About: I grew up with English Setters and an American Bulldog, so big dogs with big personalities have always felt like home. I even helped with training our Bulldog, which taught me that consistency, patience, and understanding body language go a long way. Every dog is different, and that’s one of my favorite things about them. Some want to sprint around the neighborhood, some would rather stop and sniff every single blade of grass (and I’ll happily wait while they conduct their very important investigations). I enjoy figuring out what makes each dog feel comfortable, happy, and engaged. Whether your dog is high-energy, a gentle giant, or somewhere in between, I’ll meet them where they are. My goal is simple: make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection while you have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. As a mechanical engineering student, my schedule varies a bit throughout the year. I keep my calendar updated to reflect exam weeks and semester schedule changes, including the transition at the end of August. I believe pets deserve unhurried, attentive care, so I only accept bookings I know I can fully commit to. That means when I’m with your pet, they have my full attention, not just a spot squeezed into a busy schedule. I understand that trusting someone with both your pet and your home is a big decision. I’ll always treat your home with the same care and respect I’d expect someone to show mine. I’ll carefully follow your pet’s routine, respect any household rules, double-check doors and gates, and make sure your pet has fresh water, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe and happy.
About: With over 10 years of hands-on pet care experience, I have developed a strong passion for providing safe, loving, and reliable care for animals of all sizes and personalities. My experience includes daily dog walking, pet sitting, feeding routines, administering basic medications, and caring for pets with different energy levels and needs. I understand that every pet is unique, so I prioritize maintaining their normal routines to help them feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. Whether it’s an energetic walk, playtime, or quiet companionship, I focus on creating a positive and stress-free experience for both pets and owners. I take pride in being dependable, attentive, and communicative, providing regular updates and photos so pet parents feel confident their pets are in caring hands. My goal is always to treat every pet like family and ensure they feel loved, safe, and well cared for at all times. I work from home, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and dedicate consistent time and attention to the pets in my care. Because I am home throughout the day, I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship rather than pets being left alone for long periods. My flexible routine allows me to accommodate daytime visits, walks, drop-ins, and extended stays while ensuring pets receive supervision, care, and interaction throughout the day. I prioritize maintaining each pet’s normal schedule to help them feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed while their owners are away. I focus on providing pets with a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment by maintaining their normal routines as closely as possible. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, my priority is making them feel secure, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. In my home, pets receive consistent supervision since I work from home, allowing for regular potty breaks, walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I create a calm and clean space where pets can relax, play, and feel at home. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the household environment. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, walks, medication (if needed), litter box or yard maintenance, and enrichment activities. I also provide companionship to reduce stress and separation anxiety while keeping the home tidy and secure. Communication is very important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos to give pet parents peace of mind knowing their pets are happy and in trusted hands.

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life! I grew up caring for my senior dog, including giving him medication, taking him on walks, and helping with his care as he got older. I also grew up around horses and have cared for some more unusual pets, including my own ghost mantis! I currently work part-time about three days a week. My shifts vary, but I receive my schedule in advance, which allows me to plan pet care around my work schedule and coordinate availability with owners ahead of time. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow their normal routine and any specific instructions closely. I’m respectful of both your home and your pet’s space, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.
“So glad we found Courtney! My dog, Ivy, and I did a Meet & Greet and walked around the block. Ivy can be a handful on the leash, but Courtney did a great job managing her energy and pulling. We had a nice chat while walking together, and it’s clear Courtney has a natural way with dogs. Ivy liked her so much she was ready to head off on a longer walk without me! She's responsive, easy to talk to, and definitely someone I trust. I felt completely comfortable leaving Ivy in her care and have added her to my 'favorites' list for future walks.”

“Shawna is so great!! Excellent at communicating. Goose had such an amazing time on their walks this weekend. We didn’t have to worry about Goose while we were away because we knew he was in excellent hands. Thank you, Shawna!”

“Suz was so great! Super quick to respond, kept me updated and provided tons of photos - our pup was so happy with her walk. Will be connecting with her again for another walk - and would highly recommend!”
“Kate was awesome with my Golden Retriever and I would definitely hire her again. Reliable, communicative, trustworthy, professional and friendly. My dog was excited to go on walks with her!”

