About: Hi! I’m a psychology graduate student and lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small pets. I have experience with puppies, kittens, senior pets, and administering medications. I volunteer in animal-assisted therapy at a local shelter and love making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their family is away. I welcome pets and families of all backgrounds and identities! As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable pet care throughout the week. I'm available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, and I'm happy to work with your pet's routine whenever possible. I always follow your instructions closely and maintain your pet’s normal routine to help them feel secure while you're away. I provide care in your home, where your pet is most comfortable in their familiar environment.
About: I've been around pet friends my entire life! I am also a proud dog parent to a rat-chi of 6 years. My experience is most with dogs, but I have been a dog and cat sitter for family and friends for several years. I welcome both dogs and cats of all age ranges, and can't wait to meet, care, and play with your fur baby! I'll have plenty of time to look after your pets in between working part time and school! I am most available on weekends, but am happy to do pet sitting, walking, and boarding on weekdays as needed. I am always available to reach via texting/phone call, and work to keep you updated for peace of mind knowing your fur baby is being well taken care of.
“Suzanne did drop in visits for our kitty while we were out of town, and she did a fantastic job. She was super attentive during the meet and greet and clearly connected with our cat during the first introduction. Our cat was immediately at ease and comfortable with her. During the drop-ins, she showed up at the time scheduled, followed our feeding and litter box instructions to a T and sent cute photos and left great notes in the app. She also brought in a package for us, which we appreciate so much! She spent the full time that we scheduled with our cat, which we appreciated immensely. Also, this was my first time using Rover, and Suzanne really helped me through the process even when I didn’t know how to schedule multiple days and then didn’t realize I had to confirm the booking. Suzanne was patient and coached me through it. I wholeheartedly recommend her. She is reliable, personable, clearly has a way with animals and is so good with cats!”

“Li took fantastic care of my two cats! She sent daily updates with photos and information about the visit and was very proactive about checking that everything was as it should be. She worked well with the cats and got them to trust her and respond with affection despite being a new person to them. It is reassuring to have someone like Li taking care of them when I can't be there!”

“Keilah was such a great sitter. She was very quick to respond, very accommodating, and spent plenty of time making sure the pups were entertained while she dropped in for the hour. Definitely would book again!”

“We had a great experience with Hsuan-Chu. She took such good care of our cats and really spent time playing with them, which they loved. Clove is usually pretty shy and nervous around new people, but she actually felt comfortable with Hsuan-Chu and even warmed up to her, which meant a lot to us. Cumin also enjoyed spending time with her and clearly had a great time playing. Communication was easy, we always got thoughtful updates, and we could tell they were both happy and well cared for. We’d definitely book with her again.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Santa Clara
We had Qianwen do two drop-in visits for our cat, Paw, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was very detail-oriented and took excellent care of him. She also sent us lots of adorable photos and videos, which we really appreciated. Knowing Paw was in such good hands gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We highly recommend Qianwen and will definitely book her again in the future!
Jin was fantastic with Jojo! It was our first time using Rover, and she made the whole process completely stress-free while we were away. She followed all our daily instructions perfectly, kept everything clean, and gave Jojo plenty of attention. We'll definitely be reaching out to her again next time we travel!

Zihan did an excellent job of checking in on my cat while I was out of town for over a week. I appreciated the updates and pictures she provided each day and her attention to detail. She went above and beyond with keeping everything clean and perfect for when I came back.

Stephanie was amazing with Trackie! She was reliable, paid close attention to all the care instructions, and gave thoughtful updates that really put my mind at ease. It was clear she genuinely cared about Trackie, and she looked so happy and comfortable during her visits. This was my first time using Rover, and Stephanie made it such a great experience. I would rebook her in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter!

Anna was great with my three cats and was very accommodating to each of their personalities and needs. Two of my cats usually aren't so quick to warm up to strangers, but they were friendly with Anna in no time. She was thorough with brushing my cat who was prone to hairballs, and gave her medication every day with no problems.

Lucy provided excellent care of our three senior cats during our 4 day trip. She administered medication, fed, watered and cleaned up after our cats. Her reports from visits were fun, informative and made us laugh. She provided plenty of pictures to show that the cats were active, correct medication was being administered and the food/water/bathroom areas were all being kept clean. Lucy was wonderful through every step of the way and provided excellent care to our cats durning her visits!

Kexin really cared about my cat and took the time to get to know her personality and quirks to provide a calming and enjoyable experience. I would absolutely book again just for the kindness and compassion not to mention the care she took to keep everything clean and orderly.

This was my second time booking with Hejie, and she was amazing as always! She’s patient, caring, and very detail-oriented. She took wonderful care of my cat, Boba, and kept me updated throughout each visit. It’s such a relief knowing Boba is in such good hands. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely book with her again!

This was our first time using Sara when our usual sitter was unavailable and she was great! She was very attentive during the initial meeting and it's very assuring to have a vet tech as our sitter as our cat gets older. She took fantastic care of our cat, going above and beyond! She sent lots of photos as well.

Ivan is very kind, detail oriented, and trust worthy as a pet sitter. We have three cats and two of them are high maintenance. Ivan was careful to give our cats their medications and daily walks outside. He played with them and frequently sent us pictures. He seemed to understand just how important our cats are to us.

Maya and I are both so happy with Suzanne’s care while I was out of town for a long weekend. She made sure all of Maya’s needs were taken care of (food, water, medication, etc), but she also spent time giving her company, attention, and love while I was away. Since Maya is a senior kitty, it was especially reassuring to know she was in such caring hands. Suzanne gave me real peace of mind, and I never had to worry about how Maya was doing while I was gone. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and dependable cat sitter.

I’ve had Sora take care of my senior cat multiple times already while Im away and feel confident that I’m leaving my cat in good hands. My cat needs to be given several medications and Sora is able to handle that with no issues. She also updates me regularly. Will definitely rebook in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
