About: I’ve had a lifelong love for animals and hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of pets, including fish, dogs, lizards, rabbits, and cats. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong understanding of different pet needs, from maintaining routines to recognizing changes in behavior or health. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve regularly looked after friends’ pets during vacations and work trips throughout my college years. This includes feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic care, and ensuring pets feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. What sets me apart is my attentiveness and reliability. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they receive not just proper care, but also attention, patience, and affection. I’m adaptable to different personalities and routines, whether it’s an energetic puppy or a more independent cat. I work from home, so my schedule is pretty flexible, which makes it easy to fit pet care into my daily routine. I’m also really big on living an active lifestyle. I enjoy walking and running regularly, so having a pet actually fits in perfectly with that. It’s great because it keeps both me and the pet active and engaged, and it naturally becomes part of my day rather than feeling like a separate task. I prioritize safety, comfort, and consistency in every environment I care for pets in. In my home, I have a secure, fenced yard that allows pets to roam and play safely. I also live in a quiet, pet-friendly neighborhood with nearby parks, which is great for regular walks and exercise. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their established routines as closely as possible to help pets feel comfortable and stress-free. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any specific instructions, including medications or special care. In both settings, I maintain a clean, hazard-free environment, keep a close eye on pets at all times, and make sure they get plenty of attention, supervision, and affection. My goal is to create a safe and trustworthy experience where both pets and owners feel completely at ease.

Although I do not have any professional experience, I do have a dog of my own and, as mentioned, volunteer to walk shelter dogs. I am able to walk, play with, or visit your dog during the day. Because I am a full time student, my hours do tend to vary.I love dogs and have had a passion for them throughout my whole life. I prefer no more than 2 dogs at a time, although I can handle 3. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact me ! I'm currently a full time student at Santa Clara University, so I do attend class 5x a week. However, I am completely free on weekends, and am available outside the hours 9am - 12:00pm. I am very flexible with times, and do not mind coming at any hour of the day as long as I am not in class. I am extremely comfortable with crating as well as putting on harnesses, jackets, etc. When in your pet's presence, he/she is my main priority and will have my focus and attention the entire time.

Anna helped me with a last minute request for dog-walking. She is responsive, detail-oriented, and thorough. Her questions about their care needs reflect genuine interest in the dog’s wellbeing and comfort. She was also careful to know how to get in/out of the home, and checked in with me about many details. I appreciated how comprehensive her thinking is. I could see from the photos how comfortable my dogs were very comfortable with her over the one hour visit. 10/10 would work with again.

I needed a last-minute dog walker for the week and Javante was so kind to help out! We weren’t able to meet beforehand, but he was very communicative and reached out with questions. Birdie seemed to love him as well! I appreciate his help and care for her so much.

Zhi W. has been an incredible dog walker for our rescue dog, Pinky. From the very beginning, she took the time to get to know Pinky and met her exactly where she was, never rushing the process. As a large rescue dog, Pinky needed a lot of patience, love, and understanding, and Zhi gave her all of that and more. Zhi has always been consistent, dependable, and an excellent communicator. She kept us updated during every walk, shared how Pinky was doing, and made us feel confident that she was in the best hands. It’s clear that she truly loves dogs and understands that every dog has unique needs. Thanks to her calm, compassionate approach, Pinky grew more comfortable and confident over time. We always felt completely at ease knowing Pinky was safe, happy, and well cared for. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Zhi again and absolutely plan to schedule walks with her in the future. We highly recommend Zhi to anyone looking for a trustworthy, patient, reliable, and caring dog walker!
Nicole was great! She was responsive, easy to communicate with, and took great care of my dog. She was flexible when an issue came up and made sure everything was handled. I really appreciated the updates and attention she gave him. Would definitely book with her again.

Tianyu was great at taking care of our high energy lab. She provided lots of pictures and videos and communicated well ensuring we don’t worry about our dog on our trip. All of Simba’s items were also very neatly kept on the counter when we got back. Overall great experience and we highly recommend!

Am adding the 5 stars to my prior review... Jamie is a mature, caring and capable pet person. We have a very anxious dog and Jamie was very understanding - taking the time to get to know him. It is very challenging to find someone who you can trust with your pets, and we are lucky to have found Jamie!
