“Sarah did great job walking Goldie. She was helpful throughout all the walks and very good with communicating. She followed all instructions and did the very best she could do to walk my pet.”

About: I have several years of real-life pet care experience. I’ve cared for one dog consistently for the past 5 years and have been caring for a second dog for the last 2 years. This includes daily walks, feeding, playtime, basic training reinforcement, and providing a safe, loving environment. Having managed two dogs with different needs, I’m attentive, patient, and reliable when it comes to pet care. I have a very flexible, open schedule that allows me to be available throughout the day. This flexibility lets me provide consistent supervision, walks, playtime, and attentive care for pets. I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm, positive environment in my pet care. I closely follow each pet’s routine, provide constant supervision, and maintain a clean, secure space. My goal is to ensure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and well cared for at all times.
“Suz was so great! Super quick to respond, kept me updated and provided tons of photos - our pup was so happy with her walk. Will be connecting with her again for another walk - and would highly recommend!”
“Darnelle helped me out last minute ! She was quick and responsive. She send lots of pictures with makes me feel good and my dog is always in good spirits when she comes around”

“Anke has taken such great care of my Doberman Hela. She walked her and spent quality time with her while I traveled. It was such a relief to see Hela happy and relaxed while I was away. Thank you Anke!”

About: I've raised a dog from 10 months to his senior years and now own a cat. I'm extremely comfortable walking very long distances (2 hrs+) so I can definitely fulfill your dog's walking needs! I've also helped board my friends' dogs of various sizes throughout the years. I'm currently in between jobs so I have a lot of free time to walk and look after your pets! Weekdays are almost completely free as well as most weekends. If house sitting, I'll definitely check in with what you're comfortable with and send picture updates! When dog walking I will keep them on leash at all times.
About: Hi! I’m a De Anza College nursing student and a lifelong dog and animal lover. I’m reliable, routine-focused, and confident caring for a wide range of dogs, including high-energy pups and dogs who need calmer, structured walks. I gained hands-on experience caring for a sweet but reactive Golden Retriever while working as an au pair in Germany, so I’m very attentive to leash safety, triggers, and keeping walks smooth and safe. I’m also raising my own Golden Retriever puppy, Sunny, so I’m comfortable managing energetic dogs and staying consistent with routines. I’m detail-oriented, happy to follow your instructions closely, and I can give oral medications if needed. I’m also gentle with senior dogs who need a slower pace. You can expect thoughtful updates, photos, and calm, consistent care. Pet care fits into my weekly routine. I plan my class/study schedule around my Rover bookings so I can be consistent and on time. On weekdays, I’m typically available for morning, midday, and evening visits/walks (my calendar reflects my exact availability). I prioritize routine, so once we agree on times, I stick to them. I also build in flexibility for longer walks, extra potty breaks, and unexpected needs, and I communicate early if anything changes. Trust and safety are my top priorities, and I treat every pet like my own. In a client’s home: • I will make sure to follow your routine (feeding, potty breaks, walk style, and house rules). • I always double-check doors, gates, and leashes/harnesses before leaving. • Walks are calm and controlled: I avoid risky situations, keep safe distance from triggers, and don’t allow off-leash time unless you’ve explicitly approved a secure area. (I never take pets to dog parks unless the owner requests it and we’ve discussed it in advance.) • I keep your home tidy and secure (lights/locks, wiping paws if needed, quick cleanup after meals). In my home (if boarding/daycare): • Pets are supervised and kept in a calm, clean environment. • I separate pets during meals/treats to prevent resource guarding. • I use positive reinforcement and respect each pet’s comfort level. • I can accommodate crate routines if your pet is crate-trained. Communication: • You’ll get photo/video updates and a short note each visit. • If anything unusual happens (vomiting, injury, appetite changes, behavior shifts), I contact you right away and follow your instructions. • I’m comfortable giving oral medications and caring for seniors who need a gentler pace. I would also prefer a Meet & Greet so I can learn your pet’s routine and make sure we’re a great match.
“Highly recommend Jamie! She did a meet-and-greet walk with our dog, Doug and was wonderful with his high energy. Plus, she was flexible and accomodating with our schedule.”

