About: I've been around animals since I was a kid and currently care for a cat and 2 budgies! I've helped friends out in the past by pet sitting cats, chickens, and a tortoise. I also love dogs and do well around them. I love animals of all kinds and I'm experienced and prepared to give your pets the best care possible while you're gone to make sure they feel comfortable and safe! I'm currently on summer break, so I have plenty of time on my hands to care for your animals! Until I go back to university in mid-August, I'm free to take on jobs any time besides between July 9th-July 14th. I will provide incredible care for any pets you may have. I'm patient and understanding of each animal's unique needs and personalities. I can send updates and pictures of each visit so you know your pets are doing well.
“Linda has been great with Waffles. She is reliable, always responds quickly to messages, and has helped me out on short notice when my plans changed suddenly. Waffles clearly has a great time from the cute pics Linda always shares. I would highly recommend Linda to anyone!”
“Michelle was great to work with! We went out of the country and had spotty service, I felt completely confident and at ease knowing the dogs were in good hands. Even though I wasn’t able to view the photos and check in’s right away, I appreciated receiving the notifications. Michelle did everything we asked and was very professional!”

“Sejla once again took amazing care of my cats! This was the first time I left the new kitty alone with my other kitty, and Sejla did a great job wearing him out so he wouldn’t be a pest. I’d recommend Sejla to everyone!”

“Anahita took excellent care of our cat, while we were away. She was punctual, professional, and very responsive, and her kindness toward our cat gave me complete peace of mind. Seeing photos of Ms. Moushi happily lounging and cuddling with her was so reassuring. We’ll absolutely be using her help again.”

About: I've cared for all kinds of animals and have experience with puppies, senior pets, and pets with special needs. I'm comfortable giving medications and following any specific care routines your pet requires. I know every animal is different, so I always take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether we're going for walks, playing, or just keeping each other company, I'll care for your pet like they're part of my own family. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you're away, knowing your pet is in caring and capable hands. As a college student home for the summer, I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate a variety of pet care needs. I'm available for morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend visits, and I'm happy to work with your pet's normal routine to help them feel comfortable while you're away. Whether it's daily walks or drop in visits, I'm committed to being reliable and responsive. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In my own home, I have a fenced yard and a friendly dog, and I make sure the environment is clean, secure, and free of potential hazards. I closely supervise pets, follow any instructions you provide, and stick to their normal routine as much as possible. I'm also happy to crate pets if requested, administer medications, and provide regular updates with photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. With three furry family members of my own, I provide safe, loving, and attentive care tailored to each pet’s needs. Caring for pets is already part of my daily life with my own dogs. Walks, meals, and snuggles are built into my routine, so adding more furry friends is natural and joyful. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routines so your pup feels safe and comfortable. I provide walks, playtime, meals, fresh water, and plenty of affection. I also keep your home tidy and send regular updates with photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for in their familiar environment.

“Kathleen rocks! I have two cats that don’t do well with new people and they come out for and do extremely well with Kathleen. Kathleen is responsive, attentive, reliable and a great personality. . I will be using her services in the future. Services used: daily cat drop ins for food and company.”

“Selena has been amazing with my 10-week-old puppy! 🐶💕 I booked repeated 30-minute drop-ins while I’m at work, and the first week has gone so smoothly. She followed all instructions and showed so much love and care. She even suggested a bath when she noticed some scratching—super helpful advice! I feel totally at ease knowing my puppy is in such good hands. 🐾💛”

