A typical day
As a vet-assistant and future vet student, I blend fun with mindful care. We start the day with a health check and enrichment walk, followed by training games or treat puzzles to keep them sharp. Throughout the day, I track eating, hydration, and behavior while giving them plenty of play, cuddles, and calm companionship.

Animals are my life’s work, not just my job. I’ve spent over 10 years caring for pets of all kinds, from fragile neonates to senior dogs requiring medical supervision. I’m a vet assistant in shelter and clinical medicine, certified in Pet CPR & First Aid, and currently preparing to start veterinary school next year. I hold a UC Berkeley degree in Molecular & Cell Biology and have fostered over 150 animals, specializing in medical and behavioral rehabilitation. My background gives me the skill to notice subtle changes in health or mood and the heart to treat every pet like family. I come with credible references, extensive medical knowledge, and a deep sense of purpose. Caring for animals isn’t just what I do, it’s who I am. With me, your pet isn’t just looked after: they’re understood, protected, and genuinely loved.

Seva took care of my cat while I was gone. She’s an awesome sitter and I couldn’t be happier with her service. Worth mentioning that my return was delayed and I had to request an extra day which she accepted almost immediately and did the visit on the same day.
Seva was so great - she hopped in to help us when a last minute emergency meant we needed pet care. She was flexible with Nala who is a senior and has unique needs, and very quick to respond to us whenever we checked in and had questions. She left the home in excellent shape too :) thank you Seva!
