat and home were in great care while we were away and she took care of them both as if they were her own. We’d love to work with her again in the future.”

About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs & cats, as well as my friends’ for the last 15 years. I have experience with big ones, small ones, feisty, friendly… they all deserve all the love. I’m currently working part-time, mostly off my phone, so I will have plenty of time to have quality time with your pet(s)! I’ve had animals with a more regimented schedule & others that are low maintenance- happy to accommodate both. I have a fenced yard & a small senior Shih Tzu to keep your animal company! There’s also lots of parks in the area- both with other dogs, or more private.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Champagne Fountain
Morgan saved us from a terrible situation with another sitter while we were in another country. She came into a situation that we didn’t understand nor did we have visibility to the state of our apartment. It was bad. Morgan worked with us and our dog tirelessly while dealing with a disgusting apartment from our previous sitter. She helped coordinate with a cleaner and she helped coordinate with my friend to check on our dog. She sent endless photos and updates. She was incredibly communicative, thorough, and we truly cannot recommend her enough. If you want peace of mind, choose Morgan.

Kathy was an absolutely wonderful house and dog sitter! She gave Stetson so much love and attention, and it was clear from the daily updates and photos that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for while we were away. Knowing he was in such good hands gave us complete peace of mind. On top of taking exceptional care of Stetson, Kathy treated our home with incredible respect. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Kathy to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and thoughtful house and pet sitter.

Ava was so amazing with our three pets. She stayed in our home to watch our dog and two cats. I had never left our dog with anyone except family, so I was nervous going in. Ava was so wonderful with all three animals, and sent frequent updates so I didn’t have to worry if they were okay. She handled our stubborn dog and picky senior cats with so much patience and flexibility. Our time away went so smoothly because of how wonderful she was. We couldn’t recommend her more and will be booking her again the next time we go out of town!

Seva was amazing. This was the first time that we used Rover and had someone other than family take care of Chip. Chip is 17 years old and has anxiety when the family is not home. Seva took such good care of Chip and would send pictures and updates throughout her time with him. As we were off celebrating my daughter's wedding, it was great to know that Chip was well taken care of by Seva, who is very experienced with dogs especially older ones. It was one less thing for me to worry about. Thank you Seva!!

Hannah was a wonderful sitter! We booked her last minute and it worked out really well. She came to our home to take care of our cat and her kittens. She communicated very well every day, sent several photos, and followed the instructions we left her. Our cats loved her! What I appreciated was that she did a meet and greet beforehand. The cats were cared for well and we’d love to have her sit again in the future.

We’re very picky and particular dog parents and we’re very thrilled to find Ryan! He and his wife Maria make a good team and we’re relieved that they can cover each other especially since our dog needs meds in the middle of the day. Ryan was super communicative, and followed all of our Barney’s routines to precision! We highly recommend Ryan and Maria!

Alison was super! Very responsive and clear in communications. Very good creating trust and comfort with all three pups... And the pups' owners! Our anxious dog, Emma, was soon sitting on Alison's lap. The dogs were so comfortable that they were relaxed and playing with each other in no time. Will definitely look up Alison for future sits.

Pierce was absolutely wonderful with our dogs, Eva Jolie, Chloe, and Simba. It was clear from the moment we got home that they were well cared for, comfortable, and happy during their stay. Eva Jolie, Chloe, and Simba all seemed relaxed, content, and received plenty of love and attention. Pierce kept us updated. It gave us tremendous peace of mind knowing they were in such caring hands. We would not hesitate to trust Pierce with our dogs again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable pet caregiver.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Champagne Fountain walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Champagne Fountain maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Champagne Fountain choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Champagne Fountain. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