About: I’ve been dog sitting, walking, and providing overnight care for several years, working with dogs of all sizes—from Chihuahuas to Great Dane mixes. I’m comfortable with energetic, playful dogs as well as shy or fearful pups who need patience and reassurance. For the past several months, I’ve taken shelter dogs on field trips through County of Santa Clara Animal Services, where I’ve gained experience handling dogs in new environments, on hikes, and in stimulating settings. This has strengthened my leash handling, situational awareness, and ability to read canine body language. I also have experience with both senior dogs and puppies. I understand that seniors may need a slower pace and gentle care, while puppies require consistency, structure, and positive reinforcement. My goal is always to make your dog feel safe, exercised, and loved while you’re away :) As a student, I have a structured but flexible schedule which allows me to consistently fit pet care into my daily routine. I’m typically available for morning, midday, and evening drop-in visits, and I plan my class schedule to allow time for reliable pet care commitments. Pet care fits naturally into my week—whether that means morning walks before class, midday drop-ins, or evening visits and overnights. I’m organized and intentional about managing my time, so I only accept bookings I can fully commit to. On weekends, I have even greater flexibility for longer visits, extended stays, or multiple drop-ins per day. I prioritize clear communication and reliability so you can feel confident your pet is in consistent, attentive care! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, walk routes, house rules, and any specific behavioral needs. Safety is always my top priority. I double-check doors, gates, and harnesses, remain attentive on walks, and closely monitor pets during visits. I’m mindful of potential hazards and ensure your home is left exactly as I found it—clean, secure, and respected. I also provide regular updates with photos and messages so you can feel connected and reassured while you’re away. I understand that trusting someone with your pet and home is a big responsibility, and I treat both with the highest level of care and respect.
About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs & cats, as well as my friends’ for the last 15 years. I have experience with big ones, small ones, feisty, friendly… they all deserve all the love. I’m currently working part-time, mostly off my phone, so I will have plenty of time to have quality time with your pet(s)! I’ve had animals with a more regimented schedule & others that are low maintenance- happy to accommodate both. I have a fenced yard & a small senior Shih Tzu to keep your animal company! There’s also lots of parks in the area- both with other dogs, or more private.
“Haley is so kind and caring, she was very patient with my cat Jesse and went above and beyond in taking care of him. We’d definitely book her time again to check in on our cat when we are away.”
“Stacey was wonderful! She truly went above and beyond to make sure our babies felt loved and safe. Stacey was great with communicating and made sure to reach out with any questions. She sent updates every day with pictures, and did more than we had asked (scooped the kitty litter every day, cleaned a bowl I had left in the sink, etc). This was the first time I had come home after having a pet sitter where my babies were obviously relaxed and happy, it was such a relief. I was able to enjoy my trip without being stressed about home. I will definitely work with Stacey again should the need arise.”

“Olivia is absolutely wonderful! She loves animals and our pets warned up to her right away. She sends cute pictures and is really on top of things. We are very thankful to have her helping with our fur babies!!”

“Ching-Chi did a great job setting my cat! Highly recommended!!! Besides keeping my cat’s water food and litter well supplied and clean, she played with my cat every time and helped with the trash bin while we are absent. I will definitely book her services again for my next trip!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Champagne Fountain
Jeanne was on time the two mornings to feed our feral cats which are three to four of them, though these cats she will not see since they hide until she leaves our front yard. Yet, we invited her into our front room when she came to our front door and Jeanne has a wonderful spirit who can talk about just about anything plus no shyness is there about her. Jeanne smiles, laughs and keeps eye contact while we all talked also. Lovely personality she has... I'm glad she lives close by us too. Thank you. Sincerely, Mrs. Bonnie Kellerby

This was my first experience using Rover, and I am so happy that I found Sydney. From the moment I contacted her, she was punctual, kind, and professional. She immediately connected with my cat, which gave me great peace of mind. The photos and updates she sent showed a happy and relaxed cat, and it was clear that he was receiving excellent care. I am truly grateful for the attention, kindness, and dedication Sydney showed throughout the entire experience. I highly recommend her and would gladly book with her again.

Haotian is a great cat sitter, reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring. She handled all the essentials perfectly and spent quality time giving my cat attention and play. I really appreciated all the daily updates and photos. My cat was relaxed and happy when I returned. Highly recommend!

Ching-Chi did a wonderful job caring for our pets. She came on time for the drop-in visits every day, and was very communicative, providing lots of photos of our happy pets. She is very conscientious and professional as well as being kind to the animals she cares for. I highly recommend her!

Chloe is flexible, accommodating and very professional! We just moved to the area and were nervous to find a new pet sitter, but she made us feel so comfortable. We have a blind dog, and Chloe was confident in navigating it. She even made a point to research another medical condition that my dog has! Another plus is that our dog and cat usually aren't very social with strangers, but they both warmed up to her pretty easily!

Victoria did a great job taking care of our cat lord Reggae when we were away for the long weekend. Reggae was still getting used to the new environment and Victoria made sure he was well fed and engaged and we came back seeing Reggae looking comfy and at ease.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