About: I am a psychology student with years of dog-sitting experience. I’m calm, communicative, and focused on making pets feel comfortable and cared for every visit! I have a very flexible class schedule, especially Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays. Weekends are completely open! I’m able to plan walks and drop ins before, between, and after my classes. I’m also comfortable with overnight house sitting and can adjust my mornings as needed to match your pet’s routine. I am very respectful of routines and house rules. I carefully follow feeding, walking, and care instructions, and I always keep the space clean and tidy. I always make sure your home is left exactly as you found it, if not, better! My goal is to create a calm and safe environment where your pet feels comfortable and you feel completely at ease while you’re away.
“We truly believe we have found the best dog walker ever ! Judi treats Aria like she is hers. She is very flexible and is always working around our schedule. Judi is always on time and never cuts Arias walks short. Aria is very shy but Judi is so good she adapted to her very quickly and gets very excited every time she shows up! I can’t thank Hudi enough but if you are looking for someone to take care of your baby Judi is definitely the right person !!!”
“Shawna is so great!! Excellent at communicating. Goose had such an amazing time on their walks this weekend. We didn’t have to worry about Goose while we were away because we knew he was in excellent hands. Thank you, Shawna!”

“Katie was great to work with! She was punctual, had great communication and sent us pictures of our dogs after their walks. They look so happy with her! I would definitely recommend Katie for your rover needs! Thanks Katie!”

“Amelia did an incredible job watching Kalo! She was attentive, sent great updates, and followed all instructions perfectly. Kalo clearly had a wonderful time and was so relaxed when I got home. I'll definitely be reaching out to her again- highly recommend!”

Am adding the 5 stars to my prior review... Jamie is a mature, caring and capable pet person. We have a very anxious dog and Jamie was very understanding - taking the time to get to know him. It is very challenging to find someone who you can trust with your pets, and we are lucky to have found Jamie!
Stephania has been doing check ins for my Dachshund puppy twice a day 3x a week for a few weeks now, and it is no easy task! At our first initial meeting, Stephania asked very detailed questions about her care, training, schedule, behavior, vet information, and also my expectations on what a day to day visit would look like. Her diligence reassured me that she is detailed oriented and really cares about providing the best care possible. She is very easy to contact, responds quickly, and openly communicates. My work schedule is very random, but Stephania goes above and beyond to work around it. Stephania is also very respectful of my home, and leaves it exactly as I left it, which I really appreciate. I also have cats in my home that she is not responsible for caring for, but will still show them love and attention anyways. Poppy and I appreciate everything she does, and I am confident in rebooking her again!

RYDER Looks forward to his "Kick Off The Week" Walk with Rachel. She provides him variety, taking alternate routes around the neighborhood and exposing him to new sights and scents while out catching the morning sun and an occasional Squirrel crossing to get his heart-a-pumping! Thank you Rachel for taking such good care of our boy. I'm certain he's excited to see you arrive and walk with him... Thank You!

If you want a sitter who truly engages and connects with your dog, hire Connor. He is incredibly reliable and punctual, providing detailed summaries and photo updates. He’s even been helping me train Ruby on appropriate greetings. Ruby absolutely adores him and waits for his walks every day; I trust him entirely with her. It’s such a relief to have someone so kind and helpful. Thank you Connor for all your help!
Sasha and Claire have been amazing with Wini! They’ve been super reliable, communicative, and you can tell they genuinely care about the dogs they work with. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Wini was being taken care of while I was at work. Highly recommend them and would absolutely book again!

Katie helped me out last minute when I was in a pinch. I have never hired a dog walker through Rover and have only previously used dog sitting services. However, Katie made the process super easy. She spent extra time with my girl and made sure she had the walk she deserved that day.

Jason was great! Came to meet Duke before officially being booked which I really appreciated and made me feel more comfortable. It was the first time leaving Duke alone since moving here so I was a bit stressed about it. Jason was super communicative, on time and kept me posted on everything. On one of the days Duke had a little accident inside the apartment and Jason without hesitation cleaned up, it also rained on a different day and made sure to dry him off and keep him comfortable, I just really appreciated the attention to detail. Definitely would recommend and I’m already rebooking him for additional dates.
