Hi, I’m Skye. I offer a calm, detail-oriented approach to pet care, shaped by my background in engineering. I’m naturally attentive and have a strong sense of responsibility, with safety as my top priority. I carefully follow each dog’s routine, never introduce new food without approval, and closely monitor behavior, energy levels and overall well-being. You’ll receive regular updates and photos besides the Rover card, so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. I intentionally keep my daycare small—only one dog at a time (or two from the same household)—to provide focused, individualized care in a low-stress environment. I have no other dogs, and my rabbit stays in a separate room. My yard is chemical-free, and I’m mindful of plants that may be unsafe for dogs when we go on a walk. With years of experience working with horses, dogs, rabbits, I’m skilled at reading body language, staying calm under pressure, and building trust at each animal’s pace. I respect each animal’s individual preference and I’m especially patient with shy, sensitive, or senior dogs. I’m happy to provide the extra attention and gentle care they may need. I view pet care as more than a service. It’s something I genuinely care about. And I give back by donating a third of my Rover income to local dog rescue organizations every month.

Safety, trust & environment
I own a home in a safe neighborhood at west San Jose with a moderate-sized, fully fenced yard that provides a safe space for dogs to play and relax. The lawn has real grass and is chemical free. I don’t have any pets of my own, so your pet will receive my full attention in a calm, low-stress environment. For extra safety, I use an outdoor yard camera to monitor dogs while they’re in the yard. I prioritize working with owners who value consistency and are ready to move forward after a meet & greet, so I can provide the best experience for every dog in my care. I schedule meet & greets with clients who are seriously considering booking, to ensure my time and attention are fully dedicated to each dog.

Skye took care of my Shiba for the past week. She was reserved during the meet & greet, but she had incredible attention to detail and care. Not only did she take regular (and amazing) photos every day, she made sure to brush him regularly and feed him cold water from the fridge. It really felt like she was treating him as her own. Given Shiba commonly act like cats, if you have a dog or a cat, i have no doubt that she’ll take great care of them!
Haotian is a great cat sitter, reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring. She handled all the essentials perfectly and spent quality time giving my cat attention and play. I really appreciated all the daily updates and photos. My cat was relaxed and happy when I returned. Highly recommend!
Haotian is amazing! She took very good care of YoYo when I’m out of town. She is a very detail oriented person and makes sure everything is smooth. She took a lot of cute picture of YoYo and wrote very detailed Rover Card! Even it’s raining, she still found ways to walk YoYo. I really appreciated her help!! Thank you so much!!
Haotian was great with Ollie. She sent pictures and updates as she watched him and it was so nice knowing he was in great care. She took him for a walk, played with him outside, and even got him to relax and be calm too. When I came to pick him up he was sitting right next to her happy as can be :) 10/10 would recommend, your dog will be so happy with her!
Haotian is an exceptional and genuinely caring person. We trusted her with a senior Husky who has some mobility limitations, and she handled everything with incredible attention and patience. From the very beginning, she was understanding and accommodating, which gave us immediate peace of mind. She kept us updated throughout the day and made sure everything was done at a pace that suited our husky's needs, with a great balance of activity, rest, and attentive care. When we picked her up, she was calm, comfortable, and clearly had a great day, which says everything. It’s not easy finding someone who truly understands how to care for a dog that needs extra attention, but Haotian did it effortlessly. What stood out most was her genuine care and professionalism. You can tell she takes this seriously and treats every dog like her own. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone, especially if your dog requires a little extra care. Schedule
I’m taking a break from corporate life and currently working part-time at home as a photographer, so I have plenty of time to pay attention to pets and interact with them. I may get a little busier over the weekends but I’m very flexible on weekdays. During daycare I’m home most of the time, but dogs may be alone for short periods (1-1.5h) if I need to step out. Dogs should be comfortable relaxing independently for short periods.
