Heading out of town and your regular sitter isn’t available? I’m here to help! Whether you’re looking for a new go-to sitter, a reliable backup, or planning ahead for specific dates—I’ve got you covered. I’m now more available on Rover than ever (a big shift from my previously limited schedule!), and I couldn’t be more excited. A little about me - As a life long pet owner and an independent rescuer, I understand the deep bond we share with our fur babies and the care they very well deserve. I am experienced working with dogs (both large and small breeds), cats, puppies, kittens and special need pets. I treat every animal I care for as my very own. Please note Rover policies: * My Dog walks are offered at a base rate exclusively for pet parents who want to test a walk before booking an overnight house sit. Walks are not offered as a standalone service. Please note that walks are for exercise, enrichment, and safe handling, not dog training. Training is a separate service on Rover. Please make sure your dogs are leash trained. *For mixed-pet households (dog + cat), rates may be adjusted to reflect both species’ care needs. * House sitting includes standard care and normal walks. Dogs that need to be walked separately may require an add-on or dog-walking rate.

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I am diligent about taking all necessary safety precautions when taking care of your beloved pets. I ensure dogs are properly harnessed and leased before every walk, always double check all exists are properly blocked, am monitoring any potential chocking/safety hazards.

Yumi truly helped me out when I needed her most! I had to leave town unexpectedly, and she kindly stepped in to take wonderful care of Oscar. She kept me updated throughout the day with lots of photos and messages, which gave me such peace of mind. Most importantly, she was so loving and caring with Oscar. I’m incredibly grateful to have found Yumi and feel so lucky to know that Oscar is in such good hands. I will definitely be asking her to watch him again!
Yumi is meticulous about caring for your pets and home, I definitely recommend for house sitting. I imagine the more you use her services the better it is. Very sweet and thoughtful, sends lots of pics, and is responsive to feedback.
We’re so happy we met Yumi! She cared for our dog, Oscar, for 9 days while we were away, and we couldn’t have asked for better care. Yumi sent us lots of photos and videos every day and kept us well informed about everything happening at our house—from Oscar’s eating and dog-door routine to mail, garbage, and updates from the dog walker. She was a great communicator, used excellent initiative (even buying peanut butter for Oscar’s Kong!), and never hesitated to ask questions when needed. I always felt completely up to date and reassured about what was happening at home while we were away. We would definitely reach out to Yumi again for our next trip. We highly recommend her!

Yumi was very attentive to our pets and very communicative with us while we were away. If you're looking for transparency and happy pets, Yumi is a great choice.
Yumi has now walked Zeus 3 times and she always sends me plenty of pics and videos. She’s very communicative and professional. I’ll be using her when I got out town as well. She’s great!!

- A few things that I always want to know about pets ahead of time: * Who are their emergency contacts and their Vet information * Any medication, allergies, shedding season information, medical condition, behaviorial traits, temperament and any known triggers * Dietary needs, specific food preferences, feeding scheduling. * Are they trained for off-leash adventures? How are they around other dogs? * What are your house rules? (are shoes allowed in the house, are they allowed on the furniture, do you prefer them to sleep with me on bed) * What are their favorite toys? Do they have names? (very important) * Socialization with cats, small/large dogs, children, strangers, mail carries, etc? * What are their quirks? What are some things about them that makes them unique?
