“Mary is an amazing cat sitter , she stayed more than the 30 minutes I paid for and went above and beyond to make sure my cat was comfortable and well cared for while I was away .I would 💯 percent recommend her”

About: Everyone on here walks, but does your dog need an extra workout? I am willing to stroll, walk, play, and even run with your pup! I have two family dogs (Santita and Elphaba) who I love running with. While my living situation does not allow pets, I would be delighted to walk or pet sit your fluffy friend with the same respect, love, and care as my own. For walks and check ins, I am available in the mornings through 4pm everyday. My August/Fall schedule has not been confirmed as I will be starting a new job. Don’t let that stop you from reaching out, I am very flexible and am sure we can work out a schedule that fits your pets’ needs! Please contact me for more information on overnight stays. I will keep you notified on our events throughout the walk or stay. I will ensure your pets have enough water and food before I leave. Any kennels are locked and toys are put away. I double check kennel and house locks and wait a few minutes to make sure the pups don’t get out.

“Claire did an amazing job taking care of both my home and my cat, Bubbles, while I was away. She was reliable, communicative, and gave me peace of mind the entire time. I really appreciated the updates and photos, and it was clear that Bubbles was comfortable and well cared for. She also helped with my package deliveries, ant traps and checking on my smoke detector, which I truly appreciated. I would absolutely book Claire again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable Rover sitter!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs since I was 9 years old, and what started as a love for animals has grown into a lifelong passion and career. Over the years, I’ve worked in boarding kennels, dog daycare, and professional training, gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. Today, I own my own dog training business, where I help families build stronger relationships with their dogs through personalized training and care. I also train and compete with my own dogs in dog sports and working activities, which allows me to continually expand my knowledge and understanding of canine behavior. Whether I’m training, boarding, or simply spending time with dogs, my goal is always to provide a safe, structured, and enriching environment where they can thrive. I truly enjoy building connections with every dog I meet and treat each one as if they were my own. I look forward to giving your pup the same level of care, attention, and love that I’d want for my own dogs. Pet care will always fit into my weekly routine because I am a dog trainer and I do sports and competitions with my dogs. Dogs and pets in general are a big part of my life and always will be. Pet safety is very important to me, those are our children. I will always take a farther step to making sure safety is secured in all boundaries in my home and clients home.

“My husband and I needed somebody to check in on our cats on short notice, and we are glad Li was able help! She took care to leave thorough updates for each visit and was able to give Joey his medication. We would hire Li again to watch our cats.”
“Suzanne was great! I really felt I could trust her caring for my cats. She was great at communicating and even did me a solid and came a little earlier than scheduled one day when the automatic feeder didn’t go off! Appreciate her!”

“We had a great experience with Hsuan-Chu. She took such good care of our cats and really spent time playing with them, which they loved. Clove is usually pretty shy and nervous around new people, but she actually felt comfortable with Hsuan-Chu and even warmed up to her, which meant a lot to us. Cumin also enjoyed spending time with her and clearly had a great time playing. Communication was easy, we always got thoughtful updates, and we could tell they were both happy and well cared for. We’d definitely book with her again.”

“Keilah was such a great sitter. She was very quick to respond, very accommodating, and spent plenty of time making sure the pups were entertained while she dropped in for the hour. Definitely would book again!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Santa Clara
We can't thank Anna enough for the kindness and support she showed our family during a very difficult time. Although I had scheduled a few visits for my cat, Tipper, I had to cancel most of them because her condition worsened around the time they were scheduled. Anna was incredibly thoughtful, patient, and understanding throughout the process. She truly went above and beyond, offering the kind of care and compassion you'd normally only expect from someone close to you. I highly recommend Anna to anyone looking for a compassionate pet sitter, and I wouldn't hesitate to use her services again in the future.
Sara was awesome! She was attentive, helpful, and considerate. I appreciate all the effort she made to take care of everything while I was away. She had to cope with an unexpected power outage for two days and adapt to an uncooperative kitty--all handled like a pro. Sara gave me peace of mind while I was travelling and I would recommend her to any other pet's human.

Claire did an amazing job taking care of both my home and my cat, Bubbles, while I was away. She was reliable, communicative, and gave me peace of mind the entire time. I really appreciated the updates and photos, and it was clear that Bubbles was comfortable and well cared for. She also helped with my package deliveries, ant traps and checking on my smoke detector, which I truly appreciated. I would absolutely book Claire again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable Rover sitter!

We booked Qianwen and she was sooo accommodating when we were unsure of our plans for when we needed a sitter for our cat. I really appreciated her being very flexible with us! During our trip she made sure to send a ton of pictures and videos of our cat so we can enjoy them while we were away. Our cat took to her immediately and was so excited everytime she came over to feed and play with him. I highly highly recommend her! Our place was in great condition when we came back!

Mary was an excellent caretaker of our kitties while we were out for an extended weekend. She was very communicative, thorough, and followed the care instructions that we laid out. We appreciated the photos she sent us during her visit and will be booking with her again in the future. We would recommend Mary to other pet owners!

Anke is a real cat whisperer. Our cats are very selective about whom they let pet them, but at the same time they’re very social, so I’ve been worried about leaving them home for too long. But Anke showered them with love and playtime, and they fell in love with her right away. She’s also a great photographer and provides amazing updates and reports, with her, you always know what’s going on at home with your cats when you’re away. I’m sure they miss her now!
Jin was fantastic with Jojo! It was our first time using Rover, and she made the whole process completely stress-free while we were away. She followed all our daily instructions perfectly, kept everything clean, and gave Jojo plenty of attention. We'll definitely be reaching out to her again next time we travel!

Lucy provided excellent care of our three senior cats during our 4 day trip. She administered medication, fed, watered and cleaned up after our cats. Her reports from visits were fun, informative and made us laugh. She provided plenty of pictures to show that the cats were active, correct medication was being administered and the food/water/bathroom areas were all being kept clean. Lucy was wonderful through every step of the way and provided excellent care to our cats durning her visits!

Kexin really cared about my cat and took the time to get to know her personality and quirks to provide a calming and enjoyable experience. I would absolutely book again just for the kindness and compassion not to mention the care she took to keep everything clean and orderly.

This was my second time booking with Hejie, and she was amazing as always! She’s patient, caring, and very detail-oriented. She took wonderful care of my cat, Boba, and kept me updated throughout each visit. It’s such a relief knowing Boba is in such good hands. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely book with her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