About: Since the young age of 5, I have wanted to become a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. It has been a path I have wanted to pursue for all of my academic career. Currently, I am a full-time student at UC Davis and I am an Animal Science major. Throughout my education, I participated in a year-long course for veterinary assistants, completed various internships regarding animals, have taken several animal science related classes, volunteered at a vet clinic, and I watch educational videos regarding animals and domestic pets every day. I have been a cat owner most of my life, so I did not have a lot of experience with dogs prior to working at animal clinics and working as a pet sitter through Rover. After garnering experience with dogs, I have loved them even more and I am willing to expand my knowledge of dogs further! I am very attentive with taking care of animals and I learn incredibly fast. When I volunteered at a veterinary clinic and since working at Rover, I have walked numerous dogs, fed them, washed them, and learned how to play with them. I have also walked a friend’s dog many times in my free time. When it comes to dogs, I am aware of how they need a lot of attention and I can provide that! If the dog has separation anxiety, I spend extra time taking care of them, playing with them and cuddling with them. I try my hardest to play with the dog as much as they want and even walk extra if the dog wants it. I make sure that their food and water bowls are filled, groom them if the owner requests it, to be attentive with their behavior and watch them at all times, make sure they don’t get into anything during their walks, and clean up after them on walks. If the dog has a disability, I will try my best to accommodate them and help them as much as I can so they are comfortable. I love certain dog breeds incredibly! I enjoy bigger dogs like huskies, golden retrievers, and labradors! I think they are so cute and their size makes them more adorable. I adore personality-driven dogs as well like shiba inu’s and corgi’s! All dogs are great, but I have a soft spot for bigger dogs and ones who have big personalities! I am a full-time student throughout the year, but I visit home weekly and I am able to take a majority of requests! During the summer and around holidays, I am available all full time🙂 I only am able to care for pets in their own homes because of my own pets. Moreover, in clients homes I will make sure to lock doors and enter carefully without letting pets escape. I also make sure no food is around animals that can harm them or chemicals. I will clean up after each visit and after I walk a dog. Furthermore, I’ll keep the food and water bowls filled, litter box cleaned, and take care of pets as needed. Lastly, I am always careful when first meeting a pet and build up their trust.

“Sarah did great job walking Goldie. She was helpful throughout all the walks and very good with communicating. She followed all instructions and did the very best she could do to walk my pet.”

“Rachel is fantastic! She arrived promptly for our meet-and-greet, bringing a positive attitude. She is clearly caring and highly knowledgeable. Our boy happily allowed her to take him for a joyful one-hour walk while we headed out. We look forward to having her help again and highly recommend her!”

“Sydney was such a great help while I was visiting San Jose for a work trip. She was incredibly reliable, and I could tell Bandaid had a wonderful time with her. Wishing you all the best and Bandaid already misses you 🐾🫶🏻”

I really appreciate the great communication - looking ahead to dates that may be impacted by holidays and extended weekends. Rachel has continually reached out to ask what my plans are. We all have families and I want to be respectful of her own get-away plans as well. So I appreciate her thinking ahead - especially when I haven't. And our boy "Ryder" never misses his outing!

Ava is great with my senior girl. She allows Callie to go at her own pace and understands that new smells are Callie’s favorite. Ava was even willing to drive her to a nearby park to mix it up a bit so she wasn’t always walking in the same areas. Good communication and very considerate, I definitely recommend Ava!

David is a rare find — reliable, kind, and truly cares. There are no words to fully capture the level of care David has shown for our Oreo. He's understanding, listens with patience, and is meticulous about following directions — the kind of person you can genuinely count on. He handled our goofy husky like a pro, and even gave attention to our cats, which wasn't part of the job at all. He's also incredibly responsive and consistently goes above and beyond — taking Oreo on longer walks and spending extra time with him. David was an absolute godsend while we were out of town for an extended trip. We came home to a dog who was relaxed, happy, and honestly more fit and healthy than when we left, thanks to all the exercise he made sure Oreo got. Beyond being a wonderful dog walker, David is just a genuinely great human being — generous, humble, dependable, and someone we feel lucky to have found. Highly, highly recommend.

Zhi W. has been an incredible dog walker for our rescue dog, Pinky. From the very beginning, she took the time to get to know Pinky and met her exactly where she was, never rushing the process. As a large rescue dog, Pinky needed a lot of patience, love, and understanding, and Zhi gave her all of that and more. Zhi has always been consistent, dependable, and an excellent communicator. She kept us updated during every walk, shared how Pinky was doing, and made us feel confident that she was in the best hands. It’s clear that she truly loves dogs and understands that every dog has unique needs. Thanks to her calm, compassionate approach, Pinky grew more comfortable and confident over time. We always felt completely at ease knowing Pinky was safe, happy, and well cared for. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Zhi again and absolutely plan to schedule walks with her in the future. We highly recommend Zhi to anyone looking for a trustworthy, patient, reliable, and caring dog walker!
My dog and I are so glad we met Judi! She treats Finny as if he were her own and he absolutely loves her! Judi is meticulous about any instructions you have for your pup and your home and, because she has so much experience with dogs, she will let you know if she notices any changes or issues with your fur baby. As a new and somewhat anxious dog mom, I can relax and focus at work knowing Judi is coming over and Finny is safe and having a great time with her on their walks.

Nicole was great! She was responsive, easy to communicate with, and took great care of my dog. She was flexible when an issue came up and made sure everything was handled. I really appreciated the updates and attention she gave him. Would definitely book with her again.
