About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs & cats, as well as my friends’ for the last 15 years. I have experience with big ones, small ones, feisty, friendly… they all deserve all the love. I’m currently working part-time, mostly off my phone, so I will have plenty of time to have quality time with your pet(s)! I’ve had animals with a more regimented schedule & others that are low maintenance- happy to accommodate both. I have a fenced yard & a small senior Shih Tzu to keep your animal company! There’s also lots of parks in the area- both with other dogs, or more private.
“Allyn is amazing! She’s reliable, super sweet, and our dog absolutely loves her. You can just tell she genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own. She’s also easy to communicate with and flexible. We feel so lucky to have found her!”

“Kristine is awesome! She asked many questions to get to know our fur babies during the m&g. Our pups love their walks with Kristine! She’s very attentive and sent us detailed updates on each walk. We will continue to have Kristine care for our dogs in the future.”

“Kate was awesome with my Golden Retriever and I would definitely hire her again. Reliable, communicative, trustworthy, professional and friendly. My dog was excited to go on walks with her!”

About: Since the young age of 5, I have wanted to become a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. It has been a path I have wanted to pursue for all of my academic career. Currently, I am a full-time student at UC Davis and I am an Animal Science major. Throughout my education, I participated in a year-long course for veterinary assistants, completed various internships regarding animals, have taken several animal science related classes, volunteered at a vet clinic, and I watch educational videos regarding animals and domestic pets every day. I have been a cat owner most of my life, so I did not have a lot of experience with dogs prior to working at animal clinics and working as a pet sitter through Rover. After garnering experience with dogs, I have loved them even more and I am willing to expand my knowledge of dogs further! I am very attentive with taking care of animals and I learn incredibly fast. When I volunteered at a veterinary clinic and since working at Rover, I have walked numerous dogs, fed them, washed them, and learned how to play with them. I have also walked a friend’s dog many times in my free time. When it comes to dogs, I am aware of how they need a lot of attention and I can provide that! If the dog has separation anxiety, I spend extra time taking care of them, playing with them and cuddling with them. I try my hardest to play with the dog as much as they want and even walk extra if the dog wants it. I make sure that their food and water bowls are filled, groom them if the owner requests it, to be attentive with their behavior and watch them at all times, make sure they don’t get into anything during their walks, and clean up after them on walks. If the dog has a disability, I will try my best to accommodate them and help them as much as I can so they are comfortable. I love certain dog breeds incredibly! I enjoy bigger dogs like huskies, golden retrievers, and labradors! I think they are so cute and their size makes them more adorable. I adore personality-driven dogs as well like shiba inu’s and corgi’s! All dogs are great, but I have a soft spot for bigger dogs and ones who have big personalities! I am a full-time student throughout the year, but I visit home weekly and I am able to take a majority of requests! During the summer and around holidays, I am available all full time🙂 I only am able to care for pets in their own homes because of my own pets. Moreover, in clients homes I will make sure to lock doors and enter carefully without letting pets escape. I also make sure no food is around animals that can harm them or chemicals. I will clean up after each visit and after I walk a dog. Furthermore, I’ll keep the food and water bowls filled, litter box cleaned, and take care of pets as needed. Lastly, I am always careful when first meeting a pet and build up their trust.
“Alexander has walked my dog for two walks so far, and he has been AWESOME. Super reliable, easy to work with, communicative, and very clearly cares for dogs. Highly recommend him, and I’m looking forward to working with him regularly! It’s my first experience using Rover, and I’m really grateful we found Alexander!”

About: With over 10 years of hands-on pet care experience, I have developed a strong passion for providing safe, loving, and reliable care for animals of all sizes and personalities. My experience includes daily dog walking, pet sitting, feeding routines, administering basic medications, and caring for pets with different energy levels and needs. I understand that every pet is unique, so I prioritize maintaining their normal routines to help them feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. Whether it’s an energetic walk, playtime, or quiet companionship, I focus on creating a positive and stress-free experience for both pets and owners. I take pride in being dependable, attentive, and communicative, providing regular updates and photos so pet parents feel confident their pets are in caring hands. My goal is always to treat every pet like family and ensure they feel loved, safe, and well cared for at all times. I work from home, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and dedicate consistent time and attention to the pets in my care. Because I am home throughout the day, I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship rather than pets being left alone for long periods. My flexible routine allows me to accommodate daytime visits, walks, drop-ins, and extended stays while ensuring pets receive supervision, care, and interaction throughout the day. I prioritize maintaining each pet’s normal schedule to help them feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed while their owners are away. I focus on providing pets with a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment by maintaining their normal routines as closely as possible. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, my priority is making them feel secure, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. In my home, pets receive consistent supervision since I work from home, allowing for regular potty breaks, walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I create a calm and clean space where pets can relax, play, and feel at home. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the household environment. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, walks, medication (if needed), litter box or yard maintenance, and enrichment activities. I also provide companionship to reduce stress and separation anxiety while keeping the home tidy and secure. Communication is very important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos to give pet parents peace of mind knowing their pets are happy and in trusted hands.
“Andriana took our very excited 10 months old dog on a walk. Bingo looked like she was having a very good time with her. Communication was fast, easy and super friendly. We’re excited to book with Andriana again!”

“Sydney was such a great help while I was visiting San Jose for a work trip. She was incredibly reliable, and I could tell Bandaid had a wonderful time with her. By the time I got back to the hotel after long workdays, he was always calm, happy, and clearly well cared for. Thank you so much, Sydney. Wishing you all the best and Bandaid already misses you 🐾🫶🏻”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Cupertino
Tianyu was great at taking care of our high energy lab. She provided lots of pictures and videos and communicated well ensuring we don’t worry about our dog on our trip. All of Simba’s items were also very neatly kept on the counter when we got back. Overall great experience and we highly recommend!

Skye took care of my Shiba for the past week. She was reserved during the meet & greet, but she had incredible attention to detail and care. Not only did she take regular (and amazing) photos every day, she made sure to brush him regularly and feed him cold water from the fridge. It really felt like she was treating him as her own. Given Shiba commonly act like cats, if you have a dog or a cat, i have no doubt that she’ll take great care of them!

Michelle is very communicative and professional. She took great care of Teddy and kept me updated throughout, which gave me so much peace of mind. It’s clear she genuinely loves and cares the dogs she works with. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her!

Joel has been absolutely amazing with our pup, Lilo! He maintained excellent communication throughout, sending frequent updates and plenty of photos. He was attentive to every detail and incredibly flexible—he even helped with an extra walk when our flight home was delayed. Lilo was safe, happy, and well cared for under Joel’s watch. We will definitely book with him again and highly recommend his services!

Narine was absolutely amazing! We went on a 9day trip to Alaska and hired her to walk our two dogs twice a day. She went above and beyond~after every visit, she’d send us adorable photos of our pups looking so happy with the biggest smiles. She always kept us updated on how they were doing, including their eating and potty habits. Water and food were always topped off. When we came back, our dogs were happy and energetic as ever. Really appreciated how responsible and attentive she was~

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
