About: Throughout my childhood I’ve been surrounded by animals of all kinds - dogs in particular. My family has always had at least one dog in our household and I’ve spent a combined three years volunteering, shadowing, and working at animal hospitals / clinics - learning how to meet the needs of every dog or cat I encounter. The passion I had as a child led me to pursue zoology. I recently graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt and while there I worked at the Humboldt Wildlife Care Center. It was here that I learned to confidently and humanely rehabilitate numerous critters. I’ve worked with everything from raccoons to seabirds! The experience I’ve collected throughout my life has left me confident in my ability to provide structured and comforting care to any cat, dog, or other critters you may have. I'm available any time of the day, on both weekends and weekdays, to give good care to your animals. The most important things I focus on are giving love to all pets and ensuring they feel safe. About: I have house sat for many families, and a majority of them had pets. I love getting the chance to connect with a furbaby and take them for fun walks, grooming them, playtime, or just keep them company and lounge if they are more low-key! I have also owned dogs my whole life (Springer Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, Pugs, Jack Russel Terrier/Beagle mix, and currently a 3-year old Cattle Dog mix. Ava is great with my senior girl. She allows Callie to go at her own pace and understands that new smells are Callie’s favorite. Ava was even willing to drive her to a nearby park to mix it up a bit so she wasn’t always walking in the same areas. Good communication and very considerate, I definitely recommend Ava!

He's understanding, listens with patience, and is meticulous about following directions — the kind of person you can genuinely count on. He handled our goofy husky like a pro, and even gave attention to our cats, which wasn't part of the job at all. He's also incredibly responsive and consistently goes above and beyond — taking Oreo on longer walks and spending extra time with him. David was an absolute godsend while we were out of town for an extended trip. We came home to a dog who was relaxed, happy, and honestly more fit and healthy than when we left, thanks to all the exercise he made sure Oreo got.
